I was feeling adventurous so I decided to explore DC Donut's coffee menu. First I ordered a Vanilla Frappucino. It was really good, better than Paris Baguette and larger (24 ounce I believe). It comes with two shots of espresso and tastes like coffee. Much better than Starbucks who doesn't even give you a shot in their Frappucinos anymore. My next visit, I thought the coffee was so good in that Frappucino, so I ordered an americano just to see how good the coffee itself was. They are using Gavina beans (not third wave), so there was no fruitiness, but people who like their coffee to taste like coffee (dark roast) should be satisfied. A small americano is just $2.75. For the espresso snobs, they are using a Casadio Undici espresso machine. I will definitely be coming back for another Vanilla Frappucino! read more

Honestly one of mine and my wife's favorite donut shops they make the best croissants and definitely one of the best Vietnamese iced coffees. Their service is always friendly and quick to help. When you place a phone order they even confirm the address to make sure you know which location you call. Just like any donut shop the inside is not all that big but definitely has spots to sit and even has a arcade table where you can play original games while you enjoy you coffee and sweets. read more

I can't believe I've never reviewed this place considering I order from them multiple times a week! Yikes lol I have been a loyal DC donut cafe since it opened. My husband and I met the owners and their son and they were super friendly and helpful. Being that I live less than a block away, I would walk there almost everyday with my dog to get breakfast. Shortly after I injured myself so I couldn't go pick up and did all door dash. They were so nice they even sent me free donuts when they found out I was injured! Since then more menu items have been added but all are amazing. My absolute favorite menu item for breakfast is the number 10. The cross aint is just so flaky and soft and it's made in house! All the more impressive. You also CANT MISS OUT in their freshly squeeze orange juice and their iced coffee. It's to die for! As soon as I opened my container I knew I could not eat this beautiful delicious looking burrito before snapping a picture. This is based on my first visit. This spot is a bit hidden, in the same parking lot as the 7-eleven on the corner of Balboa and Chatsworth. We got a couple of donuts, a orange cream, and mango boba. The bobas were delicious and the donuts were quite tasty. The staff is very friendly and the place is spotless. UPDATE 6/16: as the business mentioned, the ordering is fixed for croissant options! This morning I tried a Coffee Milk Tea and yuuuum! Nothing I've ordered here has disappointed. One question - is there a non-dairy option? It's be great if we could clearly mark this, I leave notes in the comments but and not 100% sure if it's an option. I have ordered from here about 4 times in the last week via Postmates/Uber Eats. I wanted to support someplace local for breakfast and liked that they offered more than just donuts. The servings are generous - I had a breakfast sandwich and got a lunch sandwich, I was full after eating half of each. I also tried their fresh juices and they were delicious! I've since tried the iced coffee (it's not so strong that it upsets my stomach, but strong enough to give me a slight caffeine boost I need some days.) I'm going to have to come by in person soon to enjoy the business, but for now their delivery is on point. One thing of note, though the menu items say "Ham and Egg Croissant" you'll be prompted to select a bread - croissant will not be an option here. I just select a bread I'd be ok with but note in the comments that I would prefer the croissant. I also make the note in the overall order "special notes" too, so that it's in two places. I don't blame the business for this. Once this is fixed I'd happily adjust my review to 5 stars. read more
