    Four Treasures with Garlic Sauce
    Amy P.

Another fabulous lunch here! It started off with crispy noodles with a hot mustard, followed by hot and sour soup which was spicy and delicious. For entrées, we ordered the three amigo and The four treasures with garlic sauce, Accompanied by fried rice. Both entrées were delicious! The shrimp and scallops in the four treasures were so fresh and absolutely delicious. I also loved the steak from there three amigo. Extremely tender and perfectly cooked. A d...the Fried rice was delicious. The service was very attentive and water and tea was replenished quickly. . Very friendly and nice people. Always consistent here. Love this place!

Over the years, we've been to David Chens and have always enjoyed it. We had not visited for a while and thought we'd visit. The parking lot seemed quite empty despite the time (5pm). Inside looked as beautiful as always. There were three occupied tables when we arrived. We were quickly seated and brought hot tea and menus. I chose chicken with cashew nuts and my husband had the shredded spicy pork. My dish seemed a bit dried which was strange, but otherwise tasted ok. My husband's dish was not spicy and he said tasted almost sweet. He only had a few bites and refused to eat more. He was afraid the pork was bad. Our waiter was pretty much MOA during the meal. When he did finally appear, my husband told the waiter he didn't like his dish and did not want to take it home. The waiter didn't seem to care. Not what we had ever experienced before at David Chen. They must have changed chefs, which is a pity. We will Not be going back any time soon. Oh and when we left, the place was still empty looking.

One of the best sit down Chinese in the area. Consistent and delicious. The standards rock, egg rolls, spare ribs....must have.

Good food, large portions. Service not very friendly they act like it's an imposition serving us. Take out might be a better option.

Needs major overhaul on all fronts. Sad. Food was lifeless and tasteless. Not even Chinese food! I don't know what it is.

We started with the lettuce wraps which were amazing. The chengdu rice again which isn't my favorite, there's something in there that I don't like but I can't figure out what the flavor is, it's just not something I'm used to. The soup dumplings were amazing I love truffle and I'm so happy about this addition to the menu! The braised beef clay pot was so yummy and warm and hearty, perfect for a chilly day. The thing that I am still befuddled by is that I had stomach issues again the next day! I didn't even have the same menu items as last time so I'm not sure what the issue is. But it still won't stop me because I love Chinese food way too much lol.

However, the rest of the broad and deep menu is excellent as well. The rich Sweet Corn Chicken Soup is sweet, thick (but not gummy) and quite tasty. The pan fried dumplings were outstanding. They were perfectly cooked and well stuffed with minced pork and veggies. The Honey Walnut Shrimp were amazing - plump and perfectly dressed. Finally, the Sesame Chicken was amazing. Perfectly cooked but the best thing is that the chicken was moist, rich and flavorful. So, if we're ever back in White Plains, you know where we'll be dining.

Aberdeen If you…read moreever find yourself in White Plains, NY, make sure that you go to the Marriott Residence Inn. Walk into the lobby, make a left and find the big brass door. Behind it is, by reputation, one of the best dim sum restaurants ever. The decor may be basic but the menu is broad and offers too many wonderful sounding choices. Friendly, helpful servers take your drink order and there's a QR code you can use to get your food but they have physical menus and will take your order to make things easier. We opted for a more traditional meal. The chicken corn soup had a rich broth and was loaded with chicken, corn and egg. The pan fried pork dumplings were crispy and delicious. The sesame chicken had a rich, sweet, sticky sauce on perfectly cooked chicken. The honey walnut shrimp were a delight. The portions are generous and more than enough to share. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are probably the reason for the slightly higher prices.
