We are in town for a wedding and missed the morning continental breakfast at the hotel. The restaurant at the golf course was recommended as a place to have a mimosa, so off we went. We decided to share the Chorizo & Avocado with eggs breakfast. I have to say, I think this is THE best breakfast I've ever had! Came with black beans, sour cream, potatoes, and feta cheese. Huge serving, too! The rest of the menu looked really good - we had a hard time choosing! The restaurant is really nice with a huge bar and covered patio with a view of the golf course. The management at this restaurant is lacking knowledge on what Customers Service means! We had a group of eight (4 couples) for lunch, we requested separate checks for each couple.The manager said "NO", a group of 8 could only split the check evenly. Two of the couples did not have alcoholic beverages and did not want to pay for them. Other restaurants (McPhee's or Guest House Grill), we frequent, always let us have separate checks for groups of this size. The service was good. The food was okay , a little pricey for what you got. We went to Deeds for lunch with 3 other couples. We asked for separate checks since 2 couples were drinking alcoholic beverages and the other couples were not. The waitstaff informed us that groups of 8 or more can not have separate checks. We talked with Alex (manager) and he reiterated the same policy. Alex and the waitstaff told us that we would be able to use 5 different credit cards when it was time to pay. When we got the bill we were determining what we owed. The waitstaff came over and informed us then that we can use 4 different credit cards, but the split has to be the same amount. What has happened to customer service? I used to advertise Deeds as a great restaurant. I felt the food was good, prices ok, and atmosphere good too. If their policy doesn't have the customer in mind, then I will take my business elsewhere.​ read more

Puzzled to see this place as only 3.5 Stars here on Yelp. We had lunch here on 5/18/2022, at 11 30ish AM. Got seated pretty quick on the outside patio area that has large screen TVs ( LA Dodger's had a daytime game happening) and a screened covering that was brought up to be open about halfway through our lunch for whatever reason. Place got pretty busy and packed in a hurry. Kayla was our server and she did a good job considering how many tables it appeared she had to cover. I had the Seared Ahi Tuna Sandwich, with onion rings, and my typical diet soft drink! She was thoughtful enough to drink me a small pitcher so my glass never went empty! Sandwich was $20 but a good value considering we were eating at the Paso Robles Golf Club. Would certainly return! Pros- Kayla was a good server! Food was out quick after we ordered. Not rushed, able to sit and enjoy for a short time. Place was clean, and restroom was spotless. Seared Ahi Tuna was done just perfect for what I like. Brioche Bun had a pretty perfect toast to it, done well. Cons- Not a huge parking lot, so keep that in mind when arriving. read more

Came here for the first time on Sunday morning. The service and staff are awesome, everyone is very friendly and polite. Clean and accommodating especially since we are in COVID still. Wonderful food and drinks. Had Bloody Mary's and their Avocado Brioche with an over easy egg on top.......delicious and very light. The scenery is great since it's literally off to side of the golf course where the 9th and 18th holes are located (if I remember correctly). read more

The food was pretty good but the service was very poor. It took 20 minutes after we were seated before anyone took our drink order. They forgot to bring our appetizer. Because we were waiting for so long, our kids were being loud and were definitely out of line. Rather than politely ask us to quiet them down, the manager walked up briskly and curtly said "can you control that?" and then walked away. I told the server that I disagreed with his tact and that I'd like to speak with him on my way out in hopes of finding common ground. He actively avoided me and I wasn't able to work it out with him before I left. At a minimum, I do not recommend bringing young children here if you do decide to come. read more

This was my first time at Deeds. The place is beautiful! Multiple televisions, large bar, great location to take in Monday night football. Much to our chagrin it ended up being silent night football. No volume! I was told I could be provided with a website and headphones to listen to the game. WTF? The manager told me if he turned on the volume people would cheer and become too loud. We would have spent more money, however; the moronic silent football game policy pushed my group out the door to spend money elsewhere. That being said our server Gabriel did an excellent job taking care of us and the food was excellent, so it made silent night football more palatable. In the end, all was calm, all was bright. Hopefully a new manager will change the policy as this bar could be a premiere spot to watch sports. I definitely recommend going to this restaraunt to eat, but not to watch sports. read more

We had dinner here on Thursday, April 15. As with our previous experiences, it was very enjoyable. Food was delicious, server was excellent, and the ambience on the semi-enclosed patio was very nice with a relaxing view of the golf course. The regular menu mainly includes appetizers, burgers, tacos, bar type food. But most evening there are dinner specials. That evening one of the choices was a pork chop dinner -- excellent. Went there a few weeks ago and was sad to see that staff were not wearing masks. When we asked why we were told that management told them they weren't required anymore. People at adjoining tables were told the same thing. Covid is so contagious now that I hope they rethink this. read more

We would give them more stars, except for petty charge they add "condiments" when you order additional different salad dressing with large salads or additional same dressing with side salads. At least tell the servers to let patrons know about additional charge when they place order. Salads here average $16-18 and sandwiches are similar. We can't imagine why they need to charge extra .75 for additional dressing! Never been to a place where this was an issue. I have not met a bad server or bartender here. They are fast and friendly and make for an amazing experience. The food is delicious the drinks are even better. We love this course and restaurant and eat here every chance we get. David, Dennis and Fred run the bar and do such an amazing job. We feel like regulars every time we come in. I've enjoyed coming here with my dog for breakfast on weekends. Usually I am treated normal, it would be nice to be offered a bowl of water for the dog but that's ok. This time though I was treated like I was a nuisance to them. Although they were busy with larger parties, a single guy with his dog didn't seem to cater to the dollar signs they'd hoped for from larger crowds. The manager was going to sit me down at a large table and I offered to wait for a smaller table so as to not take up more room than I need and leave that for another large group which seemed to soften the manager some. Yet I still was given the wrong order, my waitress left without closing me out and then when I went to the front to pay I still tipped and realized later they'd over charged me for the thing I'd ordered and didn't even get and yet I still gave them $52 for that and two drinks. I know I'll be more careful how I spend my money next time. Great food though, better off to be in a big group if you go. read more
