Word of advice! Eat somewhere else before you come play games here!!! The service here is below average. I'm not saying that our server was rude, she was actually quite nice but that didn't make up for the fact for everything that took place that night. Our beers took 10 minutes to get to our table, she couldn't remember drinks that were ordered and had to come back and ask. (just write it down and you won't have that issue) After ordering our food, we waited for quite some time before the first plate came out which was chicken and ribs. My friend started eating and eating and eating, and still our food wasn't out. He was over HALFWAY done before the rest of the food came out. And to top it off, the BLT turkey burger that i ordered came out as a avocado turkey sandwich. I didn't care because I was too hungry to send it back. It was a good sandwich, i'll give them that. We ordered a second round of drinks which took anywhere from 6-10 minutes again to get to our table. I understand there are things that the server can't control, like when the food comes out or if the bartender makes the drinks quickly. The food isn't even as good as an applebees, the people are rude/loud/obnoxious/drunk, the service is SSSSSLLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWW, and the games are either broken, off, or boring. I didn't enjoy my experience here, it was severely lacking. I would have preferred to end up at another restaurant... or even just have stayed home. Our waitress was for lack of a better work, a complete bitch. Look hunny, if you hate your job than get a new one, but don't you dare take out your menstrual angst on my friends and I. As far as the food goes, it is pretty average for the most part. I DO like the pretzel dogs the best. The big problem is the service. I understand when it is busy things can get hectic, but I have been here before when it was twice as busy and still got better service. When the food came out, everyone got theirs except for me. It took the server 20 minutes to figure out that they forgot to put my order in, and then probably another 20 to get me my food, by which point the rest of my party was pretty much done eating, so I felt really awkward. To top it off, they didn't even offer to make it right by giving me a discount or even some free game credits or SOMETHING. Not to mention the fact that we were there for a friends birthday party, and they don't do ANYTHING for birthdays, no dessert, NOTHING! Wouldn't you think that a place like this would do at least SOMETHING for a birthday?!?!?! Of course, not many go to D & B for the food, it is more about the games and drinks. Drinks are pretty good, although can be pricey if you get some of the specialty drinks. You can also spend a good amount of money on games in a short period of time. All of the reviews of Dave and Buster's were so negative that I was almost embarrassed to admit that I really enjoy this place. The boy and I don't drink, so it's pretty hard to find fun places to go hang out late in the night. But D&B's fufills our requirements of decent food, fun stuff to do and not horribly expensive. You can join a club that always sends you coupons, and we always use ours. The best thing about this place is the game Super Trivia. It's like a game show where six people sit in front of three buttons and try to answer questions as fast as they can. They are on several different topics and if you like to play trivia, it's about as good as it gets. And also, like a small child, I like to buy useless junk in the little store. And some of the junk actually is useful! I got a food processor that actually does a decent job of chopping onions without me tearing up. read more

As I was sitting there, three female staff stood at the edge of the bar talking about how one of them had a choke hold on someone while they were throwing them around and swearing at them. The place is basically chucky cheese grown up version. They do very much cater to kids too but instead of having really lame pizza they have 4 star menu food at 5 star menu prices. the place is big and full of cool dark wood. such a nice building :) The bartender/waiter dude that served us couldnt have been more nicer or more helpful. The arcade area has arcade video games for young and old people alike. They also have many skill games to win tickets that you can exchange for cutsey prizes. Made a family stop at Dave & Buster's. Myself along with my wife and three teens and had no troubles with atmosphere, wait staff, food or any thing. Prices were comparable to surrounding restaurants. Everything here seems to be overpriced (food and "tokens") and staff seemed overworked and undercompensated. It showed in their service. There was an OK selection of games and we stayed away from the bar and food simply because the pricing. I had given this place 3 stars but after this never coming back and zero stars . We came with a big group for my son's birthday . We were seated first waitress took drink orders that was cool. Then we got a new waitress she was not writing any of our orders down and just said ok after everything. After waiting almost an hour we were told she up and quit? Are orders were never put in. Eesh! The manager of this place should be fired. There staff has not been trained properly or has turned over so many times that they are clueless. Not only does every review say that the service is horrible, IT IS! We got to the location around 4 pm with a party if 10. We called ahead but were told that they don't take reservations. We sat and waited for almost 30 minutes while the dining room was more than half empty. Well over 50 empty seats. We were told they were changing shifts. Ordered and chicken tortilla soup came out with no tortillas, to which we were told that they were out and the manager went to the store to get some. Meals came out and no plain cheeseburger. They were nice