Came here on Monday October 18 after the Coyotes home opener. Arrived at the bar at 945 PM. Was told food is available. Sat and ordered a beer and a mixed drink. Asked for a water and a food menu. Food menu came and ordered the Roasted Cauliflower, Beastmode Bacon Burger and Chicken Avocado Club sandwich. Batneder came back a few minutes later, "sorry, no cauliflower" Ok, no big deal. We'll take the Korean Sticky Ribs. Bartender delivers beer and drink, no water. Bartender arrives appropriately 10 minutes later, "sorry no chicken" Us: "Excuse me, no chicken" Bartender: Yes, no chicken you can get the Parmesan Chicken, we just don't have chicken patties. Us: (puzzled look) No patties but you have chicken for parmesan? Bartender: Yes Us: Ok, we'll take the parmesan chicken Bartender: After consulting with someone else, wait, we have chicken patties just no bread for the sandwich. Us; (Again puzzled look) Uh ok we'll take the original order (chicken avocado club), no bread. And 2 waters please Bartender: Ok. We look at each other like: WTAF! Still no water. 10 minutes later, still no water, no appetizer. 10 minutes later, still no water no appetizer. 10 minutes later... Meanwhile, 3 other tables come in and order food and receive said food, including... a Chicken sandwich with bread. 1030 PM (45 minutes after we arrived) I ask for the drink tab minus any food. Different bar tender (with a mask around his chin) says sure and brings tab to us. We explained why we're leaving without our food. He says (essentially) nothing I can do about it. Um What?? Original bartender never checked on us once. We had to flag her down every time. Manager comes over, basically apologizes (but doesn't comp 2 drinks) We leave. We got our water after 3 requests approximately 30 minutes after we ordered it. Keep an eye on your bill, they sneak a suggested tip on there, If you sign it you've tipped without even knowing it (or double tipped) Shady service. I noticed after signing but thankfully before I submitted it and signed the other copy minus their "suggested tip". For the record I ALWAYS tip. Not this time. If you hire bar tenders that know what they're doing you wouldn't have to sneak tips the on bill. Stay as far away as possible. Unbelievable incompetence. read more

First time at any Dave and Busters and the service here was superb. I was hired to set up the decor for a client's son's bar mitzvah lighting ceremony and the team was so helpful! It took a while to get in to the back door to unload so the lead server and his team jumped to help me. I didn't even need to ask, they all just offered which was very impressive! I wish I remembered the team's name since I'm now just finally posting my review but this was on December 13th for Cainan's Bar Mitzvah. The team was so friendly and present. Drinks took some time but understandable with the business. Food was delivered and we are yet to be brought utensils. I wanted to treat my family to a special occasion and our food took an hour to deliver and service was awful. We ordered desert and it came before our actual meal! The manager told us "it's faster to make" (desert was a slice of chocolate cake and ice cream). When our burger arrived it was burnt black. Overpriced - not worth the visit. Our server was "Amy", I believe. She was also a pleasure. Short, rude, unwelcoming and had a stank look on her face the entirety of our visit. And then immediately demanded we pay her for our drinks instead of opening a tab. I ordered the Strawberry Watermelon Margarita pictured front and center on their drink menu. A shaken margarita cocktail, with berry blocks, green salt rim & garnished with a fresh lime slice. Looked sooo good in the photo. Amy made my cocktail and I shit you not-- she poured the drink into the cocktail shaker tin and proceeded to give an outstanding one single shake. One motion forward, one motion backward, strained it into a glass and served it to me. No lime. No salt rim. No "berry blocks". As you can see, it looks nothing like the drink they have plastered all over the cover of their drink menus. Later I even noticed an entire bucket full of limes halfway down the bar. What a joke. Came for the first time tonight. It was not super busy but steady. Played games and had a good time. I wanted a drink. It took a while for them to help me. Did reservation on open table, we got sat in separate section where a single waitress takes care of whole area. She was super helpful, very sweet, knowledgeable and brought over allergy menu for me. There are only 3 things in whole place that is dairy free but we made it work. Her service was great and she always kept drinks filled. The water however was horrible- tasted like we were drinking pool water (chlorine) so we ended up paying for bottled water at $3. Sodas were made with same water but couldn't smell the bleach smell as much the food portions were kinda small, but a normal serving a person should eat each meal. It's cheaper to buy your tokens for games through the waitress - you get free tokens that way but I would suggest comparing to purchasing through the App to avoid paying $3 activation fees per card. All the games were working, we played almost all of them. The token prices seem reasonable for an arcade. Bathrooms were pretty decent and surprised me. They did have security people walking around, they weren't labeled but you could tell, I appreciated that since there are children mixed in with people drinking at their establishment. All in all it was what we expected. We were celebrating a teens birthday, if we came back again we would probably just play games and skip the food. read more

