Not many dining choices in this area. Ample parking and a large dining area with tables efficiently serviced so that they turn over quickly. The large staff worked well together and seemed to make everyone feel comfortable. The ambience is southern, hometown casual. You feel like you are visiting your large family from start to finish. My husband and I had two large dinner entrees with water and our bill came to just under $24.00. Our portions were generous as evidence in the photo. Our waitress recommended the grilled pork chops which were hot, juicy and seasoned just right. They came with two veggie sides from a long list of choices. I chose collard greens and Mac and cheese. These items were just average and only luke warm as was the biscuit (from a choice of about 5 bread options). Had the sides been hot and a little more flavorful, I would have given 5 stars. For vegetarians and all-day breakfast eaters, Cooper Pot is your place; so much to choose from on their menu. Vegans might struggle as most southern cooking includes dairy and it looks as if they cook their sides in large quantities and keep them in a warmer to serve. There are ways that the food could be packaged to preserve some of the heat. The meat should be wrapped in foil to keep the styrofoam box from making it soggy. I give them place a solid 4 because the food is amazing, service is fast, employees friendly and the atmosphere is great. My favorites are biscuits. Before I moved to NC in late 21 Hardee's was my favorite. It seems others agree its very noticeable if you go in the morning at this location because Biscuitville parking lot will be overpacked while Hardee's next door only has a few cars here and there. Both are great restaurants, biscuitville is just on a totally different level when it comes to breakfast. Back to my one complaint, the chaos; there is no clear system in place and when the place is packed it's hard to determine where the line starts or exactly how it moving both inside and drive-thru. It is often so congested with lack of proper lay out or communication that customers are left to develop their own systems which does not end well. I don't go when it's like that anymore for this reason. I do take advantage when is not congested.
