Nice little donut shop to visit when you are craving donuts, coffee, and bagels. It's convenient for me as I live less than a mile away and enjoy picking up breakfast for my family on the weekends. Great customer service and a family friendly environment.

It's the first time trying this shop. I've passed it several times and finally realized it was a donut/sandwich place. I was in and was warmly greeted by the man at the counter. I assume the owner as it seemed like a small mom and pop place. While I was still thinking of what to get, they helped some other customers who seemed like regulars. I got an apple fritter, and he threw in an extra donut - chocolate raised in my bag. Very nice of him. The apple fritter was crispy/crunchy on the outside, while the inside was soft and moist. The apple bits were all over the fritter. The donuts are classic flavors, so if you are looking for something spectacular or elaborate concoctions. This place is not for you.

I've ordered donuts through DoorDash from here twice already & both times the donuts are BOMB! Good for simple donuts. Super fluffy, airy, perfect amount of icing/sweetness. The strawberry coconut donut, BOMB, the chocolate glaze, BOMB, the donut holes, BOMB. I have yet to go inside as it's literally down the street from where I live. My kids love the donuts here, & it always tastes fresh. 10/10 recommend. New favorite donut spot.

My favorite donut spot in my neighborhood! I've been going here for many years and it's always consistent with there donuts, bagels, etc. It's always a pleasure to stop in and grab some breakfast here. Customer service is phenomenal They are always helpful and kind! The aroma of this place is so euphoric! It seems to be popular that makes there customers keep coming back!

I was hosting an early work event for about 65 people and long story short -- the ball was dropped on ordering breakfast. I thought to myself, 'where could I pick up something within the next 30 minutes and be on my way to fight the merry experience of Friday morning traffic to make it on time to the event I was hosting?' I knew Dawn Donuts would save the day, and they did! I gave them a ring and told them I needed 3 boxes of assorted bagels and one box of assorted donuts. I knew some people at my event are on diets so I figured those people could split a bagel with someone -- that's why I ordered 4 dozen boxes and not 5. Anyway, when I arrived -- per usual, there was a line out the door. It's a given because this shop offers donuts of every kind, croissant sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese, coffee, smoothies, lattes, etc. It really is the ideal neighborhood shop to pick up all things sweet and savory for a quick breakfast. Considering how long the line was and with two ladies in the front running the house (and they were hustling with a great sense of urgency!) -- a young man ended up assisting me with my big phone order. He had everything boxed with 3 cream cheese spreads on the side and ready to go within 30 minutes of my putting the phone order in. He even put everything on a cart and walked me to my car so I didn't have to juggle the boxes on my own. Awesome service I must say. The total was $155 for the bagels and donuts, and I left a $25 tip. Appreciate how these guys came through for me at the 11th hour. Support locally owned small businesses!

The prices are too high and the owner is not accommodating to someone who spent $100 or more in her bakery to allow me to get condiments from the customers self serve areas asking me to pay for condiments.

Got donuts. No complaints. Just wanted to write a review so I can post updated menu prices

Every time I've been to Dawn Donuts has been a good experience. Their ham & cheese croissants are delicious and donuts always fresh! When I arrived for my dozen Saturday morning around 7:30 there was only one other customer and we were helped very quickly! Definitely recommend supporting this local small business. read more

I don't know what these other Yelpers are smoking but I can tell you without a doubt that Dawns Donuts are some of the cleanest, freshest and most delicious donuts in town. Now I have been known to travel many miles for a quality donut and that may sound kind of crazy what with the plethora of donut shops in the Bay Area but I heard a man once say on the radio that "Life is Too Short" and I would just add to that and say "for sub-par donuts" and although I am not a police officer this is the mantra I live by and with new comer Dawns Donuts added to my short list of quality Bay Area donut shops I may never have to eat another crappy donut for the rest of my days. So to Dawn and crew I say Bravo!! and offer my thanks to you for the dedication to your craft and for sharing with the world your truly outstanding donuts. read more

Do not use the Too Good to Go app for this donut shop. You will end up paying more for old donuts then you would've paid. Had you just bought them fresh. I paid almost 6 dollars on the TooGoodToGo app and I only got five donuts. I could've got five fresh donuts for that price. Total rip off. Two of the five they gave me were unglazed plain old fashion donuts. read more

