If I could give no stars I would. If you are a lesbian couple please listen up closely. I had an awful experience. Me and my fiancé who is also a woman was given my dress to try on. It was laid out in the fitting room for her to try on with my name on it! We were not suppose to see each others dress. I'm very disappointed. I even called prior to arriving to make sure this did not happen. Now my wedding is ruined. The alternation lady did not seem sincere at all my fiancé even said she laughed about it saying "isnt it funny just don't tell her". This is my first and only wedding and honestly I will never return to this location again. If your a lesbian couple don't trust them to handle the most important day of your life! I had a great experience at the Fresno David's where I got my dress. However, this has been by far a heart breaking experience that left me in tears. If my heart could cry it would. And my wedding is in two weeek so no time to even get another dress. I will never ever ever come back to this location. Yikes I drove 30min to this location to browse around for a dress to wear to an upcoming wedding. I've been having trouble finding any maternity fit dresses in store so I thought maybe they would have some. A salesperson did yell "hi welcome in" from across the store after I walked in but I browsed around for 10-15 minutes and NO ONE came over to talk to me. I've worked in retail for years. I'm sure these guys even work on commission so what a poor experience I just had. I'm not sure if there were only one or two salespeople working but they were clearly in bridal appointment(s) and I felt very uncomfortable to have to walk over and interrupt that to ask if they even had any maternity dresses on the floor. Isn't there normally someone else working the floor in the front to greet/answer any questions?! I'm so incredibly frustrated and disappointed by that experience. I hope management sees this. My experience today was absolutely amazing. Despite the unfortunate turn of events with Covid, I think it was a lot more awesome that I pretty much had the place to myself. They only had two fittings at that time (noon). You can have 3 people max come to your fitting with you. Lars was the associate that helped me. He was spectacular!!! Absolutely hilarious and attentive. He was detail oriented and took all my specifications into consideration to find my perfect dress. I came into David's with no expectations of what I wanted and to just try on some dresses and came out purchasing a dress. My weddding isn't even until October 8th 2021 but he stated that there was a 7 day return policy after you purchase the dress for a refund back to the orginal form of purchase or you can get a store credit / exchange the dress up to the listed date of event you put down! I even triple checked with him to make sure of that before I made the purchase and he verified with his store manager. That's amazing because there was only one dress left in my size but in the east coast!!! So I purchased it and if I don't end up liking it with the correct fit I can exchange it later to a different dress but still got the sale price!!! He also stated you can exchange it for however many times you want until you find the perfect dress. Which I love because wedding shopping is stressful and too many peoples opinions can change how you really feel. But overall Im really happy with my purchase today and the customer service! Truly the Walmart of bridal dress boutiques, if you can call it a boutique. Don't waste your time or money here. The bridal consultant was more interested in my engagement ring than finding me a dress. Neiman Marcus has much better customer service and nicer quality items. Every dress in the store looks dated, dirty, and feels cheap. Customer service matches the quality of the dresses. Gown preservation note* You're better off not having your dress preserved through David's after your wedding date. They almost lost my dress and I waited 6 months for it back. If you do decide to have it preserved through the company then make sure they provide you with tracking information the day you drop it off to them (which I was never provided) and make sure they write down your contact information for the preservation company to be able to follow up after (which they didn't do for me so my dress was unclaimed with the preservation company for months bcs they didn't have any personal info from David's Bridal to send it back to me). read more

My sister bought her dress at the Sahara location and it felt so rushed We honestly felt like the lady was just trying to get her sale done and go to the next one it was crowded unlike this Location I went in there to help my sister out and they tried their best To help my sister even though she didn't buy the dress from them they also steamed it( yes we had to pay) When the other store did want us to pay because they said they didn't have time not even for a rush. Also these ladies made a custom mask for my sister which I absolutely loveeee!!! I purchased a bridesmaids dress here and was told "minor alterations were included". When I went back a few weeks later I was told "some girls told customers that but they were misinformed" and they were not willing to honor any part of that. I spent over an hour being pinned up and although the girl was nice, she had to keep asking her manager if she was doing it right. That was super reassuring. Then the bill came, over $250 in alterations for a $125 dress! I left with my dress and went to Seven Hills Clothiers who were amazing, knew what they were doing when it came to pinning and were more than reasonably priced. While I was at Davids, a bride came in for an estimate on her alterations for her dress and they totally set her up, they told her she was looking at less than $200 in alterations yet were listing things they needed to do that exceeded my alterations. She will be in for a surprise when she goes back. To top it off, when I told them I was going to have the alterations done somewhere else they gave me such a quilt trip and said things like "I hope wherever you take it doesn't ruin your dress" and "We know a lot of places who will promise you date and can't deliver". GET YOUR ALTERATIONS DONE SOMEWHERE ELSE!! read more

