Recently came to Dave & Busters for the first time since I'd been in high school (so like 15 years) and was happy to find that it's still just as fun as I remember. I was really happy to see that although there are a ton of newer games with big flashing screens and insanely real graphics, they still have the classics like skee-ball and the basketball game. Employees here were helpful and in good spirits. The food was pretty decent, I appreciated the different wing flavors, the sliders tasted high quality as well. Drinks were pretty strong too which was surprising, I'm a sucker for a margarita and D&B makes a solid one. I had the most fun doing the human crane game - I wish I'd known that you can only take one inflatable per person, but also kind of glad I didn't because I took this game so seriously and emerged with like 8 inflatables under my arms as if I were on a gameshow. It's definitely pricey to go here, but also it's literally Times Square so you get what you get. read more

Always looking for some fun entertainment and Dave and busters is the closest place in midtown where I can find. There are a lot of promotions and games to play but sadly the amount of people to game ratio is bad, a lot of waiting on line to get a turn and getting gifts from the coupons you get isn't worth it either, the coin/card machines kept freezing so staff had to constantly be called to fix, but it is fun to play to pass the time when you come with groups of 2+ (when you don't have to wait on line for your turn) and if your hungry the food is ok, nothing special. read more

You're never too old to go to an arcade. Until they open a casino in times square, this will be the next best thing. If you have good reflexes, you should be able to get a lot of tickets. Unfortunately, the house always wins, and it's almost impossible to win prizes worth more than the swipes you spend per game. They have pokemon card bundles here, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. I opened a couple (even the largest pack bundle) and barely got some uncommon reverse holos. I shoulda kept em sealed!Maybe I'll get the shot glasses next time. If you are lazy and want to host a party here, you don't really need to reserve anything unless you want a private room or soda kegs. The food is alright and beer is market price. They have an unlimited card option for one hour, which is great for DDR, but there's a cap on tickets if you plan on winning any prizes. They also have some interactive team game to jump on tiles that light up and a human crane game. Wish they had labubus in the claw machine. read more

We booked a table to watch the UFC fights on Saturday night. They have plenty of TVs. When we arrived, they sat us in front of one that wasn't currently showing what we came for, and it took them 20-ish minutes to switch it over. By the time the main fights were on, almost every TV was playing UFC. Service was great. Food was okay. Of the two finger foods we ordered (Philly egg rolls and boneless wings), they were mildly overcooked, dry, and overpriced. You're paying for the space, not the food. read more

We stopped in on a cold, windy day recently to play some games. Convenient walking distance from Times Square, this location is huge inside. They have a variety of games, food, and drinks. We were thankful to be out of the cold for a little bit and they have a coat room. A few of the games weren't working, but we were able to play most of them. After we had our fill of games, we went to the bar area for happy hour. The $5 22oz beers were cold and refreshing. They have a few other drink specials on happy hour for $5-7. They also have a 10 wings for $10 special. Hard to beat those prices, especially so close to Times Square. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for fun and a decent happy hour. read more

I haven't been to Dave & Buster's in a VERY long time and I'm so glad I went as an adult. I came for a company event and I really have to say that my company outdid themselves with the venue for the event, Happy Hours simply cannot compare. Here are some of my observations: - The place is quite small compared to other Dave & Buster's I have been to but they really have everything you ever need here. - I loved the VR Godzilla game, it was so amazing that the seats moved with the game and the game was beautifully written and designed. This felt super high tech to me and makes me really want to go to a dedicated VR room. - The Jurassic Park shooting game was also fantastic as you really felt like you were in the arena itself. - The food was fairly mediocre but honestly better than what I had expected. I think my favorite item was the pig in the blanket. - The ticket redeeming room was organized quite well and I was suprised to see the types of prizes you could get. Of course there's the usual junk like cheap slime and random plastic games but they had higher quality prizes than what we had growing up. Overall would recommend coming to Dave & Buster's especially for a corporate event! read more

Luckily on Tuesday the place wasnt that busy and the manager Jeremy and the bartender took care of me very well. I had two orders of Buffalo wings and three long iced teas. The food was anything you would expect from a Dave N Busters. It was slightly stiff and tasted as if it had been frozen and then thawed for people to eat. It is a pretty good bite after you've played and you are winding down. The service is pretty nice, they are attentive and fixing games. The workers can be seen standing guard and they are kid friendly. The Ambiance is fine. Kids having fun and they have private rooms for parties and it is a very large place. It is on the third floor of the building if you have issues finding it. read more

