After reading the reviews, my expectations were pretty low. Especially considering the fact that one Yelper went so far as to say it was horrendous. I decided one something that I could easily cover up the taste so I ordered the make your own steak tacos. I must say that I was somewhat surprised. While the steak wasn't great and it was a bit overcooked, it wasn't bad. The cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce, and black beans didn't hurt. It's on par with some of the Mexican restaurants around town. My wife really enjoyed the citrus flavored rice. While the food doesn't compare to that of a good restaurant, it's not bad especially for an arcade. This is the type of place that I only go to with a group friends and usually for a birthday party. This is my third or fourth time here but it's been over a year since my last visit so I really couldn't remember what the food tasted like. Considering that the food is much better than Family Fun Center and the games are fun, I will likely go back again. read more

Come here for the games, not the food! The games are pretty fun, and the prizes they have are pretty cool too. You will probably spend more money than you expect to though, I always do! I have been here a few times but my most recent trip was a couple months ago with hubby for a date night. We started with drinks, I tried the original "snow cone" because the server said it tastes like bubble gum. IT DOES NOT. It tastes like uv blue, gross. I would never buy this drink again. It was mostly ice, which is pretty obvious when being called a snow cone. It gave me a nice little buzz though. Hubby had the original coronarita. He liked it a lot. I didn't taste it. We also had spinach cheese dip, which was very tasty. After that we went and played some games. There were suprisingly quite a few kids out pretty late, but mostly fellow adults letting out their inner kid. Very fun place to be. We spent about 75 bucks on games alone and that lasted about 2 hours, we then traded in our tickets for a couple things and headed to the bar to order some mozzarella sticks. The bar tender looked busy when we first sat down, so we waited patiently until she got done making everyone's drinks. Then she just started cleaning the area up a bit, spacing off, looking at us then looking away.. Didnt say one word to us. So we waived down a waiter. We finally got our mozzarella sticks and they were gross. I will say that on our first trip ever we tried Philly cheese steak roll things and they were nasty. Tasted like processed cheese. I also had chicken Alfredo that trip, nasty as well. Watery, flavorless sauce that didn't even stick to the noodles. Bleh. So stick to the games, try a drink, and get the spinach dip! read more

Arrived after being told that I can call in 30 minutes before hand to make my wait time less. I called and they said ok. I arrived and that had not yet put me in the wait list so my large party of 20 had to be put at the back of the list. Not impressed with the service so far. I have gone to other Dave & Busters location. This one is definitely very small. A lot of their machines weren't working. There was no space to sit when I went on the weekend all the tables were full or reserved. Please pick a different location a much bigger location please Omaha is huge and we need more entertainment space. read more

The front receptionist took my order over the phone, but was not accurate in his description of my order. When I arrived at D&B I discovered this error and brought to the attention of the manager. Lots of fun games and wonderful prizes that are actually worth it. However the service is not so great. Throughout the whole duration of our meal the server only came over 3 times; greet us, take our order, and then brought the check. We had to keep grabbing different people for items we needed. I'll first tell you this place is cool inside (by which I mean they keep it about 60 degrees and we froze are butts off all during dinner even after asking them to adjust). But the machines and the new cards are the bomb. Tons of fun. Kids loved it. Now some details: 4 adults 1 child (no booze) $125.00 not including tip. $20 in game play cards (some come with meals) last a 10 year old under 45 minutes. They don't put salt on the table for some god knows why reason. The service was very slow and response time for requests was painfully long. First and foremost, half of the place is the arcade for kids. Remember the old Chuck E Cheez or WC Franks? It's for kids, and adults will not like the noise if near it. However, a good portion of the rest is party rooms and restaurant, with a full service bar between the two. The food is fair to good, though I have had undercooked meals here in the past. Refilling of drinks can be slow. I suggest either the peppercorn steaks or the Mac N Cheese (includes bacon & chicken). Also has the most affordable fondue desert in town. read more

