We have gotten pizza a couple of times and one time it was really good, the other time it was just ok. Not bad, just not as good as the first time. The cheese and the toppings taste very fresh and of good quality. The crust was nice and brown. Toasty and delicious. A good choice if you are in the Wakefield, Peace dale area. read more

Ordered a calzone for lunch. It was just ok , not much stuff inside it. Bare minimum really. It cost me $18.25 for a small cheese, pepperoni and peppers calzone (there was suppose to be onion in it too but there wasn't any) and a soda. I'm guessing there was a delivery charge in there too, (they didn't give me a receipt) and that's why it was so expensive. It was convenient to have delivery since I was at work but, it's way too pricey for me to do again. Giving three stars for convenience and it tasted ok. read more

Haven't been here in a while but pizza hasn't changed. They used to have a killer deal on Monday or Tuesday, but I was ordering on Thursday. Pizza now cost as much as everywhere else but pizza still the same. It's okay but doesn't taste fresh and on the small size for a large. Plus there is an additional fee above and beyond the 8% sales and restaurant tax, so over 16% for taxes and fees. read more

This place is great! We wanted to try a new place in town and these guys did NOT disappoint. We can be picky pizza eaters and this place delivered. Their crust was nice and crispy but stuff soft, the sauce has good flavor and wasn't bland. The toppings were full of flavor and the cheese wasn't overwhelming. I was visiting my parents in Wakefield last night, and they were like "Kris, you're not even gonna Believe the pizza from this place. We've Gotta order it for dinner!" So I'm like "Free Pizza? Okay Mom and Dad, I'm down." So they ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom. They've tried all the pizza on the menu, and This was what they've decided is The Best Kind There. Sure, sounds good. Order away. Y'all. (Im from Nashville, so I get to say this). This was the Best Pizza ive ever had. And Im 52, so Ive eaten a lot of pies. The cheese... no need to order Extra Cheese. It's already laden. The crust...what? Like, from a heavenly bakery. Perfect sauce. And did I mention how huge it was? The 3 of us ate till we were bellyachin', and there was still a whole halfa-pie left. Which we ate for breakfast. Oh yes we did. DB's Pizza has delicious pizza right in South County. Everything I mean everything is so fresh. Can I start my pizza review with my salad? I am going to just say that it was one of the freshest salads I've ever had, with an arrangement looking like a beautiful piece of art. There were fresh greens mixed around the bottom, in one corner an assortment of delicious olives, and in another corner pickled peppers. The center topping was a warm fresh chicken salad that added a pop of flavor so nice, I barely used the balsamic dressing. Fresh green peppers, cucumbers, and onions garnished a circle around the middle, and it was a heavenly blend of flavor, warmth and cool mix, and a healthy start to the pizza which would soon be consumed. Ok, let's just say this crust, especially around the very outer edge was so perfectly cooked, crisp enough to give you just enough of that baked bread goodness with a sturdy slice that holds all the fresh toppings in place. They even have gluten-free pizza crusts, ya'll! And these GF pizzas stand up to all the rest in texture and flavor, except DB's adds their fresh sliced tomatoes, broccoli, and a blend of assorted veggies that fill your tastebuds with a punch of goodness rolled into a slice of heaven. We will be frequenting DB's for sure, and I'm proud to say South Kingstown has some of the best pizza around. read more

I'm not sure how I never managed to leave a review for DB's, but better late than never. I've had their pizza on countless occasions and have considered them to be my go-to spot for Greek style pizza since I moved back east. For the record, I prefer the Greek style, as opposed to the thinner NYC/New Haven style that all my Jersey friends from college raved about for all those years. The sauce is rich and full. I will order them well done sometimes, to get a nice crisp char on the bottom and a contrast to the doughy crust - but it's usually spot on, even if I forget the "well done" instruction, The toppings are generously proportioned and of good quality. I often find myself ordering on a Tuesday for the ten dollar Tuesday special...all large pies, $10 - one of the better meal deals in Narragansett/SK. I've had the chicken sandwich on a few occasions as well and that is also a top notch choice on their menu. If you like Greek style pie, DB's is a great choice to feed your pizza need. read more

Terrible food, was good a little over a year ago but was sold And the new owner is rude. If you get chicken on a pizza he will cook the pizza and put the chicken in the microwave and put it on the pizza when it comes out of the oven. I saw it while waiting for pickup. Got food delivery and the pizza wasn't even warm, seemed like they left it sitting on the counter for at least 45 minutes. should mention was told 45 minutes for delivery and it took an hour and a half. Awesome and underrated pizza. Highly recommend the Greek cheese pizza. It's really, really good and perhaps their best. A lot will go on your taste or interests, but definitely try their Greek cheese pizza. One of Rhode Island's best. Like with many pizza restaurants, especially ones that aren't corporate, just go pick up the pizza. Delivery is convenient sure, but don't complain about it taking an extra few minutes. That happens with any food delivery service. Get it yourself. Not much atmosphere, but it's not a bad place to sit down and have a bite to eat with a book. Service is friendly. read more

Great pizza. If you will become a regular, I advise against tipping. At least heavily. I was ordering several times a week. The pizza was $12. I'm a nice, laid back guy who appreciates restaurant employees, and always tipped $5 per pizza. On $10 sandwiches, as well. When I went in there, they knew who I was. You'd think this was good. One day, the same pizza was suddenly $24. And then a sub made me sick for 24 hours. My girlfriend ordered the same pizza. It was $12. I caught on and thereafter ordered the pizza under aliases. It was always $12. Sadly, some folks don't respect genorosity. $24 for a $12 pizza? Did the guy assume I was rich and it didn't matter? Some folks insist on being treated poorly. If not, they cannot function. I am now a prick who doesn't tip and my pizza is always $12. I want to tip, but I don't want to suffer my genorosity. read more

Seriously hit or miss. I've gotten great pizzas from here that are ready so quickly I can't leave my house fast enough. Yet last night they quoted 45 minutes for pickup and the place was dead when we walked in. We asked the guy behind the counter why it had taken so long and he gave us attitude. When we got home the pizza was completely burnt on top with black cheese but the dough was still raw in the middle. It wasn't even edible. One side with the mushrooms had completely different cheese than the other side which was just plain cheese. I've had issues with the delivery guy too he has a bad attitude and gets really worked up if he can't find your place even yelling at my friend over the phone. Guess moral of the story is pick up your pizza, check it before you leave the store, and don't take attitude from disgruntled employees. read more
