Everyone likes D&B's or else they're just lost and weird!!! I have been visiting locations all over the country since I opened one up in Roseville, California in 2010 or 2011 as a line cook. I recently visited this location after relocating to AZ from CA and I was shocked at how delicious the Salmon is. Yes, I ordered extra garlic butter and it was soooo delicious to top it off Amy and Jaylen are now my go to bar tenders for sure. I make it a point to drive out of my way to go and hangout and relax after work. Amazing service, great food, and those two make visiting fun like drinking with old friends. I haven't even started to use my point cards yet because I've enjoyed sitting down and relaxing while we chat. Thank you both.... they deserve a raise and some praise from management for sure. Was looking for something to do. Took my nephew and two of his friends to Dave and Busters and they enjoyed it. Located downstairs downstairs was a restaurant and bowling alley. Upstairs was the billards room and the arcade. My nephew and his friends were all over the place while we sat in the bar to have drinks and appetizers. The food and drinks were average, the service slow, however it was nice to see that the tables and seats were clean. I hadn't been in a Dave & Busters in years and was reminded why I don't frequent this establishment. Customer service was dreadful. Had to flag our server down just to get a refill because she never once checked up on us. Food was ok. When we asked for the check, we notice her walk by our table 3 more times either to attend to another table or just walking by. Never acknowledged us still awaiting our check. My boys were falling asleep from waiting and were getting fussy wanting to go play. My patience ran thin and was tempted to leave but my conscience wouldn't let me do it. I went to the front and paid even though I could have walked right out without anyone even noticing. Maybe I was already upset but games seemed overpriced and it felt like an expensive Chuck E Cheese with kids running around and screaming all over the place. Four stars for the games. Dave and Buster's is always a family favorite. There are games for everyone in the family. With children in elementary school through high school, that is a big deal. There aren't many places we can go that make everyone happy. Tickets from ticket games are loaded directly on your players card. Tickets may be saved to obtain larger prizes. Dave and Buster's knows that more than kids are playing these games. Prizes range from the small toys, to electronics and kitchen accessories. Save ticket for larger prizes. My husband and his brothers wanted to come to D&B on a Saturday night with our kids. I was worried it would be super busy because it's Westgate. When we arrived we found a spot pretty quick and parked. When we walked in there was a pretty long line at the front counter. The line moved quickly and we got our card and headed to the games. First game we saw was Rock em Sock em. My husband put the card in to play but it was out of service so he was bummed at first. We wandered around and there was plenty of other games that were working. The games were pretty pricey as far as credits but everyone was having a great time. The guys got hungry so we found an open table and sat. A server saw us pretty quickly and took our drink and food orders. I don't remember his name but excellent customer service from him. He was quick and efficient which by the reviews looks like most are lacking. We were lucky. Overall, music was good, atmosphere was good, games were fun and food and customer service was great. Sad but true. My wife needs a burger put on a bed of lettuce due to a medical condition (can't do buns etc). Server says, hmm wow uh no can't do that. I try to make it easier for her to comprehend. "It's just a no bun burger over some chopped lettuce that would be on the burger anyway". Hmm yeah we can't do that. This, folks is the problem with our society. $40+ walked out the door. No manager consultation and see ya bye. Figure it out. Now the kicker, me and my kids have probably spent thousands of dollars over the years at DnB's in Orange County California. We came during their off hours and it was empty and enjoyable. We decided to grab lunch and it was good. Ordering was a bit confusing on their app but after the server explained how to use it, it's pretty simple and efficient! Overall our meals and appetizer was delicious but on the higher side price wise. They have a big selection of games and only two machines were out on our visit! My kids enjoyed them all and we loved the play card that keeps track of our points and tickets. Overall we had a great time but if you come during their busy times it gets crowded! Not to mention it's in Westgate and parking can be a nightmare. read more