The arcade itself is great. fun atmosphere, it's a great place to hang out with family and friends. I would say this is one of the much nicer dave & busters in the area compared to the other ones. this location is pretty big, they have a great game variety, and they allow you to exchange tickets for food which is great! (not all locations do). The food is okay, the pizza and pigs in a blanket are good, on the better side of their options. everything else has not tasted good. the burger is probably my least favorite here. As for the cocktails, they taste great! Service wise, 90% the service is not good. the employees often look at you when you're waiting and choose not to come and help or take your order. every time i've been there except once, the employees are just avoiding customers and talking to their friends and coworkers. It has taken over 15 minutes before for my order to be taken even when there were over 3 employees working and making eye contact with us. There was one single time that has been so so memorable because there was a man working behind the bar and he was doing his job absolutely perfectly. he was very observant and quick to talk to all customers, take the order and would immediately make any and all drinks. my group and I were genuinely amazed because it was so different than what we are used to at dave & busters. he was the only one working at the time too which made it more impressive. Overall, my experience at the arcade itself has been nice & enjoyable. Service wise, 2/5 (but that one day was a 5/5 with service). Last time I visited this place was back in 2018, food was amazing and the service as well. Today, I was told to wait 20 minutes for a table but after like 3 minutes, they told me it was ready. We were waiting for like 10 minutes for a server to show up but a manager show up to our table to asked us how we were doing and I explained the situation. His name is Jose, very great guy, he took our order, he apologized and immediately a server approached and within 4 minutes our drinks were in the table. Jose was very friendly and kept coming back to check how we were doing. He gave us a gift for the incident and it made our night even better since it was my sister's birthday. The server was great, my sister was very happy, I obviously tipped the server about $55 for the amazing job that he did after the early inconvenience. Walked an hour just for it to be 21+. Why are alcoholic adults ruining arcades. Genuinely ridiculous that they ID you to get in. Also the rule that if you're under 21 you need someone who's at least 25 is excessive too because why can't it be someone who's just over 21? Plus that makes it easier for minors to get alcohol anyway if they have someone who can buy it for them. read more

Bad service. I was using an extra chair for our coats, there were only 3 of us plus that vacant chair. Not a lot of customers on Saturday lunchtime, and the black lady( not our waiter) said, I use a lot of chairs and kept yapping about it. She said she couldn't walk pass us but obviously, she could just go around and walk to where she intended to go. She just wants to be rude, and make me feel miserable about the state of unhappiness she is in while working there. I just said, you can tell me nicely, that she doesn't need to be rude. Literally I had an amazing experience! I came in on a Friday with my daughter, our waiter Jordan was truly amazing and attentive ! So really quick back story !! My daughter and I finished eating and were ready to play... after we played our FIRST game I lost not only my iPhone but my daughters phone too since I had them both together... I was losing my mind and it almost ruined the whole night... came up to the manager after trying to find it and no luck.. he goes "follow me " " wait here"..... he walks out of the back with my two phones and asked 'are these your phones' INSTANT SMILE ON MY FACE I COULD'VE HUGGED HIM !! " yea someone handed it to me and said I think someone lost their phones" Thank you to whoever found it and turned it in to management !! But what I got on my last visit was a nasty side of entitlement, disrespect, and a waitress who clearly confused my patronage for obligation. Let's paint the picture: After being literally chased by a disturbed EDP into the building (yes, chased--you can't make this up), my friend and I sat down trying to regain our nerves and just enjoy a meal. I wasn't even hungry anymore from the sheer stress, but we ordered anyway because we deserved some kind of peace. Our waitress was fine at first--attentive, efficient, no issues... until it came time to pay. My bill was $46 and change. I politely adjusted the preset tip option from 18% to a custom amount and left her a $5 tip. Why? Because I've recently been laid off. I explained this to her respectfully. I didn't short her out of spite--I was honest and still gave what I could. Her response? "You're messing with my money." Excuse me??? Miss ma'am, let me educate you. That money isn't yours until I give it to you. The tip is earned, not entitled. And I was still kind enough to tip despite my circumstances. But then, she had the unmitigated gall to follow it up with: "Why are you always in here anyway?" Oh. So now we're shaming repeat customers for being loyal? Ma'am, are you confused? If I'm always here, I'm helping you get money--until now, apparently. That halo of mine slipped all the way off in that moment, because the disrespect was loud, wrong, and uncalled for. This isn't just about bad service--it's about the culture of entitlement that some of your staff clearly walk around with. It left such a bitter taste in my mouth that I've been stewing on it since that night. And let's be very clear: if I ever return and she so much as breathes sideways again, she will be receiving a tip of $0.00 and a spiritual reminder that grace does not equal gullibility. I don't come to Dave & Buster's to be interrogated, insulted, or shamed for budgeting. I come to eat, unwind, and spend time with my people. Don't ask why, but a group of us went to Dave & Buster's for a pre-theater dinner. Not surprisingly, the atmosphere is loud and there are flashy screens starring down on you from all angles. Plus, it was cold in the bar area (despite being on the third floor, we seemed to still get cold air from the outside). That said, the service was extremely friendly and the food was surprisingly good. I enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwich, fried pickles, and boneless chicken wings (with honey BBQ). The protein bowl was only ok; I think I wanted it to be a salad. read more