Things went wrong from the start, but the most important thing is that a week before my dress was due (I was a bridesmaid) I called to make sure all was going well and it would be done in time. They cut the alterations due date really close. They don't even start the work until shortly before the wedding- they prioritize the dresses based on the wedding date- not the date you went in for your fitting. So it does not matter if you gave them months to do the work. If someone else comes in that has only weeks that person's dress is done first. They told me all was well and they were working on the dress and it would be done in time the following Friday at 4pm as scheduled. (The wedding was out of state and I was leaving the following Weds.) An hour and a half before my appointment they called me and said the dress would not be ready and could I come on Sunday? They told me the alterations department had quit. I went down there immediately and asked to see the dress. Nothing was done except bra cups were added up by the straps where no woman's boobs could ever be. And this dress needed a TON of work because of an earlier screw up with the size that I won't bother getting into. Basically, they had to turn a size 8 dress into a size 10. I told them I did not want to show up on Sunday along with a herd of furious other bridesmaids panicking. I'd rather just grab a different dress off the rack in the right color. The staff told me they'd pull every dress around my size in that color from the samples and hold them for me just in case, but it would be done. Sunday comes and it not only isn't done, it's not even close and the alterations department had no idea what they were supposed to do. They promised they'd have it done the next day but I said no. Grab the dresses the staff pulled for me. Oh... no one pulled them. So I said grab any dress in this color. They came in with ONE dress in the right color. Too big, but that was an easy fix. It had pulls and had been a sample and looked like a dishrag but I bought it- full price. No discount for the pulls or for the mistake. The bride was cool about it, but many brides would not have been happy to hear a bridesmaid dress was changed right before the wedding. Since all it needed was a hem and a zipper replacement and taken in a bit, they got it done in time for my flight. David's Bridal in Massachusetts was a pretty nice place. For my own wedding I got a hair fascinator there. But this place is a dump. Dirty rug, dirty dressing rooms, cheap and crappy everywhere. Staff were all nice but they screwed up at every turn. I would never, ever, send someone there. If you decide to go there, start by asking them which dresses can be ordered in time for your wedding rather than ask by color only to find out that none but two could be ordered in time, after you tried on ten dresses and let the bride pick the one she liked. Also, consider not doing your alterations there. Order it and take it to a good seamstress. They don't even do the hem all the way around the dress. Just the front. You have to insist and then pay extra to have the dress hemmed in the back. WTF? Brides- consider picking a color and letting your maids buy off the rack at a department store or boutique. It's not cheaper, in the end, to go to a place like this. The dresses are pretty cheap but not dirt cheap. And they kill you on the alterations pricing. The original dress I bought was $160 and the alterations (they never completed) were an additional $250. It is not worth the stress of wondering if it will be done in time. read more

Wedding Dress buyers beware! If you purchase a dress that has to be ordered you have 7 days from the day you purchased to return the dress, not 7 days from the time you receive your dress like they tell you in the store. Our dates changed and the dress would not have arrived on time. They refused to retuen the dress even thougg we had not received it. We were told we could only make and exchange. We went through the store for almost 2 hours looking and finding pointless less things to exchange, and paying way too much for simple hair combs. When we got to the register the manager then stated that we had to have enough merchandise to cover the exact amount of the dress. At the point I was overly frustrated, they did not tell us that from the start. In the end I had to find one more item and had to pay additional money. read more

The manager at this store and girl I talked to in the front today was super helpful. All my bridesmaids and mom got their dresses here. The dresses are good but today I had the worst customer service experience from the alterations department. My call somehow got picked up by a lady in the back when I was on hold while they checked on a dress order. The lady in the alterations In the back picked up and unprofessionally said what's up can I help u sounding super aggressive and mad. And I said I'm on hold and she said well you're on our intercom so what did you need. (As If this was my fault. ) She was so rude and it wasn't necessarily what she said but how unprofessional she spoke to me. Don't pick up the phone if you can't be professional to a customer. I'm very irritated and don't plan on recommending it here after that experience. read more

Rose interacted with my entire group, taking back two dresses I wanted to try on, and one the girls picked. And one I had on my Pinterest. I tried her pick on last and that's the one I said Yes to! This place is a hard no from me, dawg. We came here and it was DEAD. We were not even acknowledged, so we were literally just walking around looking at random dresses. One of the girls finally asked what we were looking for and I told her I was getting married and was looking for something simple, but elegant... she directed me to bridesmaids dress! WTF? So, I was a bit confused and asked her, if I am to wear one of those types to my wedding, and she said, sure, why not? Clearly she did not care, because after that she was no where around. We ended up leaving and never coming back. The customer service here is severely lacking, she didn't even probe me for ANYTHING, and just pointed to whatever she could and basically was done with me. I purchased an item online and the girl working at the front got mad at me saying they don't do online returns and I had to pull up their website policy in order for her to get someone to do my return. I went to David's bridal with no intentions to finding my wedding dress. Kayla was my stylist. The moment I met her she immediately asked me what I envisioned for my wedding and theme. I already picked out some dresses to try on and she asked me why I liked the dress to get a sense of style I wanted. I tried on many different dresses but the dresses Kayla picked out for me were the best form fitting dresses on me. They definitely showed my curves. Kayla was not pushy or trying to sell me a dress I didn't like. She was so patient and understanding. She definitely made my experience enjoyable. Huge selection! The add ons are what kills you though, buying a cheap gown; but having to buy the inner garments that were overpriced, the veil and the tiara, they even overprice for alterations (which I think should be free since you already purchased a bunch of stuff). Overall, spent twice as much as we had intended to. I wear a size 4, and the gown that was given to me by Alicia was a size 6, and there were no other smaller sizes. We originally thought that we could just alter it, but it was too much. When I went back Erin and Elizabeth assisted me with the alterations, and Elizabeth found a size 2 that fit me perfectly! And I didn't even need the corset, which I already paid for. David's Bridal doesn't take returns. Still super thankful for Erin and Elizabeth who assisted me during alterations, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have found a good gown. Two of my 4 stars are for them. Lol read more

I wasnt looking forward to dress shopping at all. My daughter is getting married and my 4 other children are in the bridal party. I also needed to get my dress. So, we had some dresses to buy! Out of the dress racks appeared an angel named Lars! He helped each of us find styles that where flattering, figure out the best sizes, and even bra tricks.
