20 min in a fast food line with only 3 cars ahead is crazy. Still in line and can't back out so who knows how the food is.

I haven't been to del taco in a hot minute. Ever since my husband went us to get us dinner and they wanted almost 56$ for such little food. So we stopped going. However my client wanted del taco and usually the food is pretty decent. However their drive thru line is ridiculous long it took over 40 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I got to the window. And then they still messed up order forgetting items. Which as I was ordering each persons meal get done with first one she repeats that and how much and thank you I was I have two more and again the same thing. She had our order right at first then when she repeated it again as fast as she could she missed an asada fry. The small fry we ordered was cold. So at the window I have to ask for another asada fry. Some of them seem like they don't want to be there. However it's their job leave your attitude and negativity at the door. With no one in the dining room, the drive thru should have went a little faster. Whom ever is making the schedule needs to realize you may need an extra person or two for the dinner rush. I would have left the drive thru lane however they have you locked in. Let's work on being a little faster please. read more

I kind of hungry while catching up with DVR episodes of RHOSLC. One of the ladies mentioned how much she loves Del Taco, which reminded me of how much I love Del Taco, so off I went. This location is usually pretty busy in the early evenings, so I was expecting a long drive-thru line. Not this day. I ordered the Fish Taco combo which is my usual go-to order. Today, I also added 2 Del Tacos. The fish tacos never disappoint for being cheap fish tacos. My 2 crunchy tacos were excellent. It's not often that their crunchy tacos are not broken by the time I get home. It must have been a good day at the DT that day...no broken tacos, with fast and friendly service. read more

The fish tacos were great I got the 3 for $7. and a coupon for butt 1 get one free well I was charged for two which didn't make sense bc for .42cents more I could have gotten three for 7. This place is hit and miss at times regarding their service and the presentation on the food. The plus is the drive thru goes quickly even if there is a long line, but your taco or burrito might be jacked up. The cheese may be sparse, the lettuce might have some brownness, the chicken might be clumped on one aside or you might even be over charged for the taco Tuesday and Thursday specials. Yet, when in a hurry and not wanting Taco Bell this is a good substitute for me because they have fries!!!! Not just any fries, but thick crinkled fries!!!!! I like to put a few in the grilled soft tacos. Ohhhh and not to forget the crispy tacos, let's just saw where's the crisp???? They are simply breaded without out a side of crisp SMH. My niece was like they were smaller than her hand, but the habanero crispy taco she said it was pretty good because of that sauce. Drive thru is horrible. Had 5 cars in front of me. I've waited 30 minutes to move up one car. There seems to be no urgency, employees are chit chatting in back . For the prices being paid these days, if you value your business, you better get people who want to work. I would think $20 an hour is a high enough wage to expect more from employees. read more

WARNING. I know someone that worked at this place for a few days and quit. They said that cockroaches were absolutely swarming the food.. especially the tortillas. The other employees serve the food still after cockroaches have been crawling on it as if it's no big deal. The manager made the excuse that they had just sprayed and that's why all the cockroaches are swarming the food, but if they had just sprayed shouldn't the cockroaches be running somewhere else away from the restaurant or dying... disgusting. Stopped for breakfast 5/26/12 - I usually don't try new things but craved something spicy. So I ordered two crunchy tacos and a Chipotle chicken soft taco ($2.88 total - how do they do it??!!) Service was fast. I will not order the soft taco again. Odd taste to the chipotle sauce. Waaaaaay too much of it. And it definitely wasn't spicy. PLUS, I felt ill for hours afterward. Not bad enough to blame on the meat, but definitely was something I ate there so it had to be the sauce. I have a stomach of steel - nothing ever makes me sick. Which makes me wary enough to never try to soft taco again. Since the crunchy tacos were so good (so much more lettuce and cheese than a regular crunchy taco from Taco Bell - for less $$$!!!!!), so they only lose one star for my upset stomach. Serves me right for trying something new. Also - *almost forgot!!* - I liked that they had a big sign saying "Go Meatless" next to their veggie burrito option. I was very hesitant to go to this location turns out I was correct. My spouse as well as I have been in the food industry for quite some time, the issue seems to be the lack of listening skills. I had to re-ordered twice and unfortunately it was still wrong. The second time I did not correct I took the quarter of the order that I had originally placed then drove to the location in Visalia to get the rest of my order. I know the bar is low for a fast food worker but come on. I also want to know if the parking lot was empty and no one was in front door behind me in the drive-through And you could tell the one soft taco I did get from my order had been sitting there for a while do to the texture of the tortilla as well as having to rapidly go to the restroom not even 30min later So thanks for the food poisoning that was nice cap to the end of my day. read more

For a fast food place this one is super slow. I may have picked a busy time, 1 o'clock on a Wednesday, but there was a line of at least 6 cars so I walked in. That was no better. When I ordered my number was 13 and they just called number 3!! Ugh!! The lady bagging the food just kept saying.. Ignorant illiterate staff refused to accommodate people with mobility issues It was 9:15 pm and the staff was cleaning up and had half of the restaurant closed for cleaning which is expected. The staff was putting up the remaining chairs on the side which was open. Only 4-5 booths were open, there was 2 tables out in the center aisle with one chair down. I went to pull down 2 more chairs and cashier lisa stopped me and said I would have to use the booth. I tried explaining to her that I have health issues that prevent me from sitting in the Booth. She was rude arrogant refused to listen so we asked for a refund. My Wife asked her can show me any written policy in relation to this, any posted signs for cleaning? There was none After we left she then locked the doors at 9:22 and put up closed for cleaning signs and started turning away customers to cover her self. Del Taco is so amazing! They have great prices and great deals, like taco Tuesdays and Thursdays. Went to Del Taco while we were Black Friday shopping and wanted to try their hamburgers as a joke. Great food, as good as in Visalia, some of these reviews are funny, there grading the workers when you here to grade the food. Fast food industry goes through so many employees and managers you can go back in a month and there mostly new people. They have a inside play area for kids. read more
