    Dellish!

When I First started eating Indian food. I've always had to have meat in my diet, but when I came to this place, I humbly accept it. I don't always have to have meat in my diet when I eat here I enjoy every veggie dish! Great Customer Service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am grateful for the outdoor dining option as well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean place to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Deedee's Dhokla's are soft and delicious. They also offer lunch thali plates and the food is fresh and light. This is our go to place to order vegetarian food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not a fan of their service and ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is more like a place to order and pick up food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also available on DoorDash.

The restaurant is a vegetarian buffet style place offering some very well made, homestyle dishes that warm you up from the inside out. Nothing is too spicy btw, most things they serve are more mild in the spicy range but still have an option or two if you prefer no spiciness to your meals. When you get to the food line, you can ask one of the workers behind the counter about what the dishes are and they always have good recommendations. So if you're unfamiliar, just ask and they will politely guide you to some very delicious food. As you eat your food, they will also walk around and deliver freshly made roti to your table if you'd like. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming and it's very relaxing to eat there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is also a patio area that is a little under utilized by the customers but we prefer sitting there and eating in the fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a very humble little place with delicious food and a very clean establishment to eat in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When in doubt of where to eat for the night, we usually end up here [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, they allow dogs in the patio area if that is a restriction for you![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Weekend Thali - Rajasthani Dal baati, gatte ki subzi, aloo tikki, shrikhand, churma, matar paneer, pulao, aloo gobi, rati, hot roti, methi roti Food was good albeit the variety wasn't as expected. The price point is a lil high for the atmosphere and variety. Shrikhand was delish. Hot roti served on your table is unbeatable service.

Wow if I could give a place six stars I would!! The lunch buffet is awesome the food is fresh and deserve to go also from the same Buffet. It's vegetarian food but extremely good and not over salted. They will bring you fresh rotis fluffy and soft on the side, Just like mother made! Don't miss the desert: Shrikhand is a thick creamy and delicious Indian dessert made with strained yogurt, powdered sugar, cardamoms and sometimes saffron & nuts. The lady will bring fresh wrotethe State table every 10 to 15 minutes

Every time I eat here, I feel like it's home cooked meal prepared with love.

Very nice and home cooked meal taste. Fresh and clean, the puranpoli is a hit and miss. But paani puri is delicious.

Look at the rates for 2 buffet and extra charge for card payment!
    Ramnath S.

Just okay food- exorbitantly expensive! They charge almost 18$ for veg only buffet- provide plastic plates, no service, you have to also throw away your plates! High end restaurant rates for a hole in the wall! Food is simple, nothing fancy. We had to ask many times to get rotis to our table. Also, to dine in buffet is the only option! We were also charged $1.55 extra since payment by card! Seriously!? Will avoid.. if you are looking to donate some money, please go here!

We started with the Guava Chaat, which was amazing. It was served cold but was incredibly flavorful and refreshing. The Andhra Chili Chicken was another standout--a delicious take on Indo-Chinese chili chicken with bold Indian flavors. We also had the Paneer Tikka, which was incredibly soft, well-marinated, and packed with flavor. My favorite appetizer was the Vada Bao. The bao was perfectly fluffy and filled with delicious Indian-inspired flavors. We also had the lamb chops served on a hot stone, which were excellent and cooked beautifully. For the mains, the dal was good, and I especially enjoyed the saag paneer. We also tried the white butter chicken. I was expecting something more like the classic Chawla-style white chicken, but this version was richer and heavier than anticipated. It was still good, just different from what I expected. The service was attentive, the ambiance was lovely, and the food was creative and flavorful. Overall, a very enjoyable meal, and I'd definitely return to try more of the menu.

After being seated, we waited 15-20 minutes and no one came to take our order. When we politely asked if someone could take our order, the person who responded spoke to us in a very rude and disrespectful tone. We were shocked and disappointed, especially because we are regular customers and have supported this restaurant many times. What made the experience even worse was that he told us, "Leave the restaurant, I'm the owner." I could not believe that the owner would treat customers this way. As a business owner, you should treat customers with respect and professionalism, not hostility. The customer service was completely unacceptable, and the attitude we received was extremely disappointing. We left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. The chicken tikka was perfectly seasoned, with a good kick of spiciness. I will say, the oil did seep through the naan wrap, so it was definitely a bit messy to eat. Everything was just wonderful, and the food alone gets a solid five stars from me. Complex flavors, just the right amount of heat. Papadum, tandoori salmon, lamb saag, and gajar halwa were outstanding. The staff, unfortunately, looked inexperienced and standoffish. We came in at an off-peak time. The place was nearly empty, so it was not like they had their hands full. As we were going through the meal, not a single dirty plate was taken away from our table. When we finished dessert, all the used dishes from the appetizer and main course were still on the table. That was so odd. It was rather hard to get the attention of the servers. At one point, a server who had brought our dishes before was standing in the back of the room and looking straight at me. I tried to summon him first by making eye contact, then by a meek hand wave, but he redirected his look a little away from me and just continued standing there. We were brought the wrong dessert and realized that only after we started eating, but decided it would be too much hassle to get it replaced. We live very close by and will likely come back for takeout, but not for dine-in.

After reading several positive reviews and learning that they serve Kolkata-style cuisine, we were genuinely excited to give it a try. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost full. The host greeted us warmly and asked us to wait while they cleaned a table. Within about five minutes, we were seated, which was a great start. To begin, we ordered jaljeera, fish fry, and chicken chop (cutlet). Unfortunately, the jaljeera was disappointing. It tasted like water with a little chaat masala mixed in--the bold, tangy, refreshing flavors that make a good jaljeera were completely missing. The fish fry and chicken chop, however, were excellent and easily the highlights of the meal. Both were perfectly crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside, and tasted fresh. We also ordered a double egg chicken roll. As someone who absolutely loves Kolkata-style Frankies and rolls, I was probably most excited to try this dish. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of the evening. It lacked the authentic flavor we were expecting, and we honestly couldn't finish it. We ended up leaving most of it on the plate, which is something we rarely do. For our main course, we ordered mutton kosha with luchi. The gravy was flavorful, but the mutton pieces were overcooked and quite chewy, which took away from the dish. Service was another disappointment. Throughout the meal, it was difficult to get our server's attention. We had to get up from our table multiple times just to ask for assistance, which made the dining experience frustrating. Overall, I really wanted to love this place because authentic Kolkata-style food is so hard to find. While the fish fry and chicken chop were genuinely excellent, the rest of the meal and the service didn't live up to our expectations. Unfortunately, this isn't a place we'll be returning to.
