Where do they find these people! Horrible staff and unhelpful. The food is always cold if you go after hours. I took a bite of a chicken soft taco, and it was practically frozen in the middle. I have been to many Del Taco's in Southern California - but the Del Taco at Winchester(79) and Benton Rd was the dirtiest and worst customer service I ever experienced at any fast food restaurant. I actually asked to speak to a manager and as it turns out she was one of the rude/unfriendly people I wanted to complain about. She then told other staff she was off ( from behind a wall) when I asked to speak to a manager... I will never go back to this Del taco #1006 And because of it will now look at drinking fountain, floors and tables before ordering, or just walk out if staff are unfriendly. This is the fifth time that I've Pride to eat at Del Taco off of Benton Road and I do not recommend anyone ever going there ever again. This time they told me that they were cleaning the fryers for the night so they couldn't make any churros dessert french fries fish tacos Etc. Last time I try to get Note 8 for my kids and their machines were down for the night 2 hours before closing. Two weeks ago I ask for a cheeseburger with no pickles and I got extra pickles no cheese and the day prior I ask for a hamburger no pickles and I got cheese and pickles. Seems like they don't care about anyone and they're always trying to close early which is ridiculous because I work late and Go Tacos one of the only places that should have food. I've been to this location a handful of times and they have always been on the slower side. Today, Saturday at 4pm, my husband wanted Del Taco so I went here. There was no one here. One person in line in front of me, but he got his food and left as I pulled up up the window. We sat at the drive thru window for 15 minutes! For one order, for one person. Ridiculous! And no one inside apologized or gave an explanation...nothing! They wouldn't even look at me. So, if you're looking for fast food at a fast food place.... go somewhere else. Yeah yeah it's Del Taco I know but had to write a review since I haven't been to one in a while. This location is very clean and well maintained. The crew working this evening was amazing. The line is as long as the Starbucks line at 8 AM but they are accurately and politely taking orders and pumping them out. I had one item not make it into my bag but I double checked and got it. Mistakes happen and a service industry job is extremely stressful especially with the tense environment we have right now so hopefully we get better at forgiving minor flaws and not add anxiety to anyone's day. read more

I have frequented this location many times in the past, primarily using the drive through. Today I went into the Restaurant....This place is so dirty. Employees hair not covered while preparing food, employees not even wearing gloves when handling food! I asked one employee why no one was wearing gloves, the employee said the store ran out .... no trash bags in the receptacles. If this is the way this place is run on the surface, I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes......I feel sick that I ever fed my family food from here. I will never eat here again! Had the best mobile order drive thru pick up service tonight. Big order, lots of little fried shrimp, after 10pm and Omar dished up some quality customer service topped with clear communication. I come here regularly and Larry always sees to it that his restaurant is clean and tidy; inside and out!!! Staffers like Emilia & Maria are always cheerful and nice. Helpful too!!! I go to Del Tacos all around SoCal but this French Valley location is the worst. It's close to home so I give it a try to see if anything has changed in the last year..nope. If there isn't anyone in the drive thru, they still make you park out front for 10 mins. They won't give you a receipt without asking if they know their slacking. I have supported Del Taco almost my whole life. It is my favorite fast food. I love the green sauce. I also love the fact they don't put lard in their beans. The staff is always friendly. I can't understand the reviews! The food here is great and the service wonderful! We're retired and come here often with our grandchildren and the food and service is above average! This place is always packed and the drive thru always has long lines. We just bought a home in Spencer's Crossing and this Del Taco is very clean and neat. This place is so disgusting in every way, it's filthy, and food is never great, but the worst thing of all is how the manager there treats his employees. Larry, the manager (made sure to look at his name tag) was yelling and swinging his arms around like crazy at an employee, this same employee got a Quesadilla THROWN at him by Larry in Larry's fit of rage. This is unacceptable and I sincerely hope that employee sues for abusive behavior. Myself, friends, and family will never go to that location until this manager is no longer employed there. I will be making a phone call to corporate bright and early tomorrow morning in hopes Larry will be FIRED and that this is investigated. I am so upset and just plain disgusted. read more
