I used to enjoy going regularly to the Habit Burger & Grill at Tatum and Cactus. I would go with friends or family or even on my own to grab some food at Habit to eat there or take home. When it closed, the Habit Burger & Grill on Bell became the closest one to enjoy the tasty burgers and other dishes. I enjoy the Bell location as there is plenty of seating, the staff are always helpful, and I have enjoyed the food and drinks I have received there. When I go to Habit, I typically order a Charburger meal (Charburger, fries, and drink) or occasionally a Charburger with cheese or a Double Charburger if I am extremely hungry. I have ordered chocolate shakes at this location before, and certainly the fries. I have also on occasion ordered the Teriyaki Char with Cheese. The taste of each one is great and more classy than a typical fast food restaurant. Writing this review as a regular to this location of Habit Burger. My favorite cashier is Sylvia. She has a calm mature attitude and can handle any difficult customer, as I have witnessed. She is meticulous about making sure your order is input correctly (and I am a notorious special order request gal). The store is well run, I have encountered the same friendly manager here for years. They could bus and wipe the tables more frequently. This time I ordered a simple char burger with cheese, lettuce wrapped. I love their thick bun-like lettuce wrap, it is quite frankly one of the best done in the fast food genre. And it stays put together till the last bite. GREAT JOB ON THE LETTUCE WRAPS!!! And can I tell you how much I love their sweet potato fries and home made ranch dressing, yes I can tell its made with fresh ingredients and not out of a big jug. Cons: I asked if the sweet pot fries were GF and the cashier didn't know so he asked someone else who also didn't know. This is important information! A thing I would like to note is that I think everything is made upon order because I waited awhile to get my food and there was not anyone else before me in line and the store was pretty empty that you can see from the pictures. I waited about 10 minutes for my food. Makes sense that there is no drive through if the food takes this long to make. While I waited, I drank the cucumber limeade because 1. It was tasty and 2. It had the least amount of sugar . (16 grams) I'm grateful they put the sugar contents on the container because it is something that I look at when consuming drinks. I did not like the wrap. Stopped by this new location and all I can say is what an amazing experience, We were greeted when coming in and the cashier was so nice and happy along with everyone else behind the counter. We ordered are food and grabbed our drinks which they had a lot of different limeades and teas along with fountain sodas. They also have peppers and jalapeños that you can get as well. The food came out pretty quick and I ended up getting the double char cheeseburger with bacon along with a side of onions both which were absolutely amazing and I would definitely order again. I came here with my daughter and ordered a Santa Fe burger meal, Korean chicken bites, a drink, and shakes. They wouldn't provide a free water cup! I think that's appalling when we spent what we did, and the company is so cheap they won't even give my daughter a water cup as she had wings and a shake. This is so wrong. We won't be coming back. The place is clean, not too crowded. Walking up to the counter, although there were workers there, I opted to use the order screen where you can order the food yourself. Not sure why their reviews are not higher here. Never have any issues. Ordering is fast and friendly. Cashier last couple times even made some jokes. Food came out fast. Prices reasonable with frequent coupons sent. Chicken sandwich was packed with goodies (seemed like a whole avacado) and bread was toasty. Burgers also very good. Like that both are grilled. Unfortunately they don't have gluten free bun options, but can get as lettuce wraps. Inside is always clean and they also play great music! Love the 80's/early 90's alternative songs! read more

This place is about 5 minutes from our house so my husband and I tried it on two different occasions before I did this review just for consistency purposes. We only went through the drive through so we didn't get to see how clean it was inside or what the vibe inside was but the drive through was very straightforward and there were never any long lines. We tried it for lunch and once for a late night run around 10pm. Both times absolutely hit the spot. We got the mushroom burger and it was so delicious. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked, the burger was perfectly seasoned and the sauce for it is not what a normal fast food place would have since it's a garlic type aioli. The people were also very nice that took our order as well as our payment. We will be frequenting this place more than the Wendy's down the road that's for sure! read more

