The contractor who remodeled our plumbing to do the unusual plumbing work that was needed to make things function properly. We have used them three times since then our house is built in 1942. There was a leak underneath our back bathroom sink and Jesse came out and took care of it after my failed. Then the connects the wall pipes with the under sink sprung a leak it had to be cut out and a new one put in. Jose, the technician at the time also cleaned out the . Then the front bathroom sink clogged up and we knew it was time to have it cleaned out. Jesse came out and did this work and care of it with no problem. I previously chose Davis Plumbing, after much research, as my main plumber, and they do not disappoint. Our 20 yr old hot water tank flooded the garage. We called Davis on Sunday, and first thing Monday morning, James the owner came over to assess. We'd been thinking about tankless, but figure the cost and availability would be prohibitive. Let me start by saying that the quality, timeliness, and work done was top notch. The reason for my 2-star review has nothing to do with the service or the work performed. The reason for the review is because the cost of the parts is egregious with Davis Plumbing. $14.00 for primer for them to adhere 3-4 plastic pipes? That's ridiculous. You can buy 8oz of primer at Home Depot for $8. That's like charging $12 dollars for putting salad dressing on a salad. I've looked up every single part that was quoted and they are more than double anywhere on the internet. And they're a plumbing business, so you know they're buying in bulk and saving more money than your average joe. I thought I got copper pipes, not gold. Like others here my issue was with the dispatcher or Admin-this one was Karen. She called to let me know they could have someone out to my house next day-but there was a 48 hour cancellation policy. I let her know I was expecting one more call to see if someone could come out today and wanted to honor their policy and asked if I could call back as soon as I knew (which was 40 mins later). She didn't mention anything about not being able to hold the appointment for me or that I could lose that time by doing this.....and that's exactly what happened when they called me back an hour later. Davis Plumbing - I wanted to express my total and complete satisfaction with Davis Plumbing. I had a slab leak under my island sink. Instead of trying to repair it by having to jackhammer 12" down into a post tension slab James was able to run new lines from the manifold into and under the kitchen cabinets and then jackhammered a 4" deep passageway in the concrete to connect to the sink. These guys are great! Two nights ago I could hear what appeared to be a leak in the crawl space of my home. Not knowing how bad the leak was, I turned the water off at the main and crawled into bed dreading the thought of having to deal with a plumbing problem so close to Christmas. The following morning I called a total of six plumbers. One was booked out for three weeks. Not real helpful when you have a leak. I left messages with several others, some of whom called me back, some of whom haven't, etc. Davis Plumbing answered my call immediately and called me back within the hour with good news after checking with their crews - they were able to squeeze me in that day. What a huge relief that was! The appointment was set for between noon and 2. At 1:30 I received a call to let me know they were running late, having run into a problem at another job. Great communication! Jose got to my house at approximately 3:15. I explained what I'd heard and after turning the water on, he agreed there was a leak. He crawled under the house and took a picture of what turned out to be a pin hole leak in a copper pipe in the crawl space. The noise I had been hearing resulted from the water spraying onto the moisture barrier on the ground under the house. It sounded worse than it was, but it obviously needed to be fixed. Jose had everything he needed to make the repair. He was on his way within the hour. Jose was personable, knowledgeable, and considerate. Access to the crawl space is via a bedroom closet. Jose placed a clean tarp over the bedroom carpet to protect it. He provided me with photos of the leak and the pipe after the repair. The repair itself cost less than what one of the other plumbers had quoted just to come out to the house to give me a quote. I wouldn't hesitate to call Davis Plumbing again and I will definitely refer them to anyone who needs a knowledgeable, dependable, professional, honest and reasonably priced plumber. read more