enough to reorder and comp it. Sitting here writing this review as we are done eating and it still is not out! How do you give a ZERO?! My family and I visited D&B to have some fun in the arcade. The signs all around the store said we would get 50% more for our money if we downloaded the app and purchased on the phone. Wow...great deal right? WRONG After 30 minutes of not being able to get the app to work we approach a woman who took my phone from my hand and started pushing buttons. Who does that!? She kept saying try again, try again. She rudely claimed there was nothing wrong with the app and that nobody but us were having and issue and had a very bad attitude like we were doing something wrong. We asked her to honor the deal on a card since it was not working but she refused and said it was our phones (we were trying on multiple phones) and not her fault. Shortly after, everyone was complaining of the same issues and they said sorry the app is down. I checked my bank account and I was charged $41.00. My daughter has been charged 4 times for a total in excess of $250.00. We showed them that and they refused to refund us or give us the points on a card. We asked for the manager who also refused to give me my money, an equivalent credit on a card or honor the deal. Obviously customer service is not your game, fraud is. We still have not received credit for what we were charged and did not receive. The lies and excuses by your rude and unresponsive staff is unacceptable. Any reputable business would have honored the deal when they were unable to provide it within the terms. It is called business ethics, good customer service and the right thing to do! Let's start with the food, nothing here that is going to "blow your socks off" the food was average, but good. We went on Taco Tuesday where they dish out tacos for a buck a piece. I cannot speak for the flavor/quality of said tacos but I can say that they were served without sour cream or salsa and looked rather plain, to be honest a few sides of these dressings would have been nice to see without special request. I had the chicken quesadilla which was good, again, nothing mind blowing, but good. I was surprised to find jalapeno slices in mine which added a nice kick to it. Moving on...the beer selection leaves something to be desired at best, you will find all of your typical imports and domestics but very few craft beers to cater to beer snobs such as myself. I realize that not every establishment need to be a dang microbrewery but it would be nice to see more than 1 IPA and maybe a few more stouts on the menu. Aside from beer you will find a wide range of very interesting drinks, if fruity drinks are your thing, then you will like what they have to offer. Let's talk service, truth be told the service here is far below par. A friend and I were waiting for our party at the front entrance, we were passed by several employees including managers without so much as a hello, granted, this seems to be a seat yourself type of place but it was pretty clear that we were unsure how things worked and a little customer service could have gone a long way. Our server was also very forgetful when it came to our drinks, even had to go to the bar to order because we got sick of waiting. The food is as expected for a bar and pricing. My disappointment was during the gameplay in the arcade. There were two games which were lit up green (if the card scanner is green this means the game is on for play) and when I used the card it took my points to play but did not allow me to play the game itself. There was also a shooting game with which I played with three other people only to find out my gun didn't actually shoot anything during the gameplay so I could not participate. I know I'm too old for this stuff.... So, we were at a Bachelorette Party at the mecca that is Dave and Buster's. Now, it's not your typical place for a party like that, but like Ashley F. the bride does not drink. We met here around 6:30 on a recent Saturday night. We were quoted an hour for a table for 12, but only waited less than 30. We were seated up by the pool tables in a kind of separate area. I found out after I banged my leg, it was actually another pool table with a cover on it. Our server Angella was very good. I was actually surprised at how pleasant and accommodating she was for all of us. I certainly couldn't work a party where everyone wanted food, drinks, game cards, desserts, and separate checks. I'd lose my mind! For food I had the Boss Chicken Club, bacon on the side and up-charged Sweet Potato Fries. The sandwich came and it was huge - a nicely grilled chicken breasts with a Laughing Cow like spread, avocado, lettuce, tomato and fried onion things on a wheat bun. I was shocked at how good the food was. My sandwich automatically came with fries, but I subbed sweet potato for only $.49, which made my sandwich $9.29, was reasonable. Now, on to the fun. I had been to D&B about 5 years ago, so I have no idea where my Power Card was, so I had to get another one. The games are actually really fun. It reminded me of the old Circus Pizza from when I was a kid. My favorites were the horse came where you roll the ball in and the Deal or No Deal game. I found out I'm not as good at Skeeball as I once was. Everyone in the party had a great time, even my mom! We left with our loot from our winnings 6 hours after we arrived. Angella let us keep any tabs open we wanted to and keep the table as home base all night long. The shockingly good food, the pleasant service, the fun games, and the reasonable prices will have me going back. I'm not sure I would go during cold and flu season though - lots of community stuff to touch and kids running wild. read more