Welp. This place gets 1 STAR from me..why? The menu looks great but when you service the public at large and make lots of $$$ on a daily basis, as a business you should provide customers with optional payment methods. There is NO reason why small donut shops like this cannot invest in a Point of Sale machine for their customers. Not only should they invest in a POS machine, but they should also post a very clear "Cash Only" sign. Dawn Donuts has a multitude of regular dedicated customers that go in every morning, I think its only fair to provide another payment option that allows debit/credit card processing. ‍ ‍ With today's technology. Pos machines are affordable, transaction efficient, secure and easy to use! read more

Unprofessional staff. The lady was rude.. I made an order online for pick up and came to pick it up after saying it was ready. I came in told her I ordered online and she said I don't care you have to wait in line outside and took more than 30 minutes to have my order ready. Coffee was horrible too. read more

I don't understand why people like this place. They are so slow especially when the owners aren't there. They don't say hi. They don't acknowledge you. Poor service price point too high for what you get. I don't recommend coming here. Go somewhere else that you can get better quality and you can save your time. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover. Don't let the scratched windows and out of date tables keep you from trying this local gem. Hands down the best apple fritter I've ever had!! They don't skip on the filling like most places do. Tons of Apple bits and cinnamon. I will definitely be returning. read more

Grew up going to this place since I was like 8. I'm 25 now so this place is a big part of my childhood. It's a mom and pop shop and I've noticed that they recently remodeled. Unfortunately over the years I've noticed that the quality has changed significantly. I've gave it a few chances and I've come to the conclusion that the overall quality has gone down. I came in early this morning to grab some before work because it's been sooo long. There were 3 people ahead of me but I noticed there was no line and they were just checking people randomly. I got a cinnamon roll, plain chocolate donut, and a dozen donut holes. The donuts smelled like they were left in old oil. Secondly, I asked for a dozen donut holes and were given a bag within a second. It was either pre bagged old donuts or donuts from someone who didn't want them anymore. I also had a foreign piece on one of my donut hole. See pic. Overall I was suuuuper sad and disappointed. This place holds a special place in my heart and as much as I want to support them and give them a positive reviews, quality has def gone down. I was obviously given old donuts. Still not over the bagged donut holes :/ read more

I doordashed an order of one dozen donuts and AFTER my kids ate one donut each, I noticed something moving around in the box when I was about to put the rest away. It was a cockroach! Absolutely disgusting! My kids already ate the donuts. read more

Iced Vietnamese coffee is just right amount of sweet and bitter. My go-to is jalapeño cheese bagel w/ cream cheese, but Croissant egg breakfasts sandwich is also very satisfying. Friendly and fast. Support this local small business! read more

Place is busy every morning and has it's regulars there. But service is fast and you can get out the door. Best place to get the most fresh donuts. Also I splurge and get some lotto tickets there. Wide array of donut choices. I haven't ventured to try the ice cream but their donuts are their bread and butter. For two dozen it's under 19 dollars, and when you bring them to work everybody loves you. Service: They are fast and efficient. Food: Mouth watering and cardio is a must afterwards! Ambiance: Small and cozy. Best to get your goods and go! Parking: Its in a shopping center so plenty of free parking. read more

If I could, I would give this restaurant negative stars. They have themselves listed on Grubhub but they don't adjust their menu or close their Grubhub store when they run out of donuts. The last three times I ordered from here I didn't get the donuts I ordered or replacements that I didn't want. read more

Since the new owners took over (son or daughter plus spouse) the customer service is horrible. The gentlemen owner can't prepare a correct cup of coffee if his life depends on it. Even though we requested light sugar multiple times, he insists of loading it with it, now we don't even order any coffee.. When you try to buy a few donuts he tells you its cheaper to get a dozen then charges you more than the price of a dozen because he says you picked the more expensive ones. Just be honest and let the customer know, don't try to be shady. Things were definitely better when the parents ran the shop. At least the quality of the donuts are good. To bad the same could not be said for the muffins and other items. read more

