They have good beer, but they charge too much for it in my opinion. I'm willing to pay $10 for a really good craft beer, but not if it's only 8-10 ounces. also, sometimes they will have a good keg in stock but only sell it when they feel like it. That's not very convenient for those of us who look for certain beers on Untapped or other apps that are useful for bringing clients to a bar, only to show up and realize they are not selling that beer that night. If they were a little bit cheaper and more consistent with their offerings then this is one of the best craft beer joints in all of north montgomery county, but they make it pretty easy for me to just go to the local grocery stores and get more variety and product alot cheaper. read more

Really awesome concept that seems like it has a lot of potential but there are a lot of kinks in it. It's extremely pricey. $5 for a small Dos XX that wasn't even cold. And don't even think about going to The Maine lobster truck. You'll easily spend $50 there on mediocre food without even getting full. And have fun fighting off the flies while you're trying to eat. My husband and I stopped in on Sunday to catch the Texans game. Their beer selection was great and the staff was friendly. We ended up splitting a few things from a food truck. While we weren't blown away by the food, it was still a great atmosphere for a football game. We also brought along our dog and without even asking were given a bowl of ice water for her. Awesome outdoor food truck park that offers a full bar! I love the idea of all the patio tables. A group of about 5 of us in our 20's went here the other day. Enjoyed the option of multiple food trucks that offer different cuisines. The open bar had a large list of drafts that included local breweries as well. This outdoor park is also kid friendly which can be a plus or minus to different people. This park offers games such as bean bag toss. Highly recommend for gatherings during the day or early evening. read more

Requested the bartender refill ice bucket next to water. Rather than pouring out the melted ice that people had been putting their hands into, he pours the melted ice into the water cooler that people were drawing water from the drink! Yuck! Are you kidding me. Dogs are allowed. However, I am tired of their owners not keeping from jumping up on me when I am another table. Geez, really. Control your dog! So, if you enjoy dirty water, parents that had perhaps too many beers with their kids on the arms, over-priced burgers ($14 and up!) and $12 cup of crawfish etoufee - this is your kind of place. Went for lunch during the week....I was craving greek food but that particular truck wasn't there so I had the "Misteak" from the Wiches on Wheels truck. It was downright delightful and the bun was amazing...if you like sourdough you will love it. read more

Took 4 adults and I child and it was over $80. I am not sure what I was expecting, but if I am going to spend that much I would like some wait staff. The other night was probably our last at Deacon Baldy's. We were very disappointed in the management at this establishment. We witnessed a young, belligerent male throw his entire beer in another customer's face.The management and bouncer immediately rushed over and claimed they were going to ask this drunken individual to leave. He was still there an hour later (still drinking), playing darts and having a great time. Unfortunately the male, who got the drink spilled on him left, because this was situation was handled so unprofessionally. It was evident that the inebriated male was over served, but I find it interesting that he was able to stay. I have read several other comments about the poor management at this business, and it's such a shame that they can't find a fair, qualified individual to manage. We will not recommend Deacon Baldy's to our friends or family in the future. read more

Expensive! Plan on a minimum $18 to $20 lunch without alcohol or dessert. Great atmosphere and mix of people. Food is great though portions could be larger for the price. If they pull in a lower priced food truck where I could get a reasonably priced good portioned lunch, I'd be a regular. Food trucks advertised online are never there or open. Been there twice (once at lunch time on a Saturday another around dinner time) and been disappointed both times. Love the atmosphere but please have some way of showing who is there and open or what their hours will be. read more

A very unique experience. They generally have at least four food trucks and they change often. The bar is AMAZING. On tap, they have tons of choices if you're looking for the same old or trying to mix it up, they serve wine and also cocktails. There is no table service here to be prepared to grab your own food and drinks but the environment is great and also very family friendly, especially in the day. It's not a place where your kids have to stay seated and be on their best behaviour, there are fun things for them to do here. One of our favourite places! read more

Not somewhere I would want to eat. Food trucks have dripping water (I hope) making it muddy under them, and they just don't look clean. Food was way overpriced. Bartenders were unfriendly. There was a patron there with a pit bull on a leash, right where you go up to order a beer. We were very hungry, but left to eat, drink and watch the game elsewhere. read more

