The badam sodheko had a very interesting flavour - the horseradish gave it a flavour unlike anything I've tasted before. It was a very heavy dish, especially for an appetizer, and I'm glad I had a dining partner to share it with. The tingmo shone because of the spicy tomato sauce. The sauce was bold, perfectly seasoned and light. We asked for a second serving of the sauce because we liked it so much. The bhatura was one of the crispiest bhaturas I have ever had the pleasure of trying - it paired especially well with the aloo from the thali. All the dishes in the thali were delicious, from the dal to the kheer. We received a complimentary gajar ka halva. It was incredibly creamy and decadent. The woman who served us was friendly and warm. She made sure we were well taken care of, and repeatedly checked in on us. The ambiance was simple but clean. This was one of my best meals in Chicago.