I got attitude when I asked for the price of my order because the screen wasn't showing it. The attitude was so displeasing I tried to cancel my order and continue with the attitude telling me to get the hell out of the line... Their order screen was broken and they knew that and they tried to rectify it with the smallest "print" menu you could imagine with font no bigger than my 8' If your company cannot fix the issues you have... why is your staff taking it out on customers who need extra assistance when those things are failing?? I've never had an issue ordering a burger with sweet potato fries side and having that as a meal... I've never been told I'll have to pay every item separately instead of the meal price because I got the sweet potato fries. It's always just been an up charge... every single fast food joint it's always been charge. We have to sell it separately.... Curious about the place, first time visitor. Was told at the window that it is not a drive through and today is the last day you can order there without ordering through the app in advance as that window is only for app orders in advance! My husband and I have been here a handful of times in the past years. We used to go to the location that used be near the Paradise Valley Mall before it closed. And we really liked that location. It's a good thing this location's food consistently tastes good, even though there have been times where they forgot to add something or remove something from a burger we ordered. We only go here if we're not in a rush because almost every time we have, the drive thru takes at least 15 minutes. I saw some other reviews referring to the dirty inside, however, I just picked up an online order this past weekend and I didn't think the floor was sticky, we didn't see trash laying around, and I saw workers wiping down the tables. I wanted to mention my observations because I believe you can't base a review on only one bad visit. Pros: The food is good, we love the tempura green beans, Portabella Char, and the SB Charburger. Love the variety of peppers from the sides bar next to the soda fountain. Cons: Drive thru takes a while, they don't always put the requested sides on the burgers (ie. add bacon or avocado), and busy and loud with high school students on weekdays when school is out. This review hurts to write, as I am a big Habit fan. I am also not one who writes many bad reviews. I take writing bad reviews very seriously, and you really have to earn a bad review from me. This bad review was definitely earned! This particular Habit was great at first, but has gone seriously downhill. Went in today with my mom, as she loves the salads. We were completely floored by the deplorable, dirty conditions. Food was left out unattended near self service area. Every single table was dirty and not clean. The floor had trash and garbage and looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in days. There was sticky soda on the floor by the fountain soda machine. Words don't even describe the filth of this place. The restaurant was very slow, pretty much just the two of us there. There were a lot of employees working, you'd think someone in charge would direct them to clean. This place never used to be like this!!! Needless to say, I will never go to this Habit ever again and I do NOT recommend this location. All the horrible reviews are very accurate. Not sure how they'd ever pass a health inspection! I also took video of how bad which captures the conditions better in case management decides to do something. So disappointing! I love Habit Burger. Food is always fresh. Its fast food though. This location has a drive through which I haven't seen before, but this makes it more fast food. I went inside to order my food to go. Upon checking out the cashier told me the credit card machine was going to ask me if I wanted to tip them and their co-workers. 1. I don't need to be told the machine is asking me that I can see that. 2. Why am I tipping a fast food restaurant where I'm getting my food to go. I felt it was unnecessary pressure to provide a tip, and the company itself should not be requesting tips on the CC machines. read more

Don't ever go to the drive thru. This is the 3rd time I have gone through and my order is wrong. Don't find out til I get home and know and behold you cannot reach the store unless you drive back. I got the barbecue bacon char burger and very upset to find that as I was eating it that the meat was raw inside. It was later in the evening and couldn't go back for my money. I have never tried Habit Burger before but I have passed by it many times. I felt like trying something different today for a quick bite to eat. Usually I would go through the drive-thru but since I had to use the restroom, I ran inside. They have the restroom doors locked, but I told the nice lady, in the red shirt behind the counter, I was going to order after the restroom and she gave me the code to get into the restroom. When I came out and went to the counter, I immediately had a man come over to help me. He was very friendly and he immediately took my order. I told him I had never been there before. He was very enthusiastic to list all the offerings that they had. I ended up just getting a cheeseburger with no tomato, but made the usual way that they do it. I was very surprised that the wait was very, very long, since I was the only one that had ordered and the restaurant was not busy at all. There were two people that came after me, but I didn't see anyone that had ordered before me. So I was very surprised with how long the wait was. I figured I would be getting extremely fresh food. And I did get very hot, fresh food. Unfortunately, and I hate to say this, it was probably the most tasteless burger I have ever had in my life. For some reason, the hamburger was gray and seemed overcooked. Most hamburger meat if it's overcooked, it turns dark brown and maybe even hard or crispy. This wasn't hard and it wasn't brown. The whole patty was gray and greasy looking. I don't know why. I couldn't understand why. It was really strange. It tasted very salty but that's really the only flavor I was getting out of it. So, unfortunately I would not go back there. Maybe I would try their sweet potato fries but I would never get the hamburger again. But I do want to say that the employees all looked very clean and neat. The lady who looked like maybe she could be the manager, the one wearing the red shirt, she was very neat and professional looking. Her hair was slicked back, very clean, shiny and neat in this braid. Her makeup was nice. She just looked exactly what someone should look like in a restaurant. She also seemed professional and knew what she was doing and ran everything efficiently. And I noticed the few other workers all looked very neat and tidy, also. I was very impressed by that.
