Great views on the deck of the water. The mussels were incredible - I could drink that curry broth. The chowder was so so - Not my personal favorite chowder. The rare tuna tacos were pretty good but my friends got the haddock tacos and I think I would have liked those better.

We went weeks ago, and I'm STILL thinking about their lobster carbonara! We went while visiting Gloucester, and Decklyn's did not disappoint! We took advantage of their 1/2 price raw bar happy hour and indulged in delicious fresh jumbo lobsters, oysters and clams. The rum bucket was fantastic, our kiddo was pleased with her pasta, and I am in LOVE with their lobster carbonara! It was so, SO good!

We love Decklyn's and are so happy to see they now have the tuna tacos from the C.K. Pearl menu. This is one of our favorites dishes on the North Shore. You absolutely need to try these tacos. 5 stars!

Was in the mood for a frozen drink. Someone suggested we go to Decklyn's. Greeted with friendly staff and a nice spacious , clean restaurant. We sat on the deck. Both appetizers ( haddock tacos and calamari ) were fantastic. Nice location - Will definitely go back to try a few things on the menu.

56 years of exhaustive research for the best steamed mussels ever and last night I found Valhalla in Decklyn's MUSSELS. Steamed and served in red curry, coconut cream, corn, and cilantro broth with crostini. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. My husband and our friend shared two dozen raw oysters and especially raved over the mignonette sauce. We also had lobster bisque, lobstah salad, beef brisket, ribs, and fried clams. Props for Allagash White beer but the Beachwater cocktail (vodka, elderflower, pomegranate, pineapple, cucumber, and basil) is a must. Seriously though, I'd fly back from the Pacific Northwest just for the mussels and broth. (We sat outside on the deck to enjoy a lovely summer evening. Our server was friendly and attentive.)

I went tonight for the first time with the new owners. It was great to see a familiar face behind the bar. The menu is a little strange for our area, doesn't make too much sense- snacks, to share plates, 3 sandwiches, burritos and tacos??, and then plates. I ordered a fish sandwich. Cost $15. I ordered it figuring like most sandwiches in most restaurants would come with chips or fries. Nope pictured below is what arrived. A sandwich on a side plate. Not only that the sandwich only has tomato on it- the menu mentioned Cole slaw and tartar sauce, neither where to be found. The fish was cooked well and they use Virgilio's bread. I hope to see some changes before summer arrives, including some side with a sandwich.

Fun on the deck with friends!

Best Clam Chowder ever. My husband has the haddock sandwich and loves it too. Also has great outdoor seating on a beautiful marina.

To start, the atmosphere is ideal for a beautiful summer night. It was airy, clean, lively and so inviting with twinkling ceiling lights. My family of 5 loved the overall decor. We also loved the view, ocean air and beautiful breeze as we ate the delicious food. We felt like we were on a Cape vacation. The food was just as satisfying. My husband said the baked haddock was the very best he's ever had. My Mediterranean salmon was also outstanding. My mother and sister raved about their appetizers, including jumbo shrimp, clams and steamers. Everything we ordered was excellent. I was especially pleased with the serving size. Some restaurants have a nice presentation, yet small serving size, but not Seaport, it had both. To top it off, the Sherry Berry is a dessert everyone must try! Perfect finish to a perfect meal. In addition to the restaurant itself and amazing food, the service was excellent. We were greeted by the extremely friendly manager, Carter, and were well taken care of by our personable waitress Kristina. She was so attentive and pleasant throughout our whole meal. Kristina was so busy, but she made us feel like we were her only party! By the end of our meal, we felt we made a friend during dinner and we will be back to see her requesting her table! Can't wait to return!

The onion rings are low breaded more tempura style and still have some bite left to them, making them easier to eat than ones that have been fried to an inch of their life and come out in one piece from breading that could stand up on its own. These were refreshing in an area where deep fried food can leave you feeling heavy for hours. The bang bang shrimp were delicious, similar battering and frying with a thai chili style sauce. It is not very spicy, but the problem was deciding on what kidn of salad dressing to get with it on a salad. I recommend not getting the salad and just an order of shrimp with ranch. The salad was romaine and parm shavings. No other vegetables to speak of, but the shrimp was phenomenal. Additionally the lobster comes with butter, wet naps and an additional tray for the shell as you work your way t hrough. A nice setup, a nice view, and good food.

At $45 per roll, I want transcendent, fresh, buttery lobster. This was not it. The portions were large and they looked delish but the lobster was chewy and rubbery. The experience was also...not great. Grumpy lady at the register. They've set 18% tip as the default option on the register, which is annoying for serve-yourself counter service. Honestly, it felt like a tourist trap especially with the "as seen on TV" signage for Wicked Tuna near the entrance. As a MA resident, I was a lil embarrassed that I made such a bad choice for my first roll of the Summer.

Looks like they are generally open 9am-6pm daily, sometime early May through year end. Order at the counter inside their little shop, pay, and head down the little alley (hold on tightly to your stuff so you don't accidentally drop anything enroute) to their back deck with limited seating, and access to their bathrooms. Listen up for your name and they will bring you your food on a tray. A family of three shared the 3 chicken lobsters for $50 during the 2025 season, and a dozen raw oysters for $30. My single lobster was $18. Single oysters $3 apiece. Creamy clam chowder $7. Stuffed clam $3. The $30 cold lobster roll came with cole slaw and a bag of chips. The hot dog roll looked small but was well filled with fresh sweet lobster meat. Her smoked salmon $8 were two thick chunks of fish. My hot in-shell boiled lobster arrived several minutes after, pre-cracked. Carefully poured out the green water, and I went at it. Making use of the sink by the bathroom afterwards to get cleaned up. A delicious way to start our outing to Rockport! BTW parking in the nearby area is paid and seasonal. Head to the kiosk, enter the license plate, pay an affordable price, and stick the slip on your dashboard. Parking tickets are no fun.

Nicely portioned, flaky piece of fish with fresh lettuce, tomato and thinly sliced onion. The fries were crisp, hot and salted perfectly. The tartar sauce was predictably if uneventful at best. The fried shrimp and fish n chips were cooked perfectly and portioned well. The ambiance was nice, decor is contemporary nautical, elegant and tasteful. As the crowd gathered, the noise level became unbearable. Couldn't hold a conversation without shouting across our tiny table. Our server was pulling double duty as bartender and handling two tables across from the bar which was unmanageable for one person. Service was slow... like really slow. 120 min for three fried entrees and one app. and we weren't in a rush but it took forever. I felt badly as they could have easily turned this table 2-3 times more than they did. Beer was cold. Ice water was aplenty. Food 7/10. Service was polite and friendly but slow as molasses. They need a full time bartender asap at least for weekend evenings when it's busier. For some added yet unexpected entertainment a rude senior was addressed by the manager for clanging his silverware on a glass for no reason other than to be rude and annoying while trying to get the attention of his server. This caused a bit of a stir because he raised his voice in disdain to being criticized for not acting appropriately. His childish tantrum was handled efficiently by the manager. She admirably suggested he leave the premises which would have been supported by the other patrons. Those present seemed to think an apology by this customer to the server for being disrespectful was in order but that didn't happen. Just an unfortunate event for an already struggling staff trying to shake things out at a newer business. The server didn't deserve this at all. I think they will be fine once all cylinders are firing.