We came here today after lunch for a little gaming action. Well apparently we weren't the only ones who had the same idea...because they were beyond packed. We figured it might be busy but we were definitely shocked at the long lines. We did manage to play the games we wanted with the exception of the baseball pitching one was out of order. I finally got to play the axe throwing game and found out I'm not too shabby lol. I took second place & as my grandkids would say go Mimi! There's plenty of games and some old school ones like pac man which is my favorite! I wish we could've gotten some drinks but there was no place to sit and it was hard to get a server as it looked like they might have been short staffed today. Also the bathroom was really bad. Again it could have been due to being understaffed and it being so packed. I did however see a worker wiping the games which was great. We will definitely return but on a weekday when we know it won't be so crazy. read more

Super disappointed in their customer service regarding a mistake with redeeming points this past month. My mother in law took my kids on July 18th. She purchased the 4-pack of power cards that costs $160 and stayed for several hours to enjoy some time with the kids. When they checked out and redeemed points they selected 2 dog toy treat toss machines which equaled out to 7400 points, among other items. The employee at the time combined the cards and disposed of the one empty card. Once the kids got home, they realized these "treat toss" machines were legit just a treat holder and the treat rolls out of the bottom. Shame on us, they should've looked closer at the descriptions, but she called that night and spoke with a manager who said it would be completely fine to come back and return the 2 items for points credit and explained it was their policy not to take back electronics, but since this had no batteries or power, it wouldn't be a problem. She returned today and spoke with a manager named Nate who was completely unfriendly and unhelpful. He gave her a hard time and initially refused to offer any sort of assistance even though the two items were still in the brand new packaging and she has the redemption receipts. Him and another female employee looked up the receipts, and because the two non-treat "treat tossers" were redeemed off of the card that had been thrown away, they gave her a piece of paper that shows 7400 points but to a card that they knew we no longer have in our possession. It's an insult that he ended up telling her that he'd give her 2000 points. It blows my mind that they knowingly gave her a piece of paper she can't do anything with and also confiscated the play items. I say confiscated because why would they give her something that they know she cannot use and accept the two items back. She called back later today and asked to speak with a manager, and spoke with Dakota. She explained the situation all over again, and he basically said he couldn't do anything to help since Nate is his boss. She probably spent over $200 that one visit between the cards and lunch and I'm so aggravated that they wouldn't just accept the items back and reload the points to one of the other 3 cards she took down there with her (from the original 4 pack), load it onto a new card, or offer to let the kids pick 7400 worth of stuff today. Let's be real, 7400 in points probably costs them $10 worth of junk from their prize center. Just as easily as he put 2000 points on a card she already had, he could've just returned the 7400 points. read more

Horrible "piss off" attitude from the bartender. He kept looking past us. I literally had to wave him in like I was an air traffic controller twice. The lemon pepper dry rub on the wings. Don't go there. It was not lemon pepper in the traditional sense. Rather, they put a whole lotta lemon zest on the wings, giving you the tart face. I did not protest, for fear the hard ass baldy with the Napoleon complex behind the bar get upset. The guy who brought the wings fed us some lie about how they serve fries by default and that I had to specify I didn't want them if I didn't want to be charged,,..... I won't belabor this point. They cancelled my reservation for the 18th with no explanation! I made those reservations months ago and all they can say is they're not taking any because of the Swift concert! They've known about it for months and just now a few days before are deciding to not have reservations??? They could've blocked those dates out months ago!! I'm leaving this review on the restaurant. We went with a party of 5 and two kids. Me and my husband are vegan and got the vegan burger and their new fried pickles. I was so excited for the pickles and when they came out they were a straight disappointment. They dropped the whole pickle spear into batter. The batter itself just slid right off. The photo of the item advertised were sliced pickles. Just a very weird option to plate and honestly felt lazy. Then they either forget to make the burger or it simply was not put in so we waited and watched everyone else eat and finish before our plate came out. Took a good 20 minutes to get our drinks and an hour for our food to come out completely messed up... ordered the new uptown burger and when it came out it was missing the pork belly along with onions and the garlic fries. Even though seeing bad reviews I decided to give this place a try. I should've listened to the reviews. Walking into this place seems really nice. I was excited for the pool tables. We were told to seat ourselves so we sat next to the pool tables. There were servers walking around but no one came to greet us or ask to be waited on. One server did eventually come over but it was to ask us to move so she could sit a larger group there. So we moved as we were asked and the larger group never sat there. When we were finally acknowledged and our order was placed, it was wrong. