The drinks here are consistently delicious! When you walk in, there may not be someone at the counter. However, there is a tablet available to order. We went with our favorite, Sweet Thai and did not change the sweetness level. The Sweet Thai is made with coconut milk and included, jackfruit, logan, coconut, palm seed, red tapioca, pandan jelly, and basil seed. It's definitely a hearty and delicious drink. A must try are the pandan waffles. Crispy on the outside and so tasty. There are a couple of tables inside. The place is a bit worn from when we last visited, but still worth going.

A personal local favorite boba place and a spin off from a franchise. I've been coming here for a long time even before the changes. Simple choices, not a dizzying array of smoothie, milk tea, and other concoctions enough to stop you in your tracks and hold up a long line behind you. The drinks are all Fresh and Good!! I mean fresh as in real avocado and real mango; not powder. The place is tiny, so it looks more like a take out joint As a group, you would fill the whole place as there are only 3 tables with a few seats and a bench. In the summer, there used to be a bench outside to seat whilst waiting for your order. I have converted quite a few of my fellow boba lovers, now they only want the drinks from here. These place gets crowded as it gets hot outside because their drinks are the coolest!!

When you're craving for something sweet with variety, I would recommend coming here! We love the sweet thai and their other varieties because it comes with a lot of toppings/mix-ins already. The creaminess of the avocado smoothie is great, and the boba was perfect-- fresh, chewy, and hot. For snacks, I love the taste of their coconut pandan waffle but do wish it was crispier. We used the self service kiosk to order and wait time was decent-- around 10 minutes with one person ahead of us. Seating is adequate since there's usually not many people that stay to eat or drink. I tend to see more people grab and go.

It's been hot this week so I needed to get some thing to cool me down! I was craving some Vietnamese dessert and DD Mau is the best place locally to get some ché. I ordered the chewy Pandan for myself and a sweet avocado for my sister. The Pandan tapioca was delicious, I love how chewy it was! The dessert hit the spot, not overly sweet and just the right amount of flavor to curb my sweet cravings. I tried some of my sister's sweet avocado and it was equally delicious. I like the self ordering station, place your order, tap to pay and wait for your order to be made. Small business so there's a few seats inside to enjoy your dessert.

This is my favorite place to come for spring rolls! I have had the chicken, steak, pork and shrimp and love them all! You also get to pick from several sauces for each order of spring rolls. Each sauce is flavorful and compliments the spring rolls. I have also had the vermicelli bowl and banh mi sandwich and both were delicious! The vermicelli bowl was so huge it turned out to be two meals. They have many other items on the menu that also look amazing! Service is friendly and welcoming and they have a nice dine in space with plenty of tables. I am looking forward to returning to try other yummy items and of course...spring rolls!

Craving something a little different from my usual boba order, I decided to check out DD Mau, a Vietnamese dessert drink spot conveniently close to home. I went for the Chewy Pandan at 25% sweetness, and it was oh so delicious The flavors were light, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. It wasn't too sweet and not too heavy. What really won me over were the textures: soft, chewy, and just the right amount of bite in every sip. It's such a refreshing change of pace from the typical milk tea scene. Honestly, I might be in trouble... because this might have just replaced my go-to boba fix. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for something new, fun, and totally satisfying.

Wanted some dessert so we searched and found this place, which reminded us of Bamboo. The name also made us giggle. We came here to try it & it did not disappoint at all. Friendly staff & easy to order. Decently size shop & ok seatings. Very pleasant & clean. Menu was easy to follow. A lot of options. Came in on a saturday after lunch for a sweet treat. Parking lot was pretty big and at 50% capacity. Not that big inside, maybe like 4 tables? Food -Sweet Avocado. They're not lying. This drink is so sweet because of the condensed milk. If you're into it then this is the drink for you. Best avocado condensed milk dessert I've had in california in YEARS I tell ya. Perfect place to grab a drink/ dessert from on a hot day! Stopped by after lunch today. Inside was rather small, with several tables to enjoy your beverage/ desert. Well lit and bright inside. I liked the wall with pictures of what they have , it made choosing what we wanted easy. We ordered sweet Thai for me, this desert / drink was amazing and refreshing! It wasn't too sweet and i enjoyed the mixture of fruits mixed in. My boyfriend got the Oreo frap, he took one sip and said it tastes just like an Oreo ( I took a sip and agree) The consistency is a little thicker for a frappe. The staff who took our order was friendly and efficient considering how super busy she was ! There were already a fair amount of customers inside , and our order came out quickly after paying . Yes I recommend this place and I will be going back to try some of their other deserts.

