Beautiful restaurant with great service and delicious food! Enough room outside for our team to sit together (benches and table seats). We ordered almost all of the small plate options and every single thing was DELICIOUS (check out the pics)! My colleagues ordered cocktails and wines and said they were good. I asked for a lemonade with strawberry added and it tasted fresh squeezed was it was a little on the tart side but after adding some of my water to it, it was perfect. I can't wait to come back to Palm Springs with my hubby. It would be a perfect spot for a romantic date night. The hotel where the restaurant is located is pretty special too!

What a find! I almost don't want to share ... Very special atmosphere in this remodeled Spanish restaurant in a lovely boutique hotel in Palm Springs. Outdoor seating looked lovely. We sat indoors in a plush booth, across from gorgeous tiger wallpaper and a beautiful and unique gold mirror. Mood lighting and private. Our server Kai was delightful throughout our meal. We asked questions and he answered all of them knowledgeably. We had: grilled artichokes (3 halves) with aoli and a green herb sauce bombas - fried mashed potato balls with manchego inside ensalada - with ham, cheese, oranges, pistachios gambas - shrimp in garlic sauce All of the dishes were well executed, flavorful and beautifully presented. I would order them again but would also try some of the others that also looked inviting. Will try outdoor seating next time. A keeper.

    Sardine plate for happy hour

Come in for happy hour! I got the sardine plate and it was beautifully plated and delicious. Drinks are also great I wish I tried more. My boyfriend and I loved it we are definitely coming back when we are in Palm Springs.

Little hotel is hidden by some beautiful hedges. The little plaque out front lets you know you are in the right place. Lobby is rich and beautiful and sexy. Walked through the hotel and the pool to get to this restaurant. It matched the vibe of the lobby. Dark, rich and sexy. All of the staff was attentive and helpful. This place is tapas style so we ordered quite a bit. The Barajas bravas, the bombas, meatballs, ensalada de temporada and broccoli. Everything was so rich, delicious and flavored perfectly. Every dish seemed to have a lot of flavors going on that all worked perfectly together. This place is a definite must visit.

We attended their once a month paella that they offer by reservation only Oct - May. Staff was amazing and I loved they introduced the staff at the start of the night. They started on the patio with appetizers of stuffed dates and steak bites on toast. We then moved inside to our own table that had a personalized card greeting us. Every course was thoughtful and tasty. We overall had an amazing dinner that lasted almost three hours. All I can say is if your not sure - its worth it. I cant wait to maybe stay at the hotel and try some other offerings.

I don't know what it is about this place but I cannot stop thinking about it. Every single dish we had was amazing. We genuinely loved each dish and ordered seconds and thirds of some - the shrimp especially. The service was wonderful and don't get me started on the ambiance - it is PERFECT. We are very tough critics and coming from NYC have copious amounts of lovely restaurants around us yet ever since returning home from Palm Springs I cannot stop thinking about our dinner here. Del Rey is perfect in every way, by far our favorite meal in Palm Springs - if you are in town definitely stop by.

I really enjoyed the tinned fish selection. Just wish they would provide better air conditioning... it was hot and muggy in the interior dinning room booth.

    Great cocktails!

From the second we walked onto the property I knew we were in for a treat. Gorgeous ambience, vibe, and decor. Our service was fantastic and the food was five stars. Loved the craft cocktails as well - just delicious! The albondigas were my fave tapas we had - we ate them way too fast to snap a picture but amazing flavor. This will now be on my must visit every time I am in town. Great spot!

My friend recommended Del Rey & it did not disappoint! From the lobby to the pool space, the hotel grounds were beautiful. Such a pretty little path leading back to the restaurant. Inside we had the cutest tucked-away corner booth, even though the tables are close together it still felt private & it was quiet enough to carry a conversation. Loved the moody but elegant speak-easy vibes! For four people I think we ordered 7 shareable plates & ended up absolutely stuffed! Everything was great, it was hard to pick a favorite...Would definitely recommend adding the crispy Jamón wherever it's an option, we added it to the bombas & it was SO good! The cocktails were as delicious as they were beautiful. Never had an old fashioned served with manchego, but it was a great pairing! Our server was attentive & friendly, she really made it a wonderful experience. Finished the night with the bread pudding & basque cheesecake, hardly had room but it was worth it.

Come for happy hour before our dinner. The bar was nice , cost and classy also service was great as well . Our drinks were great . Our bartender was knowledgeable helping us pick the drinks. We might comeback again for sure.

    Shrimp
    Baret S.

Warning on food and price! Sister restaurant of Bar Cecil, ordered cheapest bottle of bubbles $70 and the shrimp appetizer $38 for 5 extremely over cooked shrimp. Asked if they could fire up 5 more shrimp not overcooked and the next round had 1 shrimp not overcooked. The servicer was nice and couldn't believe they messed it up again and agreed on the over cooking. The broth and bread was good though. Manager seemed to be a little out of his league and wanted to stand at the front with 2 hosts already standing, not busy at all. Feels like a hotel restaurant trap because not much food in walking distance and guest probably get forced to eat at restaurant.