I was there Saturday evening. Got hurt in the bathroom caused by the inch of water on the floor caused me to slip and now my back hurts. Came out and told a manager. He had a mop bucket. He said he would be right back. Then about 10 minutes another manager came and took my name and phone number asked what happened. Gave him all my information and he said I would receive a call. Do not, I repeat DO NOT, book a birthday party with Dave and Buster's. The event staff is terribly, purposely unclear about what you're getting. They make you think you're getting a deal, then offer add-ons as if they're a great value, and before long they've nickel and dimed you up to three times your intention of spending. We held my son's birthday party here last week. The event person, Angel, never made it clear that we would be in a shared space, so the party was held in the middle of the restaurant. She told me I could give her a final headcount on Friday, which I did, but she overcharged us for three cards that we didn't end up using -- thinking we could get a refund on them since it was her error and we intentionally didn't use them -- and they wouldn't comply. She actually yelled at me, the customer, on the phone, in addition to interrupting me, acting rudely, not calling when she said she was going to, and generally passing the buck on me, the paying customer. There are so many friendlier, more fun event spaces in Omaha for a child's birthday. Look elsewhere. Dave and Buster's just is NOT worth the hassle. Today's experience earns a four star review. Great service this time. Our waiter Charles was excellent and attentive. (Nice ink too.) Not too pushy about the specials. The manager Brian checked in. The food was good. I had buffalo chicken and my son had the pretzel dogs. Charles talked us into chocolate cake for dessert. Only a sit down restaurant can earn 5 starts. 7/31/22: This was an incredibly disappointing visit. When I first walk in the hostess did not seem very enthusiastic. The waiter we had was very very nice and tried very hard. However, the blended milkshake was not available because the blender doesn't work. The fish and chips were not available because they were out. I found out the night before most of the menu items were unavailable. So we basically asked what was still available. The waiter gave us good recommendations and apologized. I wanted to load my cards. So I asked the hostess for the Guest wi-fi to download the app since, for some reason, my phone, though having bars, wouldn't receive data. She tells me that it isn't for customers. So I asked someone else, and they gave me the password. The Hawaiian Chicken was about the only thing that tasted pretty good. The flatbread pepperoni was what you'd expect from kid's kind of pizza place. It wasn't bad but also wasn't amazing. Disappointed in the ribeye. Seasoning was like someone didn't know how to cook and dumped what they had on the shelf on it. I get rare steaks. So it doesn't take much to make it right. Then when I went to the car to put the left over food up so we could play games, the right rear window was broken out and just a fanny pack was stolen from the back seat. I walked back in and asked the manager if they had security cameras outside. He said that Dave & Buster's does not; however, he gave me the email address of the property owner because the parking lot or that area is private property. The police didn't come by but gave us a police report. Then someone in a gray Ford Escort drives by, parks in the fire lane, and starts using the F-word towards our direction in front of our 9 year old. She starts crying and being upset. We get home, and she can't understand why someone would do that. She can't sleep. Overall, I would not recommend this location. Perhaps the area is not a great area, or there was a series of unfortunate events. Whatever the case, out of living in Georgia, Philly, NYC, Connecticut, NOLA, Colorado, St. Louis, and now Omaha this is the first time I've ever had a car broken into. First, I was not really expecting the food to be high quality, however, it was delicious. I had the fish and chips (I chose the fries) and it was wonderful. Everyone else at the table really enjoyed their entree as well. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food prices were in the middle range. Second, we made our way to the games. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit exactly how much time we spent in that area. We played a ton of games of all varieties and since we were there on a Sunday, we got a special deal...awesome! They promoted charging a cover charge to watch the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight in their restaurant/bar area. Paid $30 for two tickets. Little did they say that they did not guarantee a seat nor a table. Manager told me the charge only guaranteed my entrance and not a chair. I politely asked for a refund and was denied. Our experience for my buddies birthday was very fun, Blare was amazing and took care of us all day and knew when we had plans to leave around 7. The new bartender that came in was rude and had no people at the bar but to he said me and another gentleman that we had to wait a few minutes, which is not a big deal as a bartender myself. But he was just looking through books on how to make a single drink, could have better training on that part. I went to close my tab with Blare and she was actually working waiting on customers while he was just cashing us out. He sat my change down for about 20seconds before he just grabbed it and said thank you. I said "wait, are you giving that tip to Blare?" He said we split everything and I said, you were rude to us and she took care of us the whole time. So so I asked for the change back that he took and tipped the proper person for the excellent service she provided. Please give a props to Blare, and hope she got to keep the tip she deserved. What a disappointment. First - we spent $40 for games for each kid and they went through it in less than 20 minutes. The games took way to many credits. Second - we had to wait for someone to clean off a table. A waiter took the dirty plates and glasses but never even wiped off the table. Third - it took the waiter 15 minutes to get us our drinks. By this time the kids were out of credits. Four - it took another 15 minutes to get our bill for four beers. The bill was over $20!!!! That is ridiculous! My husband and I decided to go to Dave and Busters on Tuesday 9/17/19 to celebrate my birthday. We had never been there so figured we would try it out for a fun night. We arrived at 6pm to take advantage of happy hour. It took 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress. Drinks and appetizer came out very quickly but then it took 30 minutes for our food order to be taken and after sitting for an an hour and 45 minutes we finally received our food. I would have been more understanding if it was busy but there were two other groups (of two people each) that she was waiting on. Instead of apologizing she kept making excuses like "I got slammed with a bunch of tables" and "I'm just trying to catch up". I understand the food industry can be stressful but it was not a good first experience at this restaurant. The food was good but service was probably the worst we have ever experienced EVER. We played games afterwards but the service really ruined our game time. Might be back in the future for the games but will never eat there again. read more

