Davis Plumbing is worth 6 stars! Joe and his team are as good as it gets! They are honest and just plain cool. Prior to purchasing our house, we rented it. The landlord used a different local company. We were told that we had a major issue with the plumbing to the street and it was going to be a $5500 fix. We brought Davis Plumbing out to check out the problem as well. After paying a minor video cam inspection fee they did not see the same issue. Needless to say they saved us thousands of dollars! Just today Joe came out to look at a water damage/dry rot issue in the bathroom. After pressure testing the system, he was able to assess that the problem was not related to plumbing. His assessment saved us from cutting open a wall. I recommend that you use Davis Plumbing for any of your plumbing and gas needs! What did I learn today? I am glad to write this review about Joe and his buddies from Davis Plumbing. Joe is the owner of Davis Plumbing. I currently have electric stove in my home and wanted that to be replaced to gas. this is something we always wanted to do from the time we bought the home. When the right time came I called Joe from Davis Plumbing for an estimate. Joe was prompt on time, professional, polite,respectful, and very knowledgeable. He heard my ideas and provided his, which worked out great than mine. His price was very fair. How do i know this. I had three other outfit price the same scope and let me tell you Davis Plumbing was the cheapest of three and the price made me feel Joe is fair. Scheduled Joe to perform work between 9/29 to 9/30. Matt and James from Davis Plumbing along with Joe showed up to work promptly at 8:30 am on 9/29/14. Just like Joe his team was also professional, polite, friendly, and respectful. They went about with their work with extreme care and detail. Joe walked us through the plan, Matt and James executed the plan precisely and Matt improvised on it as he went along. The quality of the work was awesome no complaints. They ran into day three but that was ok with me as they took their time to do the work and didn't hurry the job. They tested the line for 30 PSI for 45 min well more than what was required by the Code. Joe also had the line painted in the same color as the exterior walls so that the pipe will blend with the walls and wont stick out. On the underground work they used galvanized pipe with epoxy coating. Matt also added an extra valve inside the cabinet as he was installing so that we can close the line if needed during our long vacation days. on the underground section of the work which ran right next to my access door i was concerned about safety of the line. I requested Joe to bury the underground section of the pipe in slurry for added protection which was a change in plan but he did that without much hesitation. When the work was done they left the work area just as it was before they started. Great house keeping. have attached some pictures of the work as it happened and the end product. I mentioned in my first line of my review to Davis plumbing team as "Joe and his Buddies" because I could feel that comradery between them. Working in construction myself I strongly believe an employer that takes care of his employees will always take care of his customers. Bottom line will definitely call Davis Plumbing for all my plumbing requirements in the future and will recommend them to all my friends and family. read more

The woman who answered my call told me that someone would get back to me the next day. No such luck. A week later, I called again. Our kitchen faucet sprayer hose developed a leak. Jesse was here on time and replaced the hose in minutes. We had identified the part that was required and he brought it with him. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. He even helped us replace a water dispenser filter. read more

We dealt with Matt today. We had an outdoor, but house water - OFF situation. Me and my wife were extrenely pleased with our interactions with the Davis plumber, Matt. He was efficient at rendering our repair, and took the time (WHILE WORKING!!!) to explain the faulty repairs prior to his arrival. He gave me choices on materials to complete the repair, along with $$ comments while explaning. I left it to his judgement, and he then explained each of his choices and WHY. The final cost turned out to be a smidge below our estimate. But the takehome message is that - right on target, based on our internet research. We will call these guys without hesitation in the future. I recommend them to the readers....... When it was time to pay, they preferred a check. But would not have refused a credit card. while cleaning up from dinner last night I heard a thud under the sink and water starting going everywhere. turned out my garbage disposal literally fell off the sink spewing water and food debris everywhere. I called them this morning about 7:50 and by 10:15 Alan and Jessie were here to save the day and sure enough, that was exactly what had happened. After 10 years, it had somehow "vibrated" loose which both plumbers said they had never seen happen. They were quick, efficient, thorough, friendly, honest and fairly priced. Davis Plumbing is simply... AWESOME! We have a home with OLD plumbing and apparently stainless steel or something, when they went in to repair pipes, the pipes literally fell apart in their hands. Matthew, one of the plumbers, is awesome and super funny, and he will happily show you the pipes that break apart or crud he finds, which is entertaining to say the least. ((I do know I do not want to be a plumber after this experience, but so glad they are). I have new copper pipes now, I have tankless water heater that even the guy from PGE said was installed beautifully and I have a plumber for life (hopefully, don't retire Joe, the world of plumbing needs you). I spoke with about five plumbers and the first time he showed up, calm, ready to work and fearless I knew I was going to hire him. His prices are fair and his quote was accurate. Paying him to do the work he did was a pleasure because it was done right, everything was explained and it was done relatively quickly for the amount of work that had to be done. Eventually, we will need new pipes underground, Joe will be the first that I call. We live in Rossmoor and our building was experiencing irregular water pressure. One time barely a drip, next, more or less regular running water, then 5 minutes for the toilet to fill after flushing, and wimpy shower pressure. They do NOT stand by their work. Will never hire them again! They came to fix a faucet, said they did and in a few months the problem was back. Different people came out and said it was NOT FIXED PROPERLY the last time and that a new part had been needed to fix it. They went to get the part and fixed it (but it still is NOT working properly!), but charged to fix their error in the first place. NO discount was given; NO consideration for their error! Live in Rossmoor. Had the toilet anchors come loose on a concrete foundation. Being it was a toilet created some consternation. Called MOD and spoke with the supervisor Chris. Had a call from Karen at Davis within a half hour. Being later in the afternoon I was given an appt for the next day between 10 and noon. Allen showed up early and was gone before noon. We have used them twice for two different jobs and both times they did excellent work. The first job was a sprinkler leak that we got multiple bids for. Davis plumbing was much more reasonable than all the rest. Our sprinkler job turned out to be way more complicated than they thought, but Joe and his crew kept with it and solved the problem. Plus, they kept the price exactly at the estimate. We called them later for an emergency main line back up, which also turned out to be ridiculously complicated due to the nature of our house and piping as well as the absence of a main drain clean out. They worked for 2 days, and even had to pull up part of our driveway to install a clean out. They kept with it until the problem was fixed with Joe personally running all the other guys' calls to make sure we had a full crew here to get our drains back in working condition ASAP. I was pretty scared to get that bill since it was an emergency call coming up on a holiday weekend with full crews working for 2 days. We just got it the other day, though, and Joe again was honest and reasonable. I would highly recommend them....although, I don't want them to get too much busier. What if we have another emergency?? Tried to replace the cartridge to the kitchen sink faucet only to realize the shut off valve for the hot water wasn't working so water shooting everywhere. Scrambling around to figure out a way to turn off the water supply so the kitchen doesn't flood was a mad scramble. Figured time to bring in the experts. Gave Davis Plumbing a ring before 8am and owner Joe Davis picked up immediately. Prior to left a message for another plumber a neighbor recommended and still haven't heard back. Joe and his crew has a full day of prescheduled work, but he had Kenny who is very knowledgeable and polite, swing by the house before his first call. Kenny stopped the leak and Joe is coming back at the end of the work day to install the new kitchen faucet and look at other plumbing needs around the house.