Found this place because of tiktok - its behind gen bbq plaza. Parking crowded especially on a friday night. Theres a self order kiosk which i appreciate to browse the menu. I ordered the coco jelly at 50% sweetness which was perfect. Jellies were chewy n yummy. Wasnt a fan of thr actual coconut pieces- it was flavorless kinda tasted like plastic... but the jellies were good. I would come back i like that u can adjust the sweetness level. DD Mau is a great local spot for Vietnamese desserts and drinks! It's my first time visiting but I can see why this spot is popular for a quick sweet treat or refreshing dessert! The Sweet Avocado was delicious and was made with fresh ingredients, my friends enjoyed their desserts as well. Service was friendly and quick, they have some seating available if you want to sit down to enjoy your dessert. I'm happy I found this dessert spot, it's a great place to stop by after having lunch or dinner at some nearby restaurants.

I am the type of person where if something is THAT good and memorable, I will keep coming back to the same location. This place is one of the few places where I keep coming back for more! DD Mau's desserts are one of a kind, sweet treats! Their desert drinks are delicious and refreshing. Their pandan waffles always come out hot and fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Same sweet owners as before, just changed name! customer service is always fantastic. Terrible service. We ordered two drinks here & keep in mind we arrived when there was only one person ahead of us. There were FIVE LARGE parties that ordered AFTER us and got their drinks first. Not only that, but halfway through the wait the cashier even confirmed to ask what our drinks were so my bf told her & she went to the kitchen. Nothing happened after until my bf finally decided to ask what the hold up was. Turns out their machine didn't register our drinks so we were wasting our time. The cashier didn't ever offer any kind of compensation for wasting our time. I'm annoyed bc time is money people! Small businesses especially should know this. read more

The drinks and desserts here are really tasty! I ordered the Aloe Vera Mango Fruit Drink and my bf ordered the Tarolicious and they were both perfect. But I liked my bf's drink more. If you like bambu, or Vietnamese Che I recommend you giving this place a shot. I definitely will come back to try their other desserts ! read more

I grew up having avocado as a dessert, pairing it with ice, milk and sugar, so when I found out about DD Mau and their Sweet Avocado, I was excited. When I tasted it for the first time, no kidding, I was BLOWN AWAY. It's THE avocado dessert of your best avocado dreams, the crème de la crème, bar none. Creamy, chewy, cold, and as an Asian mom would put it, "not too sweet"--in other words, absolutely delightful and almost perfect. I say almost because if it weren't for the high calorie content, I would eat it everyday. read more

DD Mau is my favorite! I will have at least have my Sweet Avocado once a week at a minimum! Among all the Bobas around I feel like this is the only place the is worth every of my penny and healthy as well because you could actually taste the real avocado not just an avovado flavoring that I've experienced in the other boba place. EXCEPTIONAL!! Food Quality: 5 Stars Friendliness & Attentiveness: 6 stars Richmond and Kim are remarkably kind and hard working small business owners. We have a pleasant tradition of visiting their shop whenever in OC. They have always went out of their way to make sure that our orders are perfectly made. This is by far the best boba shop we have visited. The quality of their dessert drinks is immediately noticable in presentation and taste. They use fresh fruits and real coconut in their drinks and smoothies. Fresh coconuts are cut on site to extract the juice and coconut meat for their drinks. Who does that? Since our children have dairy and wheat allergies, we ask a ton of questions everywhere we eat. We are deeply grateful for the considerable time Richmond spent answering our questions regarding ingredients used in every menu item and then accommodating with our dietary requests. They can make most menu items GF, DF and without sugar. Their coconut jelly, taro jelly, grass jelly, taro tapioca, taro, and rainbow tapioca are all gluten free and dairy free. The coconut jelly are made using fresh coconut water. Their bobas are freshly made in CA. Since they have a few menu items that are made on site using wheat, there is a chance for cross contamination for those who are super sensitive to gluten. We especially enjoy their: -avocado coconut smoothie (GF. Ask for DF without sweet and condense milk.) -avocado smoothie (GF. Ask for DF without sweet and condense milk.) -strawberry smoothie (GF. DF) -strawberry mango smoothie (GF. DF) -coconut smoothie (GF. DF) -coconut mango smoothie (GF. DF) -Acai Smoothie (GF) -Coconut Pandan waffle (has wheat, DF). The waffles are delicious but must be eaten fairly soon after it's made to fully enjoy while toasty warm. read more