I will try my best to go into detail about my experience here. I came in to catch the post fight interviews from the Edward Covington fight and I sat down at the bar. After 3 minutes of not being greeted but servers/bartenders walking by, a 2 top sat down beside me and got greeted by one of the twins (not brittney) as they were sitting. I was immediately put in a bad mood but I do understand that may happen. But after she got their food and drink she stayed to talk with them for quite a while, meanwhile I still have not been greeted or given a menu of anytime. After she stayed and flirted with the guest for a bit she darted off to make drinks and treat other guest. I became extremely frustrated when the guests food came out before I was greeted. It took me to wave someone else down to get service which at this point I wish I had just left. The entire time I was there, the twins (wearing a bears and a eagles shirt) were serving and flirting with the 2 guest that came after me and the entire time I was there i was talked to for 2 very brief separate occasions. One to grab my food and drink order (a different gentlemen dropped my food off) and to cash me out. In addition to being on Love Island apparently my food was terribly under cooked to the point where I couldn't finish it (and I absolutely love wings) napkins would have also been very helpful. All in all this had to have been thee worst restaurant and food experience I have ever experienced. Dave & Busters is an arcade/bar/restaurant that is friendly for all ages. I come to these frequently and especially on Wednesday's for the half priced games. These places have become more and more expensive over the years for games and food which is a little upsetting. They are fun to hangout at though with friends and family. FOOD: I haven't eaten at a D&B for years now, but I know that they always have had some good food and at decent prices. Their pastas always look great and so do their appetizers. Their drinks are decently priced. I had a Bloody Mary here that was spicy and delicious. This drink was $10 (no surprise). SERVICE: Their staff is always friendly. Their game attendants are helpful if something went wrong. Their bartenders tend to seem overwhelmed a lot though which is odd because half the time, the bar isn't extremely busy. I haven't had a bad experience with the staff though. OVERALL: Dave & Busters is a fun place to hangout and win some games if you've got some skill! The food here is surprisingly so good, the presentation was nice. I ordered the fire grilled atlantic salmon and loved it. My husband enjoyed the fire grilled steak and the cantina nachos was also delicious. I don't think the kids menu was worth it though, their new garlic butter pasta was very plain and didn't have any flavor it was literally pasta and butter so I wouldn't recommend that. Food - I ordered the barbecue cheeseburger and was disappointed. The pull pork that was on my hamburger was ok but a very small amount. The meat on the hamburger was very dry. The host at the main entrance booth greets us. I tell him we have a reservation. He looks in the computer and tells us the area to our left is closed so you'll need to go to the line to our right. A little further down the aisle to our right there were some people standing around so we get in the line behind them. After finding out they were waiting for others in there party to arrive and standing there for an additional 5 minutes, so about 10 minutes total with no one not saying anything to us I walk back to the host. The host looks at me, rolls his eyes, and asks if he can help me. I respond stating that you told me to go to line to the right and we're still waiting for assistance. He responds with yeah, the area to the left is closed so you need to go to the open seating to your right. I responded asking him about this open seating. The host states, yeah, the area to the left is closed so it's open seating to your right. I told him that it would be nice if he had told me that it was open seating as you told me to just go to the line to the right. The hostess responded saying something about how all parties were to go to the right. I told him that's fine, and then asked how I was supposed to have known that it was open seating. The hostess just laughed at me. I walked back to my party to go find open seating. Communication is key, and lack of communication started this visit out horribly. If the kids I was with wasn't watching I would have slapped the shit out of this ass clown host. If I hadn't been with kids I would have left. The games are fun. The food is ok. I spent way too much money but the kids I was with had fun. I don't see myself ever returning to this location due to this rude host. We went to the Westgate (Glendale) location and we had a blast. The burger was amazing and the rest of the food was as well. My draft beer 22 oz was at a reasonable price of $5.25 and sodas were unlimited refills at $2.99. I called ahead of time about any promotions for the games and the lady said there would be a $20 offer (Pay $20 get $20 free in chips) if I downloaded the app. We downloaded the app but the offer was not there but to my surprise the manager was more than happy to give us the promotion anyway! We had a blast playing the games. However, be mindful that most games require 6-8 chips on average with some as high as 10 but we still had a great time so much so that we visited again on Wednesday because all games are half off! So this time we definitely were able to play longer which meant more fun for longer! On this visit, we ran into another snafu because on the website it said if you signed up for their power card reward program you would get $10 free game play with the purchase of $10 or more chips. The email was supposed to arrive within 24-48 hours but it didn't even after a week passed by but no problem because the manager (a different one this time) was more than happy to honor the promotion especially after I showed him the offer on the website. All in all Dave & Busters is a great time and they have delicious food. It is a limited menu right now due to COVID. Prices