Because of all the reviews I booked this hotel. This is a 2 star hotel. The rug is frayed and it needs upgrading. Lock on my door fails to work when I want to return to my room so I have to go to the front desk. The bathroom is creepy. I do not recommend this place at all. H

During high weekend price coming to Gettysburg, I just don't want to spent too much of the place for sleep. I will probably going out all day so Days inn is a choice to save the cost. It is not far from Gettysburg battlefield even the place kind of you get what you pay. The complimentary breakfast is nothing not fancy or delicious food at all. I stayed for 2 days and because of Covid19 they won't have a housekeeper to clean my room. If I need an extra towel or toilet paper I have to go ask front desk for it. Yes, It is typical inn hotel so I understand and I don't expect anything extra.

I have stayed at this location a few times. I think the last time I stayed here covid was a lot more serious so there was no free breakfast in the morning but this time there was! I had waffles and they were very good! They had a waffle batter dispenser that you pour into the waffle iron yourself and make your own waffles. Very simple to do! Every employee I've came across at this location has been very nice and this place is really clean. I have been to other Days Inns at other locations and they were super dirty and gross, not this one. This hotel is also greatly priced as well with a Dunkin Donuts next door and Walmart right down the street if you need anything during your stay.

Bugs in the room just 2 I took pictures of... Front Desk VERY VERY RUDE... did nothing

Disgusting bug infested hotel Front desk very rude Did nothing but tell me we can't change room.. just some bugs

Room was nice and clean and reception was polite and helpful. She even went out of her way to suggest restaurants while in Gettysburg. Very happy with the Days Inn all in all. The breakfast leaves a little to be desired but it's about what you'd expect for a free breakfast with a cheap room.

    Clean large rooms.

A clean and very friendly property. Good WiFi. Okay breakfast. We were actually planning to stay at the Super 8 directly behind the Days Inn, but it turned out their WiFi was down and not expected to be fixed that day (my T-Mobile works great at home but has been worse than spotty on our cross country road trip..Ting here I come). We liked this hotel (and area) enough to stay a second night. The breakfast was fairly standard (waffles, toast, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee, plastic wrapped muffins and cinnamon rolls) - but the eating area was large and clean and most importantly Fox News was Not on the TV. This is a 5 story facility, but the elevator s work well and there are several luggage carts if needed.

If you're planning a trip to Gettysburg, I highly recommend staying at the Gaslight Inn. I promise, you will not be disappointed!

I was flying solo, so I stayed in the smallest (cheapest) room - Violet Room - and it was nice if not huge. Bed, bath, etc., were really nice. Room does have TV and wi-fi, but I was "on vacation" and did not use them that much. Mornings I went down, grabbed coffee, and sat out on the 2nd floor balcony reading and enjoying the view of the yard. Weather was great this visit, and this was hard to beat! The public spaces in the inn were plentiful on both 1st and 2nd floors, and I felt very comfortable. Gaslight's location is in the heart of Gettysburg, and everything but the battlefield itself is an easy walk. That included places to eat and get ice cream. I preferred this to being farther out, driving around, finding parking, etc. Hosts - Mike and Jennifer - were great, friendly, answered all questions, and helped with anything I wanted. If you are looking for a 9-room B&B experience with other nice people, want to enjoy the heart of the town of Gettysburg, and do not need a mega-hotel, the Gaslight Inn should be high on your list.

When leaving (we left early for a family emergency) I emailed (which is the fastest communication they said. Explaining we were leaving. No reply, sent another email, no reply. Then finally in the morning I wanted to confirm they got any of the emails, and finally one came back. Communication isn't the greatest. Also, the parking is horrible. If each room has a spot. There should be a sign that it is that's room parking spot. There is no signage and if you get there in the dark your screwed to even know it the right parking lot. I had high hopes for this B&B but it definitely fell short. If you're looking for a "spooky" place this may be it. It all seemed a bit fake to me. I did appreciate the 2 fake fireplaces we had in our room. It hit under 40 over our stay at night, these were great. If you have neck/back problem-bring your own pillows or whatever you need. The pillows reminded me of the deflating hospital pillows. Also, there's a shareable hot tub and we didn't know about it. Maybe because it was off season, things weren't running smoothly? Not sure.

She knows everything Gettysburg and is a most gracious hostess.) The property is very well thought out and appointed. The location is good. The breakfasts were uneven: one outstanding, one pretty awful (a cold Egg McMuffin and cottage cheese?), and one so-so. But perhaps they had a new or temporary cook, because other reviewers did not seem to find this to be the case. We did not find a book in our room with information? Instructions on operating the thermostat would have been helpful, as it got quite cold the third night. Parking is very generous. All in all, we would return, as this was definitely the nicest of the three B&Bs in which I have stayed in Gettysburg.

I didn't ask why, but it was a nice gesture on their end. As a platinum elite member with IHG, they really try to accommodate for their members well. Staff was very friendly when checking in/out and when I was looking around for a plastic fork. This was my first time staying at Holiday Inn Gettysburg and I was amazed by how new everything looked. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker available to use. The bathroom had this large beautifully lit LED mirror. Room was clean and had brown modern minimalist design. Beds were really comfortable and I think they were new since there was a little sign saying "enjoy our new beds." As a Holiday Inn Express, they offer free breakfast. It's just your typical continental breakfast, but they still have some variety (cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, pastries, bagels, fruit). I think the hotel is in a great location, right behind an outdoor mall, about 25 minutes from Liberty Ski Resort, few minutes from the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. These were the few reasons why I decided to book here. The hotel was visible while driving on Route 15, but once I took the exit, it was somewhat confusing to get to the actually Holiday Inn. You have to basically go through the outdoor mall The only complaint I had was the decreased shower head water pressure. The tub was a slippery, but they had a rubber grip, which I definitely used!

There was hair all in them and I smelled them.. they smelled like dirty hair. Fortunately, the bed I slept in I believe the sheets were changed. There is no Internet TV at this hotel so if you want to watch YouTube, or Netflix, you are out of luck. The pool capacity at this hotel is only for nine people.