One thing about D&B is that the kids will run out of points on their cards faster than you can blink your eyes. So I usually tell them don't use the card all in once place! The food was great! I asked for the strongest drink and the waiter recommended any of the Long Island Iced Tea which makes sense because of all of the liquors that are used. Well, it was more sweet than strong but it did taste really nice and sour. I got the Caribbean Luxe Long Island Iced Tea. My friends and I shared a big platter of nachos. It was really good! Food (2/5): I definitely would not recommend the food here. The burger we ordered was extremely salty and tasted not so good. Additionally the truffle fries that came with it was also very salty and soggy. The tenders we got were not crispy and lacked good flavor. The Cobb salad was the only thing that was somewhat decent but they drenched an excessive amount of dressing. It's edible and the portions will fill you up but not quality food. Venue (3/5): Overall this has a large selection of games and lots of space, but be warned that some of the games are broken and will take your money without working. For example, the Axe Throwing game took our money and the conveyor belt stopped functioning and bringing the axes back. The Pac-Man game had several broken controllers that weren't responding well. Also, the ring toss game didn't reset properly. These broken machines ruins the experience to a degree. Service (2/5): While the servers were mostly helpful, they didn't check up frequently nor acted particularly friendly. Additionally, at the gaming area we had a similar experience where when a machine broke someone eventually helped but they didn't seem to enjoy working there. This place was pretty small and full of game hogs. There were games we wanted to play but the same kids were on the same game for over an hour. There was also kids standing on top of the basketball hoop game and their parents were just standing there letting them get away with it. When we tried playing with the game the balls wouldn't come out. So we had to call over a tech to fix it. Just a bit too rowdy and guests being disrespectful to each other and the equipment. read more

Dave & Busters is like gambling for children, but it's really fun. I ended up purchasing a $28 card at first which gave me around 100 credits to play games. The games were fun and fair. None of them seemed like they were rigged although the ski ball machine kept giving me the ball back after the game was over. It was fun to keep practicing my shots, though. I ended up refilling my card with $25 which gave me a lot more credits. I didn't think I would be able to get anything that good with my credits at the end of the day but I got some exfoliating socks, a Pokemon Pez dispenser, and some carnival prizes. Overall I wouldn't spend around $50 on those things, but alongside the prizes, you get the experience of playing fun games in an air-conditioned room in the hot summer with friends, which in my opinion makes it all more than worth it. read more

A lot of the times I have visited Dave and Busters throughout the country (my son LOVES arcades), their games are out of order. Almost all the games here were working and in service. However, it is on the small side compared to other Dave and Busters but considering it is in New York City and EVERYTHING is compacted it did what it needed to do. This location is very near Times Square. We had a great time here. We did not get any food service, we just played in the arcade. I would imagine there are cooler arcade in New York City; however, as tourists we chose the prime location of Times Square and enjoyed ourselves. There is a parking structure nearby where we parked. The structure is about $40-50 under two hours. read more
