Been roughly just over a year since my friends and I visited this place during their soft opening…read more Food quality has seemed to remain consistently good since then! Recently came back w/ my parents as this has now become one of their de facto go-to's for viet food in Richmond Hill along w/ Ngon Corner (replacing Green Lemongrass). They are SOOO busy now as they have a loyal student customer base during the school months (conveniently being right next to Bayview Secondary). They run student deals as well as lunch specials. On this visit, I opted for curry beef brisket rice as my mom told me that she tried it w/ my dad and they vouched for it. The curry was quite flavourful and there were a LOT of big brisket chunks running through the curry so I was pleasantly surprised. Got an additional iced lemon tea for no extra charge which was so awesome! The staff recognize my parents now because they've been going quite regularly lately lol. Gotta bring my friends back again sometime to complete a full circle moment.

I tried the Grill pork jowl with rice because sadly their Hainanese Chicken Pho is only available…read moreduring the weekend but it was delicious! Pork jowl is such an underrated cut. It's flavourful, both fatty and lean, tender, juicy... basically perfect for the grill. There's an option to add an egg, which I skipped. The dish comes with a small salad drizzled in balsamic vinegar, plus some pickled daikon radish and carrots. A small dish of sweet and tangy fish sauce is included too, perfect for pouring over the rice. Fantastic flavors all around. I cleared the plate and would definitely order it again, though they have a lot of other dishes I want to try too. They're currently running a promo where you get a free drink with any order! Not advertised anywhere (from what I saw), they just casually mentioned it after we ordered. The iced lemon tea was refreshing, with sliced lemons on top, and served in a large cup, which I highly appreciate. Not one of those tiny takeout ones that's gone in a few sips. Service is very friendly. Lots of free parking. Just a heads up, they only accept debit or cash.

Delicious lunch! Serving good to share for two. Had a che dessert to finish the meal - not too…read moresweet but satisfy the sweet craving

Tips: - This place takes debit and cash only…read more - The hot tea is scorching hot. A couple of Wednesdays ago, after work, I had an early dinner at this Pho Anh Vu on Highway 7 in Vaughan, between Keele and Jane streets. I have passed by this eatery a number of times since it opened. It was time to check it out. This location used to be Veg Italiano. There used to be a pho place a few doors down. It is now a Turkish eatery. This small plaza does have some turnover. However, the Turkish place and this eatery have been here for at least a couple of years. I hope they remain. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into a vacant one and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a male staffer. I got to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth by the window. I got menus to peruse. There were two other tables with customers. It was nice. Hot tea came to me with two cups. The hot tea was exceptionally piping hot. I used both cups to pour tea into them and let them cool. I was ready to order. It took a long time to get a server to come over. The woman at the counter noticed that I was ready and flagged the male server to take my order. I got these items: - Soda lemonade - Grilled chicken on vermicelli with spring rolls My soda lemonade came first. It was fizzy, cold, and refreshing. I loved it so much. I would get it again in a heartbeat. It also helped me down my food as I waited for my hot tea to cool down. When my tea was finally at a temperature that wouldn't scorch my tongue, it was fragrant and yummy. I loved the grilled chicken. It was flavourful and grilled to perfection. The vermicelli was generous and yummy. The spring rolls were stuffed and crispy. This dish came with dipping sauce that I ended up pouring on everything. I feel that I needed more of it. I paid at the counter with a debit card. I tapped and was good. This eatery got busy after 4 pm. My guess is that everyone came to watch the Canada-Switzerland FIFA game. It got tense in the place. Eventually, Canada lost this game. I used the washroom before I left. It was beautiful and clean. It's a decent location that serves good food. The tea was too hot. Service started off slow, but was a lot better once my order was place. I'd love to return to try more items off the menu. (280)

Found another Pho place somewhat close to home! Photime is located in the same plaza where the T&T…read moresupermarket is at the Northeast corner of Woodbine and 16th & is next to the aquarium store. The restaurant is well-lit, clean, spacious & modern looking. Parking in this plaza is relatively easy since the lot is huge! We went on Christmas Eve around 6:15 p.m. The place was pretty quiet and we got seated right away. I ordered the Bún bò Huế. The broth was rich & spicy with good layers of flavor although on the oily side for me which probably has to do with chili oil. The bowl is full of noodles & ingredients making it fulfilling. My friend got the special beef pho large size and he said that it is very good. We also ordered the crispy spring rolls. We both loved this as it was a bit different than what we are used to. We believe that there is taro in the roll which makes it so yummy. I really liked the decor of this place! We both agreed that this is definitely a place to be included in our rolling list of Pho restaurants to eat at!

The chicken satay was disappointing but overall everyone enjoyed their meals. Bring cash or debit card!
