Now I've pervious performed at and attended over 100 open mics, at different bars, venues, houses etc, and believe me when I say this was one of my all-time favorite. All the musicians were super talented, the host was a pro's pro, and the audience were incredibly supportive & engaging. The space just felt warm, friendly and had a calm yet electric buzz the entire evening. Also, the bartender, Penny, really seemed to set the tone for the entire bar. She is extremely welcoming, witty and just an all-around positive person. You can tell she really enjoys her job and makes sure that her patrons are having a good time. I was sticking to non-alcoholic ginger beer all night and she only charged me $2 each, how kind is that?! All in all, a true gem of a bar with an open mic that I will 1,000% return to.

He informed me that there is no set time for collecting the fee and that it is entirely at his discretion. I respectfully asked him to clarify how that policy is determined, but he refused to provide an explanation. When I asked for his name, he responded that he "doesn't have one" and immediately ignored me, turning his attention to the next customer approaching the entrance. I found this interaction to be extremely unprofessional and discourteous. My concern is less about the entrance fee itself and more about the lack of transparency and the dismissive manner in which my questions were handled. Customers should be treated with respect when asking reasonable questions about a business's policies. Since he refused to identify himself, I have attached a photo of the individual. Because of this experience, I intend to share my concerns with management. Unfortunately, this interaction has left a very negative impression, and I do not plan on returning.

I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.

The structure of this restaurant needs a serious overhaul. Complete lack of competence, was lied to on the phone that my order was "almost done" when in reality needed to be completely remade and I was further to wait an hour and a half for what was essentially lukewarm soggy food(Chipotle fries and Lobster quesadilla, but like if white castle made it). Even had a call from uber eats further confirming the restaurant had given my entire original order to someone else and that the restaurant was at fault. 2nd time our Del Fuego order was completely misplaced due to incompetent employees (that aren't afraid to directly lie on the phone when asked about an order you placed). No apology, no discount, not even an honest "hey we screwed up", sticking with Burrito Palace from here on out. read more

I visited last night and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. From the moment I walked in, everything went smoothly--I was seated right away, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. My server, Jessie, was absolutely fantastic. She struck the perfect balance of being friendly, polite, and genuinely funny, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Although I don't drink alcohol, I still love a good mocktail, and the blueberry drink crafted by the bartender, Joe, was absolutely delicious. It had just the right mix of flavor and freshness. My friends and I love Del Fuego . They typically have a wait on a Saturday but we sit at the bar to start . My favorite drink is the watermelon margarita . Hands down the best one ! The hostess had our table ready so quickly, she was so sweet . Our server Felicia was so nice and attentive she had great recommendations.Warning the salsa they give you is a little spicy . Del Fuego is the best spot in town if you're looking for tasty Tex-Mex. The tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and margaritas are always perfect. This eatery also offers specialties throughout the week, like Margarita Monday, Taco Tuesday, and Wing Wednesday. Empanada tasted and smelled like the beef was old. It was primarily filled with air and the pastry was far too brown. We also ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, which was the furthest thing from white meat. The chicken meat is small crumbs of dry, VERY dark meat with seasoning - can't even be called chunks or pieces, it's chicken crumbs. Pico tastes good but the tomatoes were nearly white and there was just a sprinkling of it on the bowl anyway. Same for the lettuce and rice - they were just filler, not tasty at all. Guac was great, however the chips were way too thick and burnt. Service was fine enough, but I ordered takeout and then sat while my food was cooked and no one really went out of their way to say anything to the one customer in the place. I felt that more attention could've been paid to service and quality food prep seeing as how they were very clearly not busy. Not the best, not the worst. Doesn't warrant another visit for sure.

I went all on my own and quite enjoyed it, but it feels like it would be the perfect place for a casual date night or a dinner with friends. I didn't see the outside dining section but the inside was really lovely - very classic decor, music and lighting were both at good and unobtrusive levels, and clever use of half-walls and some good sound dampening decor kept it so that the tables all felt very private. Waitstaff was very attentive, friendly without ever being overbearing, and sounded like they were all bilingual in both Spanish and English. I got the mango mojito and was very pleased. Great mango flavor without compromising on the mint, and was still a pretty strong drink that left me a liiittle bit tipsy on the walk home. I also got the Arroz Con Pollo, which was comfort food incarnate. Took at least 5 minutes for the dish to stop steaming enough for me to actually start eating, so despite the fast service you can tell it's all freshly made. Those 2 things together came out to about $42 before tip -- a tiny bit more than the prices listed on older menu pictures on here, but still felt very reasonable, especially since the serving size was large enough to bring home my leftovers as tomorrow's lunch. This was my first time coming here but everyone else I could hear sounded like they were regulars, which is always a big vote of confidence. I very well may become one too!