What an astounding variety of options! Any craving at all could be satisfied here, whether someone is looking for coffee, smoothies (fun OR healthy), or desserts. I had a fantastic Dalgona coffee that the server was kind enough to gently explain NOT to shake until I'd punctured the lid. (I'd been doing it wrong all along!) You could even get durian here! All in all, such an impressive little place. 11/10! read more

The owner is very sweet and nice. When he finished our drink and waffle, he gave us directions on how to mix the drink and to air out the waffle so it could be crunchy. After an entire weekend of dealing with poor customer service from other places, it was really refreshing and heartwarming to receive such good service from this kind man. The moment we walked in the owner was so welcoming, he came over the counter to show us the new drinks they have on the wall, he recommended the forever young drink. When it was ready he was so kind and explained how to gently mix the ice the right way. I took a sip and omg it was so amazing and very refreshing let alone his energy and how welcoming he was made our experience great. We'll be coming back here again! If you're around the neighborhood, come by and try their drinks. They have so many options to choose from and they all look so good :) read more

Ordered a brown sugar milk tea and a brown sugar coconut milk tea both with boba. Truthfully really disappointed with this place. Wasted money on "tea" that we took a sip of and tossed due to their no refunds for not liking your beverage policy. The girl who took our order seemed like she didn't like her job, she had a very cold greeting. For better customer service and drinks, go up the street to Kung Fu Tea. read more

i love the avocado shake. i went there because i was craving for the avocado shake but unfortunately they didn't have it. the following day i tried to call first but no one picks up the phone i dont want to waste gas driving there but i tried it again and still no avocado, the day passed i tried and luckily they finally have it! . good place but no wifi. please pick up the phone next time read more

The egg waffles are horrible. Tastes like a floor mat that got left in the freeway. They must not clean the waffle iron or they just douse the waffle with kerosine. Had to wait 15 minutes for this nastiness. Eew read more

The best avocado smoothies! The boba is really good too! It's super soft and actually has flavor. The smoothie is thick and perfect. Really filling. Their waffles are good too. The old man that runs the place is nice. They have other drinks that are good too with all sorts of toppings. Sometimes may have to wait a little to get drinks but very worth it because there's only usually 2-3 people working. read more

The desserts are good. There's not too many places you can get drinks like these. However, there was only one person working. I waited almost 10 minutes to place my order and waited another 30 minutes to get my drink. I think it's only taking this long because people order 3/4 drinks because of the opening promo. I would definitely call beforehand so I don't have to wait so long just for 1 drink. It'd be nice if she warned us that the orders are backed up. Otherwise, everything else is good. read more

There was a good crowd, sitting at tables and eating and drinking. They have about a dozen different flavors of macaroons. You can't go wrong with any of them, but my top favorite are the Birthday, Fruity Pebble, Horchata, Cappuccino and Ferrero Rocher. They make nice gifts too, as they can put it in a treat box in an ice brown paper bag. I definitely need to come back and try their drinks and something else from their menu.

I enjoy this place, been here a few times and never had any problems, but today I accidentally asked for a number 6 instead of number 4 and politely asked if it could be remade and was met with attitude about it being my fault for ordering wrong and I had to pay for the second drink to be made. Like I get it but maybe just a "sorry we can't remake drinks" and that's fine. Probably won't come here again for a while, left a bad feeling and didn't even enjoy my drink. read more
