The garlic knots were served in a oily garlic sauce that I was afraid was going to be too much/overpowering. I was pleasantly surprised! They were amazing and fell apart in my mouth. Having all the extra sauce turned out to be a plus as well. There were so much that we could rub it on the bread of my sub, and the bread of the Stromboli. After eating, we went back inside to tell the cook personally, how good everything was. Everyone inside was extremely friendly and they let us know that this is just the beginning of their menu. For starters, even getting here is a pain since Apollo's is in an isolated part of the shopping center parking lot. Once I arrived and met up with some other folks I was dining with, the staff clearly looked displeased that they had actual paying customers around, and continued to act with disdain (and clearing our food before it was done) throughout our visit. Take it from someone who will eat pretty much any pizza, from the highest culinary offerings to the deep discount Aldi pie: Apollo's has somehow managed to make something so inedible that I would not accept this food for free. If it were quite cheap that might make it a bit more approachable for some, but their prices aren't even reasonable. Some other folks in our group got sandwiches and they somehow looked worse than even 7/11 pre-wraps. I cannot for the life of me figure out why this place remains in business, though my guess is they have a dedicated delivery audience who lack tastebuds or proper frames of reference for what food should taste like or the texture it should have. Appalling in every sense of the word and I cannot recommend against it strongly enough. Overall: 1.0 star --- Pros: - You don't have to pay to leave, because I gladly would have if I had to. The wings were ok but not very crispy. The stuffed tater tots tasted like a loaded baked potato, which was great but they also weren't crisp on the outside, which was what I was expecting. The garlic bread bites tasted stale. They were overly chewy and the garlic parmesan topping was inconsistently covering them. The beef patty looked like a frozen patty from the grocery store that had been sliced open with pepperoni and cheese stuffed inside. It looked pretty pitiful and wasn't worth $2 extra for the pepperoni and cheese. I would come here again, but next time, I would only get pizza.

The mozz sticks were like doughy and stiff, could not even swallow them. Both fries and mozz tasted a like. The steak and cheese meat was dry and over cooked and greasy to the max. Even the lemon cake tasted strange...... I hope I don't get sick. I can not say one good thing about the food. I hope the Lays chips aren't expired.