They were 45 minutes late on our reservation (that we made 5 hours in advance) and assigned one poor guy (who will not see any tip beyond the already imposed gratuity) to handle 20 people. Be sure to watch out for machines that are empty of tickets (see below for usefulness of tickets). Make sure to people watch - there is nothing better than watching people focus as they shoot Aliens with fake guns or try to hit fish with a polar bear's bat. But the best is to watch those future dejected gambler types who are going convinced they will maximize their tickets if they hoard "the only good" coin drop machine. Walk out with worthless token: People take the ticket store a bit too seriously. Whenever I enter, I feel like I'm a 7 yr old who was given $2.50 and told to go wild in the Dollar Tree. She cannot make eye contact or acknowledge we are even sitting here. With the limited seating, due to COVID, it is apparent she sees us but is unable to say hello or multitask. ****THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL**** I can't even begin to name anything GOOD about this place. First of all, we got our tokens on a card. Ok, fine, IF every machine you went to actually worked and didn't eat all of your tokens due to equipment that didn't even work. On practically every game we were over charged, mostly because the rules on how to play were not even made clear. The employees were of no help and even seemed annoyed that we asked them what and why their equipment was malfunctioning. Example, one guy even implied that we were lucky to to have even received his help. Overall this place is a big money pit with zero return on your investment. Be sure to come with good company or risk leaving more annoyed than when you arrived. The only reason this gets one star is because Yelp will not let you put zero stars. This place is like a casino for kids. Most games are payouts for their tickets in order to get cheap items in their prize store. Perhaps it's taste, but 90% of the games I had little interest in. My kids had an opportunity to play whatever they want, and they were having a tough time on choosing what to spend their credits on. We left with lots of credits still left in all of our cards. So basically the place is kind of like Chuck e cheese but with both an adult and kid fare. They are up-to date on the games kids of today like to play but also some of the classics ( a pacman game and a donkey kong duo) different kinds of skee ball and games of chance. If you are a first timer they could do a little more to help a person understand how the power cards work. (This from someone who has worked at Circus pizza before) but finally with a couple of workers I got it figured out. The games can be spendy, and they work on a so many tokens per game. There are games that give you prize tickets and some that don't. One of the great features of the cards is that you can not only see your token balance but also your tickets received balance directly on the card. Great selection of games. Food was more suited to a high class restaurant than to a kids place. I tried the grilled 3 cheese sticks which is a grilled cheese sandwich cut into sticks (the cheeses are manchego, cheddar and mozzarella) good but slightly greasy understandable as it is grilled. Priced at $11.29 I did find it slightly on the expensive side, especially for an appetizer. Also ordered the bang bang spicy thai chicken which was very good, it was spicy but our Server Chris did bring me some teriyaki sauce that I requested as a tone downer and it worked great. For the portion I received the price of 12.99 was appropriate. My brother ordered a ny strip garlic mashed potatoes. They prepared it to his request and it was priced at 19.99. For the ambience the place is great. I was there on half price night and it wasn't crowded. Have not tried it on a busy night. All in all the place is nice. Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Waitress was quick to arrive. Problems: ordered a Skinny Margarita on the rocks, specifically asked for salt on the rim...it arrived with no salt..tasted ok, but for $8 I expect you to remember the salt and add all the garnishes. My husband got the Million dollar margarita...disappointing taste for $10... no lime wedge, but at least they remembered the salt for his. My son got a $5 glowing snow cone drink with added gummy worms. They forgot the gummy worms, but at least they brought some over after the fact. Husband's burger was "not good" I ordered the one soup on the menu labeled as vegetarian, and a salad. Soup arrived, took two bites and bit into meat. Manager came out to apologize and explained the the soup is vegetarian, but is kept next to the chili and bits of it may have fallen in. Voted best place in the metro for bad service and cold food... Arrived on a non-busy weekday with plenty of open seating available. After ordering we had about a 45 min wait for our food to arrive. It isn't so bad for the kids to go play but a tad annoying for the hungry adults left at the table. Waiter was just OK- for some reason he apologized after every request we made (can we get more napkins? Oh, I'm sorry yes- a refill please, sorry yes- side of mayonnaise , I'm sorry I'll go get it.) I mean nothing was wrong, we just asked for the basics- no apology was necessary. After the food was finally delivered it was ICE cold. No apology this time though...and all of a sudden, no more waiter coming to the table. When I asked the next uniformed person who walked by for some hot fries and tater tots I got the most disgusted look, apparently fresh food is an inconvenience here. The main courses were also cold but I didn't want to have to wait another 45 min to eat so it was choked down. Oddly I was asked how I wanted my burger done, which didn't really matter as it was burned to a crisp anyway. Maybe they were just taking a survey. Adult prices for kids drinks are a little outrageous as well. We'll most likely never be returning. At $55 for 3 meals, I would expect a decent (even warm) meal served without the attitude.