for food is reasonable and the alcoholic drinks (except beer) seemed to average about $10 but they do have happy hour. Minuscule menu, zero social distancing, no hand washing stations and surly staff. Basic menu made up of 6-7 core ingredients to make as many variations of the same food to appear more varied. Reality is it's a dull menu made by accountants not chefs. Food was adequate, the games were crowded, social distancing was NOT being enforced and there's no hand sanitation stations to clean the "other people" off your hands before you eat. Normally I go to D&B in Tempe. However this time it was a friends bday & he wanted to ho there. Needles 2 say 4 a party of 8 - the service needs training on managing tables larger than 4. So there were 2 tables that looked available but needed 2b cleaned, when we mentioned this to the male server his comment was "I'm not sure if the tables are available for use". Finally we get seated - let the fun begin!!! Everyone begin ordering their dishes. All was good so far & some of the party went 2 play games. Suddenly 2 waiters came out with @ least 6 different flavors of wings (all ya can eat) sat them down along with some other dishes that we didnt recognize, we told the servers this but they still left them at the table & walked a way. 2 more servers came out with some of the dishes we recognized - Awesome right, umm no. They tell us that 1 of the children's meals which was a cheese burger & fries was out of stock!!!! Really, they suggested adult sliders & fries at an adult price. Another dish was a hamburger that was still frozen in the center!! Omg we should of walked out by this time, but of course we didn't. So mind you we still had all these wings along w/unknown dishes & the correct dishes on the table. When we finally got our waitress 2 notify her of the misplaced dishes, her comment was "oh idk why you got some1 elses order" & tried to even take the correct dishes. Now we had notified the waitress that were here 4 a birthday & she says they dont do anything special but give a small dessert. No problem we said. So when it was time 4 the bday dessert, the young waiter came out w/a tray of cake & just started passing it out, only for him to come back and take most of them away (even from the kids) because again wrong table! When the checks came - holy hell was our response. Charges 4 the kids is $11.99 a plate ea (1 of the children just had wings & the other was the out of stock cheeseburger. Oh, their drink was separate). The sliders that given 2 one if the children was at the charge of an adults!! Plus we were be charged 4 the incorrect items from earlier. Waitress was trying 2 tell us no way to compensate the sliders meal 4 the out of stock kids cheeseburger & needs 2b charged at an adult price not the kids. Yes we got the manager & got everything squaresd away. Thank goodness there was no alcohol involved!!! Something else 2 keep in mind, even though the all ya can eat wings have different flavors, the appetizer of wings only have 2 flavors "spicy hot or mild", it was discovered later that they really mean bbq mild or very mild hot sauce. My family and I came out for the fun games and prizes. We decided to grab some food to take a break from the games. Unfortunately more than half of our food was excessively salted. The truffle fries, fried pickles, & lemon chicken wings were the worse. We went through at least 2 cups of water each just trying to get through these appetizers. On top of that bad experience, there was only one soap dispenser working in the women's restroom, 3 clogged toilets, & 1 toilet was constantly flushing itself. We've been here many times, sometimes once a week, but to be honest, game play is too expensive when you have more than one kid. You have to consider the additional cost for food and drinks. Game play card package should allow you to purchase different value amounts in order for people to really save money (I mean they are supposed to be a "value" package) Went Saturday and only "Game Day" menu available. I was really looking forward to the chimichurri bowl! To management, please repair your locks in restroom stalls, and clean them more often. Locks have been broken since summer time. I'm not one to leave negative comments/reviews but my visit today was not the bees knees. I went with family to get out of the house and play some games. We spent close to $100 and had fun playing. We enjoyed the variety of games and felt that we made out pretty fairly good tickets wise. However, the dinner part of the trip was not up to par. I had to first track down an employee just to ask if we were able to sit down anywhere, or if we had to wait to be seated. I was told it was open seating and a server would find us. We sat close to the bar, but unfortunately, we spent about 15 minutes at the table and not one server even came our way. We decided to get up to go someplace else to eat instead. But first we went to go claim some prizes from our winnings. We walked past the bar and found all the employees standing around talking to each other. Mind you, it was still fairly early in the evening, and the restaurant side was pretty quite but I feel that they could have better kept an eye out for those who were there to eat. Absolutely worst service worst time and biggest ripoff we have encountered as a family in a long time. we took the kids here for an all day eat and play day The package we bought said unlimited video games and instead only a few games that were included in the package so we wound up buying two more packages so the kids could play all the games . instead of refunding us for the original initial packages they said we would have to pay for a both. Not enough wait staff. No refills on drinks or all you can eat wings. It was horrible. 10 other families sitting around us experiencing the same. We spent 150 dollars plus that day. Horrible service.
