He asked for my order number. I was not given a receipt. He said unless a customer asks, no receipts are being given out any longer. I told him I didn't see a sign for that. He said I wasn't going to see a sign. He did search back 30 minutes for my order and found it. Said I could drive the 30 minutes back with my sandwiches and get a full refund or get my missing hashbrowns. I told him the gas and time I would use made that unfeasible. He asked what I wanted him to do. I told him to give me more options. There were no cars in front or behind me to them have given my hashbrowns to accidentally. He didn't have any. I asked if he could send me an email stating they owed me a free hashbrown, He said that could work, took my name down. I asked if he wanted my email address, he said no, he would post my name on the wall for his team to see. Note: NOT what I asked for. Even if he could have emailed me a coupon for a free hashbrown would have been fine. I'm amazed he had no options but me returning to the store. This store is rated at 2/5 today and I can see why. The manager implied I was lying or it was my fault things went wrong. No accountability or apology ever from him. I hope they honor my free hashbro wns next time I'm out that way. I'll try to make that soon. Learned my lesson, 1) ALWAYS ask for a receipt, 2) ALWAYS check your order before driving 1 inch away. While I waited, a few other cars pulled up and she delivered the orders to their cars. I waited perhaps a total of 10 minutes, and the same gal -- Alexis, according to my receipt -- brought my order out to me. It was a touch-free transaction.