Dave and Busters? More like Rude and Expensive. I've been here a handful of times over the last 10 years. This last time will be my absolute last. They raised the games prices exorbitantly. The game options are lame. The games were broken and took our money over and over again with no play. Only one guy trying to run around like crazy fixing them all. He couldn't keep up. Rude employees. They have the game times so they ask for more 'tokens' after only 30 seconds even if you don't 'die'. If you swipe your card again the employees tell you to get off the game. It's an arcade so I expect it to be a money suck, but this is beyond ridiculous. My kids did not have fun. The ticket redeeming shop also ridiculously overpriced. I have been here a few times now. They have some really nice games but just recently took out the Daytona USA games. They have a cool VR(Virtual Reality) ride that looked really fun. Unfortunately nobody was around to get that ride running. I saw customers around the ride but no one to start it up. The food is pretty good there. Nothing to special. Later in the day is when it normally when it gets packed. Overall my experience was pretty good. I recently bought a Groupon deal that had a unlimited games package for 2 for $25. When I got there with my friend they gave us one card for the unlimited games and than another card for the actual ticket games. Games that were two players had time limits on it. We could swipe twice because of a 60 second time limit until you can swipe it again. We tried to talk to the manager and the person upfront and they still wouldn't give us another card. While my friend and I still played with one card it made our experience less than fun because we couldn't really play two person games. read more

Haven't been to a Dave n Busters in a long long time so we decided to check it out since we had my gf's niece and nephew. The food was ok and there were alot of options to choose from. We ordered the caveman combo and a pasta dish with steak. You can prob guess who got the caveman combo lol. The ribs that came with the caveman combo was actually pretty good. Meat fell off the bone and it had a lot of flavor. The sliders were ok...a bit on the greasy end. The pasta was decent though the steak was a bit overcooked so it was dry. We also ordered some adult snow cone drinks which came with glow cubes. We turned those off after a few mins cause it was distracting. The game side was a bit disappointing since some of the games we played were super short for how many points they cost to play. Most games were around the 6.8 point range. So that'll allow you to play about 8 of those games if you buy a $10 play card. So it's not cheap. We spent $25 and won almost 2000 points. We redeemed them for some knick knack items for the kiddos so they were happy. Overall, it's fun but I don't see myself going back in the near future. read more