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger with a side of green beans. No green beans with my order and I got the fries. I had to wait for the green beans and they didn't arrive until I was finished with my burger. Don't even get me started on my drink and experience with the bartender there. The picture of the drink speaks for itself. The service was so poor that I didn't even go onto the game floor. I literally left and drove to Castles and Coasters to play their video games. Please read the reviews and don't waste money like I did. 9/28/2020 - I contacted the number as instructed and left a voicemail and waited the 3-5 business days. As you can see, I've waited a bit longer than that and no one has even reached out to me. At this point it doesn't matter and I will never visit another Dave & Buster's again. My one kid who had the kids pizza, the only semi edible part of the meal, ended up with food poisoning that lasted for three days, just in time for our out of town trip. Half the games didn't work and took the money off anyways. Our server disappeared, waited over an hour for a soda refill and a to go box. I had to go to the bar and tell them and ask for it. For a gimmicky chain like Dave and Busters the service and food were crazy great. I had the Beastmode bacon burger. And the wife had the cantina nachos. I upgraded with the truffle fries. Went in to view the Final Four championship game with a couple of friends! A great location to view sports games - awesome service from bartender Dom. She recommended all the worthy drinks, apps, and deals that were going on. The best service!! Also, with how busy it was it was nice to have the general manager Ryan check in on us a couple of times and chat with us about the cool things going on in Westgate area. It really should be a 3.5, I was so torn between a 3 and a 4. We came here on a Saturday with my 13 year olds art club as a field trip. The school told us to be here 10:00 am but they don't even open til 11:00am. It was the schools fault yet they still allowed us in almost an hour early which means that we had the whole place to ourselves. It was very nice and nice of them. The food was pricey but it was good. I ordered the triple bacon burger medium well and got it well done. No big deal. The bacon in that burger was one of the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. I'm still dreaming about it. We also ordered the super stack medium rare but it was also well done. It was still very good and it was so big! We had to eat it in two parts because there is no mouth out there big enough. We had tons of fun playing billiards the whole time while the kids played with their friends. Everything was fun until about noon when tons of people started showing up. It was a mad house with parents drinking as early as 11 am and unsupervised little kids running amok. I guess parents come here to unwind and just let their kids run wild. I can't even remember the amount of kids that showed up to our pool table and started messing with our balls without a parent in sight. I always thought Dave and Buster's was more of place for adults with all the alcohol and sports playing on tv. It has more of a sports bar feel but the amount of little kids running around unsupervised (im talking about 5-8 year olds) kind of ruins the whole experience. I can't imagine how crazy it gets in the evening. The whole thing boils down to one thing; would I come back again with the whole family? Hell no! It would cost me an arm and a leg. My kid got a free unlimited playing card and free meal through the school field trip yet we still ended up spending over $70 for 2 people on food and billiards(no alcohol). At that rate might as well drive to Disney. Yes we had fun and food was good but a bit too pricey for what you get. I honestly think we were able to enjoy ourselves only because we were there early when it wasn't too busy. Upbeat and fun! I was looking for a fun place to spend time with my teenage son. We had outgrown some of the other amusement joints like PPP and Chuck E. Cheese's. The WELCOME: D&B's a grown up version of the food and arcade business. It has a nice bar, happening arcade that almost looks like a casino and wide range of prizes. Not So Cool #1: Inattentive hostesses did not direct us to where we were supposed to sit to eat. So we ended up seating ourselves where they were having a private birthday party and getting stared down. The NOSH: We sat down and ordered one of the play and eat combos. Son ended with with a delicious medium well thick burger with well seasoned fries. "Better than McDonald's fries!" High praise from my son who loves fries. We got a great deal for credits on our Power Card. $18 for 120 credits. Because it was Sunday, I got the Huddle Nachos for $5. The