I was in the mood to try something new and Yelp suggested this local small business. Everything was great. Greeted as I entered and he picked up I was a new customer and walked me through the options and reheating as I was getting it to-go. All Empanadas come with their infamous chimichurri sauce. I got the Argentine, Beef Classic and Pizza Pepperoni( I couldn't resist) All were amazing! Small yet filling as I ate half of each for 2 days and they reheated spectacularly. I went to Del Campos hoping for great things based on the pictures. But everything was far and beyond my expectations. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the Argentinian beef and the guava cream cheese. These are the best empanadas I have had. I think this is the best food in Lakeside and one of the best places in DFW. I'm so glad they opened in Flower Mound. The service was excellent. Please be patient as they are often very busy because they are so good. And English is a second language for some of the staff. So, please be nice. read more

My friend and I walked in like 20 minutes before they closed and they greeted us so warmly and geniunely. I got their spinach empanada & the caprese one & they both looked and tasted amazing. Both of the chimichuri sauces were also absolutely fantastic. I also got one of the little cookies with dulce de leche in it (I think they are called alfajores?) and OH MY GOD it was so good. PHENOMENAL! Probably the best empanadas I've ever had, including in my 6 months living/traveling in South America. We initially ordered 6 empanadas and 2 coffees and literally got 2 more rounds. The empanadas are delicious. My favorite is the Argentine Style Beef. I just returned from a visit to Chilé and this is very close to the ingredients of a Chilean empanada. The Spinach is good too. They heat them up for you and you should eat them as soon as possible. Also try the medialunas. A croissant with either vanilla filling or dulce de leche. They're a tasty and light desert! Right when i walked in, the place was packed... the staff were friendly, greeted me. I ordered quickly and they asked if i wanted them warmed up and I said yes please. After much anticipation, we were not disappointed. The empanadas are absolutely delicious from the perfectly baked dough to the fillings. We tried both beef options, the ham, and the chicken. Es terrible soportar un mesero con mala actitud, si no les agrada este tipo de trabajo no deberian hacerlo! En fin no volveria, no es para mi! Prefiero un lugar de buena calidad. Primera vez en ese lugar la comida ok, la calidad regular y la atención muy mala. O el precio es justo por lo que recibes!!!
