Dave's messed my order and I was waiting for 15 minutes. Asked for a refund and the guy gave it to me. He also told me to wait one more minute; the order was finishing. He even said I could leave if 60 seconds passed. I got my order. Really nice of him. He didn't have to go out of his way to do that but he still did. Whoever was manning the place on 4/17/2025 8pm, you're a real bro.

The company has really nice branding! However, I honestly am just not a big fan. Personally, I found the chicken to not be crispy and the spice levels to be more about heat than flavor. The fries are okay and their signature sauce is not bad. Sadly, I just don't think I'm the target market for their food.

Easy to get to spot in Boston for a quick bite. Came here on a weekend night and we didn't have to wait in a long line. People at the counter were nice. I got the #4 chicken slider with fries and medium heat. This hit the spot and was enjoyable. My friends loved their meals, especially the fries. Their sauce is so good, I took some home. In terms of ambiance, it just feels like a fast food spot, nothing really special.

The chicken here in any combination/form/spice level is juicy and delicious. Dave's sauce is a delicacy. One of my favorite chains with friendly & fast service!

Another fast food chain added to Downtown Boston... the chicken is crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. I really enjoyed their fries... Definitely order again if I am craving for fried chicken sandwich.

I heard the founder of the chain speak on the How I Built This podcast and I am totally impressed. Tenders are terrific, I ordered them at Hot level. The ambience is very casual with fast and friendly service.

I was excited to try out this new location since I have been to Dave's in Newton. I ordered online and got the #3 combo 1 slider and 1 tender. I checked in at the counter the server asked for my name and said it'd be out in 2 minutes. About 10 minutes have passed and I am still waiting for my order, while I see friends of workers coming in and getting orders before mine. The guy at the counter asked for my name again and said 2 minutes, but again I waited for much longer. I came here in the afternoon and there was only 1 other person who had got there order and left, so I'm not sure why it took so long. I ordered a medium slider and a mild chicken tender, but when I was eating I noticed the slider was not spicy and realized it was switched. The chicken was crispy and it definitely needs the sauce to add more flavor. The pickles were a good palate cleanser after eating all the fried food. Overall, an affordable meal near downtown Boston.

Dave's Hot Chicken is one of the best fast food place in Boston. The chicken was really tender and well seasoned. I got the hot and extra hot but the extra hot was a bit too spicy for me. I think if you are good with spices extra hot will be good but hot is good for people not too good with spicy food. The fries were also really seasoned well and it was amazing dipping it in Dave's sauce. The service was good and the place was spacious to seat large crowds. I really enjoyed the food and I will get food here again

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. Overall, this is a fantastic breakfast spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options.

Other than that I'd stop somewhere else for a brunch.

We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

For the food, we got the tuna kimbap, Seoul toppoki, and bulgogi hot pot for two. Everything was SO good. The ingredients were fresh and the food was flavorful (sweet from the bulgogi, savory from the mushrooms, spicy from the toppoki sauce, salty from the tuna, and sour from the pickled vegetables). The price for the portion size was a great value and we ended the night feeling very full and even had to pack up an entire container of the hotpot for two that we didn't finish. Overall, we had a great time and I can't wait to come back again. This might be my new favorite Korean food spot in the Boston area.

I'm so glad Uyghur cuisine has made its way to Boston…read more I was first introduced to it years ago at Silk Road in Cambridge, and I've been hoping more Uyghur restaurants would open ever since. Jahunger truly delivers. The restaurant immediately sets the mood. Candlelight, the scent of incense, traditional instruments on the walls, and pothos plants growing from mounted glass jars all make the space feel warm and inviting. One warning: unless you arrive around 6 p.m. or earlier, expect a wait. (It's popular.) Oh, and the food is worth it. The leek and egg dumplings tasted homemade in the best way: slightly rustic, fresh, and delicious. The hand-pulled noodles are the stars. Every noodle dish we ordered had the perfect chewy texture. My favorite was the Laghman noodles, though the Jahunger noodles were a close second with their rich spices and satisfying heat. The mee fen and stir-fried green beans both packed a respectable kick and leaned a little salty, but not enough to keep me from happily polishing them off. Don't forget the tea! It's beautiful to look at, filled with all sorts of ingredients (Chinese jujubes!), and only lightly sweet, which I appreciated. Then came the showstopping honey cake. The cake itself was fluffy, while the filling had a firmer, almost sticky texture with deep caramelized flavors that reminded me of burnt caramel in the best possible way. Paired with what tasted like coffee ice cream, it was the perfect ending to the meal. Jahunger is one of those restaurants that makes you want to come back before you've even paid the bill. I'm so glad Jahunger made it to Cambridge; the Boston food scene is richer because it's here.

We came in and the restaurant was filled with younger people who were hanging out. To start off we ordered lamb dumplings and scallion pancakes. I was familiar with both of these appetizers and they were the same as anywhere else. To eat, we ordered chicken stew. The waitress told us that one stew was spicy and the other was non spicy. We decided to order the non-spicy one since others were not big fans of spice. When we received the food it was very spicy. It was hard to eat and we did not enjoy it. The waitress came back and thought we wanted the spicy chicken stew which was incorrect. She apologized and wanted to switch it. At this point we were running late so it didn't matter. We just packed it and gave it to our family member who likes spice. This place was okay. I will have to come back here and give it another chance.

Sultan: The lamb was stewed for a long time until incredibly tender and melted in your mouth, with absolutely no gamey taste. Although it's called "sweet lamb", it didn't have a strong sweetness; instead, it had a typical mild, complex flavor of onions, cumin, coriander seeds, and other spices. The Yellow Rice was likely seasoned with turmeric and saffron, making it very flavorful. The basmati rice grains were distinct but not too dry, perfect for mixing with the sauce. The White Garlic Sauce wasn't overpowering; it mainly added a touch of acidity, which, along with the cool, sweet corn, helped to cut through the greasiness. Actually, it was completely different from any other Moroccan lamb stew I've had. It was more like Yemeni Mandi, but with more layers of flavor and a more universally appealing taste. As a fusion dish, how can it not be considered a success? This restaurant offered self-build options, but I was rushing to the World Cup Fan Festival and didn't even have time to look at the menu carefully. The staff quickly recommended dishes and adjusted the ingredients based on my preferences. Excellent service.

We decided to try this place out anyways, and I have mixed feelings. The food here is very good and presented well, especially when dining in. I ordered the Moroccan beef kebab plate and it was very tasty and portions were large, which made the price worth it in my opinion. The cleanliness and overall state of this restaurant is a bit concerning though, and I honestly wouldn't recommend to others. There were practically no clean tables for us to sit at, half-finished plates of food scattered around the entire place, improper food handling (not swapping gloves after touching various surfaces), and even witnessed one of the employees drinking a leftover smoothie drink directly from the blender (!!!!!). Normally these are things I wouldn't notice when dining at the restaurant, but given the layout of this place it was hard to miss. Eat here with caution!