beefy nacho sauce, jalapenos, delicious fresh guacamole, sour cream, black beans and diced tomatoes were a winning combination over warm chips. Not So Cool #2: The kitchen did not put enough sauce to chip ratio. However our server remedied it by bringing nice and warm extra sauce to finish my chips with. Way to go! The GAMEPLAY: Everything looked so inviting. We were particularly attracted to the Luigi Mansion ghost-vacuuming game and Big Buck Hunter. We also played Jurassic Park which was very exciting. The best value for play was Big Buck Hunter: 3 Trek single player was 6.8 credits. We had a blast for a long time with that game. Luigi's Mansion was fun but you had to be good at it in order to play longer, same with Jurassic Park. Not So Cool #3: 1 out of 2 Big Buck Hunter Machines were out of order. The Luigi Mansion and Jurassic Park cabins were littered with candy wrappers. The Amenities: I had to visit the washroom. Not So Cool #4: The ladies' bathroom was out of soap on one side of the bathroom, and I had to move to the other set of sinks. The toilets also stank of a combination of urine and cleaner fluid. Overall, we had a great time. We signed up for their Rewards Program and will be back to play Big Buck Hunter. Maybe this might be a Sunday tradition. read more

Although the food was okay and the waitress was good, I feel like they tried to rip us off!!! BUYER BEWARE We had food and quite a few drinks, between the two of us couples (a family of 4 and a family of 3) we racked up over $500 in a tab. My part of the tab (family of 4) was $300 roughly. I promptly handed our waitress my card and she came back with a new total of roughly $350 and it listed a gratuity expectation of another $60 or so. The charge paperwork didn't come back with the original bill... so I asked for it, since I had seen it was around the $300 mark. She brought it back and the $350 total had included an 18% gratuity. So now, the new $350 total was asking for an additional $60 In gratuity... suggesting I tip 18% on top of the $350. That would have made for roughly a $110 tip on a $300 tab. Luckily for us, I can handle a few drinks and still have my common sense... or else they would've pulled some extra tip out of me. Came here on Monday October 18 after the Coyotes home opener. Arrived at the bar at 945 PM. Was told food is available. Sat and ordered a beer and a mixed drink. Asked for a water and a food menu. Food menu came and ordered the Roasted Cauliflower, Beastmode Bacon Burger and Chicken Avocado Club sandwich. Batneder came back a few minutes later, "sorry, no cauliflower" Ok, no big deal. We'll take the Korean Sticky Ribs. Bartender delivers beer and drink, no water. Bartender arrives appropriately 10 minutes later, "sorry no chicken" Us: "Excuse me, no chicken" Bartender: Yes, no chicken you can get the Parmesan Chicken, we just don't have chicken patties. Us: (puzzled look) No patties but you have chicken for parmesan? Bartender: Yes Us: Ok, we'll take the parmesan chicken Bartender: After consulting with someone else, wait, we have chicken patties just no bread for the sandwich. Us; (Again puzzled look) Uh ok we'll take the original order (chicken avocado club), no bread. And 2 waters please Bartender: Ok. We look at each other like: WTAF! Still no water. 10 minutes later, still no water, no appetizer. 10 minutes later, still no water no appetizer. 10 minutes later... Meanwhile, 3 other tables come in and order food and receive said food, including... a Chicken sandwich with bread. 1030 PM (45 minutes after we arrived) I ask for the drink tab minus any food. Different bar tender (with a mask around his chin) says sure and brings tab to us. We explained why we're leaving without our food. He says (essentially) nothing I can do about it. Um What?? Original bartender never checked on us once. We had to flag her down every time. Manager comes over, basically apologizes (but doesn't comp 2 drinks) We leave. We got our water after 3 requests approximately 30 minutes after we ordered it. Keep an eye on your bill, they sneak a suggested tip on there, If you sign it you've tipped without even knowing it (or double tipped) Shady service. I noticed after signing but thankfully before I submitted it and signed the other copy minus their "suggested tip". For the record I ALWAYS tip. Not this time. First time at any Dave and Busters and the service here was superb. I was hired to set up the decor for a client's son's bar mitzvah lighting ceremony and the team was so helpful! It took a while to get in to the back door to unload so the lead server and his team jumped to help me. I didn't even need to ask, they all just offered which was very impressive! I wish I remembered the team's name since I'm now just finally posting my review but this was on December 13th for Cainan's Bar Mitzvah. The team was so friendly and present. The manager told us "it's faster to make" (desert was a slice of chocolate cake and ice cream). When our burger arrived it was burnt black. Overpriced - not worth the visit. Replaced burnt burgers with burnt chicken fingers. The manager argued with me and said they had to throw away a lot of food because of us.