Great tasting and good value! Ordered on UberEats and pretty much everything I got exceeded expectations. Classic yeast donuts were very good, and the jelly donut was honestly the best I've had. Normally I don't like cake donuts, but the ones from here are surprisingly good. Also a huge fan of the apple fritter and the bear claw. Will definitely be my go to donut place for now. read more

First time coming here, always see people ordering or outside . Got a simple #4 which is bagel, bacon ,egg,cheese, I said yes for mayo and jalapeños. This Breakfast Sandwhich was great tasting, bagel fresh, good amount of bacon , melty cheese, mayo and jalepenos put it over the top. I was early for a nearby appt, so I decided to hangout at this donut hole in the wall. The staff is friendly and the owner is a character lol I got some donut holes, a double choco donut, and a hot cocoa. The donuts were light, sweet, and legit. Good thing these donut holes aren't free refills haha. The hot chocolate was chocolatey and really good...Dare I say BETTER THAN STARBUCKS & PEETS hot chocolate!? Anyway, there is also HOT SPOT, Lotto, and scratchers available. I took my time with some scratchers while sippin my cocoa and downing satisfying bites of heaven. This place is just missing some Pai-Gow and Blackjack tables. As I hung out, I realized this is a gold mine of characters of customers. This place rates just as high for me as the mall for PEOPLE WATCHING LOL I highly recommend this place. And if you wanna get in good with the owner just call him by his childhood nickname, "Guppy" and that I sent you =) read more

My story and shout out goes to this donut place! On Saturday I come in looking for their heart shaped donuts. The lady at the counter said I ran out. However, I'll take your name and the ones you want and you can pick it up on Sunday. On Sunday I entered the store around 8 am and she says I have the donuts for you! She remembered and had the donuts made fresh and hot! I appreciate their amazing customer service and to boot their donuts are delicious! Plus go on yelp to get your free donuts holes! read more

Stan's makes the donuts right there in the front of the shop, so they are completely fresh. I ordered one chocolate French cruller and one chocolate crème-filled glaze. The cruller was wonderful. Airy and soft with delicious chocolate on top. Should have ordered two of those. The chocolate crème-filled was not as good. It was too crispy on the outside and had too much warm crème inside. I might have liked it better if I hadn't first eaten the perfect cruller. Stan's only takes cash, but they have an ATM machine in the shop. There is a large shared parking lot. Phone orders must be placed 24 hours in advance. I'll be back for more crullers and to try an apple fritter, which are only served on Mondays.

There were the flavors I mentioned above and then some. I called ahead to ask for pricing since most of the Yelp photos were outdated from years ago and of course, prices then are nowhere near the same as now. For one dozen mochi donuts, it'll set you back roughly $39 (including taxes). I ended up getting 10 mochi donuts (flavored with cookies & cream, ube, fruity pebbles, strawberry, and churro). The donuts only took 10 minutes to cook fresh to order. Cookies & cream and fruity pebbles were easily my fave of the bunch. The donuts are soft, chewy, and I would say slightly more dense than other places (but not in a bad way). I look forward to coming back here again for my mochi donut needs!

The service was okay. I was greeted by both ladies at the counter and the worker who had assisted me seemed very attentive. I got a dozen cream filled donut holes which were 8.99. My latte was very tasty and balanced. My partner's drip coffee was okay, nothing to write home about. Overall, nice coffee shop experience. Not sure if I would go out of my way to try it again, but it is worth it if you're in the area!

Drinks were quickly ready in 5 minutes since I came in 10 minutes after it opened. The pink guava matcha was too sweet in my opinion so I'd highly recommend getting 50% sweet. Overall, the guava flavor was overpowering with little to no matcha taste. Guava syrup was very fruity and even refreshing but the matcha flavor fell short. The jasmine salted cheese matcha tasted very milky in general. The jasmine tea flavor wasn't so fragrant as I expected and the matcha wasn't strong in this drink either at 70% sweet. The salted cheese cream was very light, not as salty as I preferred. Shop was kept clean and spacious with minimal seating. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back unless I'm in the area. For a matcha place, I think the tea notes could be improved to be more bold since both drinks didn't taste as earthy. I'd love to try the regular matcha latte next time though!
