The food here is literally unreal it's so good every time. The ambiance of this location is so creative and artistic, it makes you want to sit and eat your food here rather than to go. The service here is always wonderful. All of the employees are so kind. My boyfriend and I just came in today and the woman that took our order (Danue) was such a sweet person and made sure we got everything we needed. Well my son was looking forward to trying Dave's hot chicken and so we went last night but the service was poor, ( lady was rude) & it was $17.00 something with no drink .it was a small amount of chicken also . The big issue was as soon as my kids got home an hour later they both had stomach pains & diarrhea . Which today they still are having that so i think they got food poising . I like the concept, I may have come on a busy day, but I took 1 hour for my food to be ready and when it came I was a bit disappointed, I got mild just to be safe, but as expected it was mild, I wouldn't even say mild, it was a bit sweet. I like their sauce and I like the background of the restaurant, but it's also a bit to hip for me, or atleast it felt like, I am 16 but I have what you call an old soul, and I felt a bit overwhelmed by the noise and the colors. Also was a bit expensive, but I do have to keep in mind inflation and poultry prices. Over all a bit disappointed by the presentation of the food, the time it took, but it was overall good I am definitely going to go spicier if k go again which I probably will, hence me living a 40 minute walk away. read more

I've been to Daves in CA locations and I swear they changed the heat levels for AZ. I got 1 level below "hot" and it's like there was zero heat. I could taste some spices so they didn't forget to dip it, the sticker on the order matched what I requested. Just nothing as far as heat goes. It's odd because Angry Chicks did the same thing a month or so after opening. Maybe it's an AZ thing. Almost forgot, the cashier applying lip gloss almost the whole time she was taking my order was an odd touch. read more

New favorite place. Canes chicken was the best in the area but now this place takes the #1 spot for us. Always delicious, tender and juicy chicken. Love the size of the meals. Can't understand how someone can base less than a 5 star review because how busy this new location is or their stomach can't handle the heat/spice of the chicken. Amazing! Have been three times already and it is so good, fresh, crispy and not too spicy, just a lot of flavor! The slaw and sauce are unique and really make the sliders delicious. The fries are also seasoned and my favorite so far! Can't wait until my next visit! read more

I've gone two times, separate days and times. First time was around 10:30 p.m got two hot tenders w a side of fries, the tenders had a good flavor, But could tell they were a bit stale and not fresh. (They must of been sitting for a while) The second time was around 8 pm this time i got a slider and a sandwich combo (hot), again good flavor, but again my fries didn't come out fresh, almost cold. And my chicken wasn't fresh, maybe it's because they have a lot of people in at once and they make it batches, I'm not sure, but overall the customer service was good and the place is a vibe. We were there 40 mins and have no idea how the chicken tasted. The first bad sign was the large number of people waiting for their food; only two tables were eating (10-15 tables). We ordered and we figured we had to wait since all these people were still waiting. 20 minutes later, there was still no food but they were catching up with the orders. 30 mins we stopped the "acting manager" to ask what was the delay? He said the place has been open 11 days and the workers were all new, a total of 20 and only the best will be selected later. He said our order will be coming up soon. He never went into the kitchen to check. After much persistence, the order finally came out after 40 mins and it was the wrong order. They forgot our order. We just lost it, we requested for a refund and left, since we found out they were serving the people after us. Most people waited a minimum of 15-20 mins for their order. The place was packed and with 20 employees, it was still not enough or just lacked direction from the "acting manager". The staff was nice. Two concerning issues: 1. The chicken is sitting under flood lights on an open plate and if one falls off the plate may go onto a non-spicy plate ( there are 7 levels of spice). I could not tell which is which since it all looks the same, so I hope they can. You must sign a waiver if you choose the ultimate spice. I thought the long wait was due to custom orders but it has all been pre fried. 2. While the food was waiting to be picked up, other waiting customers were TALKING OVER THE PREPARED FOOD, picking up extra napkins, complaining if it was the right level of spice, hanging out socially: Many exchanges of hands over the food. There is also an open employee door to the kitchen where customers were walking in interrupting the employees for extra napkins or to go trays. There was one woman complaining 10 mins if she got the right spice over the prepared food and THREE works listening to her complaint while the food sat there getting cold. They should use the number system and have people bring your food. There were two workers already on the floor just asking people how they were doing when they could be bringing your food or to go trays. Some got a buzzard for their order but we did not. We will not be going back. What I really want is our 40 mins back. read more
