My husband sat in line for over 20 minutes with a cranky toddler in the backseat... and get this, there was only ONE car in front of him. Apparently, the driver ahead was conducting a full-on accounting audit through the window, handing over multiple receipts like they were filing taxes. And did anyone think to ask them to pull ahead or (heaven forbid) go inside? Nope. Let's just hold the entire line hostage instead. Brilliant! I hate leaving bad reviews but this location is 1 star. Sad I'm leaving a second bad review but absolutely necessary. Unfortunately this is the closest location near my house and uber eats picks up from here. My uber eats driver asked the del taco employee twice if the order was correct cause the bag felt light and they said YES when in fact is was missing items! This poor lady drove back and got it for me after me trying to call del taco and being hung up on every time or them not answering. CORPORATE if you see this, check this location throughly because they mess up orders ALL THE TIME and don't ever apologize or feel bad , in fact they make you feel like you have inconvenienced them! Went through the drive-through and for my complicating ass order. Honestly they fucking nailed it 100%. It was quick it was bomb. It was hot. It was fresh. I don't know what the hell happened to the Del Taco but holy shit. It is amazing good job management. One of my favorite things to get here is three chicken tacos make it bold put it in a bowl no tortillas it is super delicious especially because it has the sauce. Bugs and bug parts were literally in my food!!!!! I came here with the kiddos for lunch after leaving the zoo for a quick bite before traveling back home today (10/10/22) at around 11:00 am. The food was made ridiculously fast and I thought nothing of it. Upon opening my nachos I thought they looked a little odd but I was so hungry that I dove right in. I noticed that the jalapeños were old and had no flavor at all, the beans tasted like something other than beans and upon my 4th bite I noticed the bug and bug legs in the chips/cheese as if it were cooked into the food. It was obviously dead. I began to have a sharp pain in my stomach and felt terribly I'll the rest of the way home. I was afraid to open the lid in the coke to see if anything was in there as well. The kids mentioned that their fries tasted stale but they were hot as if they were reheated in a microwave. Drove back through drive through and asked for a extra one since I had to go back. Ordered take out last night (approximately $60). I got there 15 past scheduled time but food wasn't put together yet. No biggie. I was the only customer in the restaurant so I wasn't concerned about having to wait long. When they gave me my order, I asked the gentleman if everything was in the bag. He assured me that it was complete. Came home and realized they missed 4 tacos. I tried calling several times but nobody picked up. So I drove back and told them about their phones. The lady (manager?) asked me what the problem was and then she ordered the cook to make the tacos. She then placed the tacos in a bag, put it on the counter and yelled, "your order's ready." I attempted to ask for hot sauce but they already walked away. Eventually she (manager?) came back and gave me some hot sauce. I was patient and forgiving, but it would have been nice to simply acknowledge their mistake with an apology. For example, "Sorry about that. We'll get your tacos for you" would have been sufficient. We had always preferred for seasoned turkey. But every location has a General Manager. General manager John Holguin and his crew went above and beyond after, they felt he should personally ask my fiancé and I, if we would always prefer our chili sauces' made with fresh turkey and red sauce, instead of the normal choice of ground beef chili. read more

Just pulled off the 10, heading into Rancho. It was getting late and I was hungry. There... Ahead on the left... Yes! It's Del Taco! I stray from the usual Taco order and ask for a bacon Double-Del. It takes a bit longer to make, as the patties are cooked fresh to order! Yada yada yada... I'm home and feeling groovy. Time to reach into the bag and remove the burger. It's still warm! I pop open the box and bacon-scented stream greets me. So good. Now I'll cut to the chase: best burger ever. No joke. No hyperbole. Best. Burger. Ever. The lettuce and tomato were cool and crisp, the cheese was soft n melty, the bacon was crisp, and the patties... Oh the patties were juicy and flavorful. Two for $5 burritos, no cheese. Waited ten minutes with one car in front of me. Drove up to the window and waited five more minutes. Four cars behind me at this point! The male employee who took my order was chatting and joking with someone inside the restaurant. Finally he handed me my food, which I checked before I left. Both burritos were cold. WAY below HAACP temp! I tore a triangle out of each cold tortilla, re-wrapped them, put the receipt in the bag and handed them back (two minutes just to get his attention because he was playing again).