This meant Marilyns everywhere, including the waiters, which made the experience that much more fun. Aside from that, we had made reservations ahead of time thankfully, because it was BUSY. But we were sat just as soon as we had arrived, and despite it being very hot out at the time, they had a bunch of shaded spots with misting fans. The drinks were fantastic, including mine which was a zero-proof mocktail. We all ordered different chicken dishes, and each one received high praise. I was able to try each of them and I was very happy with my fajitas, but I gotta give the nachos their dues. They were just as good. Chips were crispy all the way through, and not one was soggy from all the ingredients. Loved it, will definitely be back when I visit again. Id also like to mention that we chose this place as my friend's Bachelor Party closing dinner, and he couldn't have been happier. He was so thrilled with how the weekend had gone, that dining at Clandestino's really was the cherry on top. Thank you for making our dining experience such a pleasant one.

Soft curves, organic lines, warm light. Nothing rigid, nothing forced. It feels sculpted rather than built. I had been eyeing it since it first opened and never made it in, so finally getting there felt like closing a loop. I was lucky enough to grab one of the three exterior seats at the bar window, and that alone is worth the visit. It is this perfectly framed little perch where you sit half inside and half outside, watching the street while still feeling connected to the space. It is intimate, understated, and just very cool. I ordered the birria tacos. They were rich and flavorful, clearly well done, but almost comically small. These are not tacos you linger over. These are tacos you appreciate and then they disappear. If you are actually hungry, plan on ordering more than one round. At a certain point the live Latin music begins to drift through the space, and everything clicks into place. The lighting, the textures, the sound. For a moment you forget where you are, or at least it stops feeling like Palm Springs. That is really what this place does well. It does not try to overwhelm you. It creates a mood that feels considered, transportive, and just a little more cosmopolitan than what you typically find here. And Palm Springs could use more of that.

It was a little bit of a wait (45 minute), but we were able to sit in their waiting area and enjoy some wine. We snagged 2 spots at the bar, and were greeted by a very friendly bartender named Haley. We started the dinner off with cocktails. Haley makes incredible cocktails and had great suggestions on the menu. 5/5 service and ambiance! Steak Tartare: 5/5. This was the perfect appetizer to start our dinner experience with. It wasn't heavy, was fresh, and the chips had the perfect amount of salt on them. YUM. Escargot: 5/5. I LOVE escargot and can't get enough of it. It was cooked perfectly, was flavorful, and the toast on top was just what I needed. Who doesn't love carbs and snails? Cacio E Pepe: 5/5. We knew we wanted a steak, but what is a steak without a pasta side? It had just the right amount of sauce and flavor without overpowering the steak. On its own, it's an excellent dish, even for the pickiest eater. What a wonderful dish! Steak + Fries: 5/5. We needed more protein. This was a perfect addition to the rest of our meal. It paired well with the pasta dish. We elected to have it cooked medium-rare, and it came out cooked to the ideal temperature. We shared a bunch of dishes, which is definitely the way to experience the menu. The cocktails (not pictured) were fantastic--whether you're in the mood for a timeless classic or something a little more whimsical, there's something for everyone. The escargot was beautifully prepared and made even better by the perfectly char-grilled baguette that came alongside it. The steak tartare was an absolute flavor bomb with great seasoning, especially paired with the house-made potato chips. It leaned a touch salty, but in a way that made it the perfect appetizer and somehow had us ordering another round of cocktails. The grilled artichokes were simple, smoky, and delicious. The red curry mussels were served with that same incredible bread and an aromatic, deeply flavorful broth that we didn't want to leave behind. The smoked pork chop was another standout--beautifully charred on the outside while staying perfectly juicy inside. Beyond the food, the service was fabulous, attentive, but not rushed. The atmosphere is quintessential Palm Springs: stylish, colorful, well-lit and a lively environment overall. It made for a memorable birthday celebration, and everyone in our group left happy. We'll absolutely be back.

My review is only about Food and Service. This may still be a great place for Drinks but I'd recommend staying with just that and not getting any food. We were there for their Friday Brunch. We got the Bodega Sandwich, it was okay, not worth the $22 price point. I got the Manila bowl w/ a Fried Edd $30. Everything about this was bad. The majority of the bowl was just made up of rice and pancit, the chicken karaage was covered in sambal which threw off the entire flavor of the bowl. Just not worth it at the 30 dollar price point. I ordered a side of sourdough toast, it was $4 dollars for one slice of toast and they gave me a Smuckers Jam along with it. I found this silly for a couple reasons - 1. you gave one slice of toast and 2. for the vibe and aesthetic of this place you can't provide housemade jam? Service was horrible. After waiting for 15 minutes, a server came up to us and said 'sorry thought someone else would take this table, what do you guys want to order'. Overall, save your money.