We visited on a Sunday evening. Nice mixture of families with kids of all ages. They do have a playground for the kids, and lots of TVs for the "big kids" to watch football. We had a sausage and pepper sandwich, meatball slider, and polenta fries from the The Lucky Fig truck. All very tasty. Dollar for dollar I can hardly imagine a worse place to spend my money. Drove past this place Sunday afternoon. Saw the food trucks and pavilion and did an immediate U turn to try it out. First warning sign was that the parking sucks. You have park WAY WAY in the back if there are more than a handful of customers. Trek past the broken down food trucks, trash cans, abandoned cars and worst of all a horribly smelly grease trap. WTF?? Lets make people about to eat and drink walk past smelly rancid grease from who knows how many foodtrucks. Should have turned around then but I was out of the truck and I saw food and a bar. How bad could it be? After perusing the food trucks me and my daughter settled on the burger truck. We got a Burger (Hangover I think it was called), onion rings and a kids meal grilled cheese.....$29 bucks. Stick shock for sure, but I figured if its killer food it MIGHT be worth it. While we wait for the food to cook we head over to the bar. After waiting in line behind 3 customers to find out the bar back was taking orders and pouring beer. I wanted a cocktail and he couldn't do it. Apparently the bartendress was on the phone with the owner. So we wait....and wait....and wait... Some other guy that works there comes up and the bar back ask him to make my drink and hes too busy grabbing a putter and ball. Yep he goes off and plays putt putt while the line at the bar gets longer and longer. At this point theres at least 10 people in line with 1 person serving drinks and still no bartender. After almost 15 minutes the buzzer goes off for our food and the bartender FINALLY comes out and guess what..She starts taking orders from people that were there way way after I was. Crappy customer service, over priced and mediocre food at best. Honestly the burger was good...just not $15 good and the onion rings....All FOUR of them were cold, soggy and plain tasting. read more

We ate at WichesonWheels tonight and the food was awesome. My steak sandwich was massive! The sandwich was tender, fried to a perfect crispness and had just the right amount of heat. Everyone loved their food and the kids liked the "loaded" fries, but I loved the corn salad. I'm sorry the pictures don't do the food justice. read more

We went to this bar on a Saturday night. It happened to be raining at the time but the inside was covered. I had a cider which was very good my husband had some type of local poor and he liked it. The beer and drinks were great however the food trucks where not good. The Greek truck served my giro cold after waiting 10 minutes for it. My husband's was also cold. My kids had something from the hamburger truck that had been on Chopped. Their food was also not good. This place is good for having a beer and just hanging out on the inside picnic tables. Unfortunately it was raining so the kids could not enjoy the outdoor games. If you're going to go for a meal and drinks the concept is great however the food trucks are very disappointing. Being it was served on a food truck, the food should be hot and ready but unfortunately it was not. We stopped in for a beer and a snack! We happened to come for happy hour so beer was only $3/ pint. The bartender offered samples of the overwhelming awesome beer selection . They had 4 food trucks at the time. We got some fries from the Greek place for only $5. I thought a really good deal and they were the perfect snack for husband and I. I absolutely love this place so much every place has its own special my personal favorite is the lobster tots at Cousins Maine Lobster. Great play area for kids and has a really big bar. Never had anything bad there. My friends personal favorite is the soup at Beefy's with the sriracha sauce in it. Great place to chill and the choices on the weekend are so good. The idea of this place is good but this was mine and my husband's second time coming here, still not great. We wanted to give it another try and come at 7:30pm instead of the afternoon, hoping there would be less children and more of an adult scene. We invited friends to meet us here as well, that had never been here before. It was very crowded, tons of kids running around everywhere. Nothing wrong with children but I wish there was a designated area. We ate first wanted to have drinks and play cornhole, however the kids were playing in that area, jumping on/off the boards and throwing the bean bags at each other. We couldn't even sit down at a table because the tables were packed. Not just by people but with car seats, diaper bags and toys as well as another family eating chick fi la. I know that part is not the establishments fault but just disappointing that those seats could have been occupied by paying customers. We then decided to lean against the surrounding metal railings in front of craft burger food truck which then got taken over by kids kicking a soccer ball. That same kid jumped over the cornhole railing to chase his soccer ball when a black suburban was reversing into the parking spot, adjacent to the cornhole area. Scared us so bad that the kid almost got ran over. At least at breweries there are signs saying kids must be within reach, this is too dangerous. Cousins food truck served a $18 lobster "roll" to our friend that was on sliced bread. Beefy's food truck was good and priced well. Beefy's also gave discount for first responders! Bright side good beer choices! However, I asked the bartender if I could taste a beer before purchasing and he said no so then I said ok well what does it taste like? He said he had never had it. He seemed frustrated so he said ok here this is all I can give you. It was definitely more than enough, I just wanted a sip. A kid ran out in front of me while I had a full beer from the bar which caused me to spill half of it. After my husband and I spent $60 on beer plus food we went to Golden Retriever pub to enjoy an adult atmosphere. If you want to bring your kids out for a night of drinking and food, I'm sure you'll enjoy this place. I would enjoy it more if they had a designated children's area or parents watched their kids. read more
