I have never left a one-star review before this but after the truly absurd interaction we just had in store, I feel compelled to in order to encourage people away from this store. We placed an online order and, when we arrived to pick up, they claimed that they never received the order. Even despite showing them the email we received from their own website (not a third party side, like GrubHub, their direct website), we were told that we could not receive a refund from them and they would not make the order. The only course of recourse offered by the manager, Maria, was to "maybe try and get a refund." We have used their online ordering on innumerable occasions prior to this without any difficulties and the individuals in store didn't provide any help in getting assistance from their own mistake. So we are currently out the over $60 we spent on the food, have not received any food, and I've broken my own history of having never left a 1-star review due to the ludicrously awful experience we just had at this store. read more

Decided to have farmer boys for dinner and I ordered the cinnamon-roll French toast platter with a side of fruit. My fiancé got the 3 pc kickin strips and a double cheese plain. My fiancés food was great. I get mine and the French toast tasted soggy and doughy. And there was no flavor. And then I ate probably 1/4 of my fruit and just randomly noticed this grape that didn't look quite right. Happened to be in the area and since it had been awhile since we have been to a Farmer Boys, we decided to have dinner there for the evening. That evening, I ordered their BBQ Chicken ranch salad. You have the lettuce, hard boiled egg, fried onion,cucumber, choice of grilled chicken or fried breaded,tomato,bacon, bbq sauce and ranch! This bowl of salad is incredibly hearty and a nice flavor with the ranch and bbq. For an appetizer, my daughter and I shared their zucchini sticks and they're huge! Nice and crispy on the outside while l war and tender cooked zucchini on the inside. I'm wouldn't call this place fast food as it took Some time to get our food but we all enjoyed what we ate and our bellies were completely satisfied. The dining area was clean, the workers there were nice. I need to find coupons to this place though. Okay after reading all the bad and some good reviews I decided that since I have never really eaten at this Farmer Bros, I would give them my honest review. Decided .... let's do the drive thru since a lot of the complaints centered around speed of service and missing items in the order. I ordered the Fiery Fried Chicken Combo that comes with the Free Cold Vanilla Brew Coffee. Thought, hmmm that's a good deal. The sandwich is @$6.50 so the total should be a @$8-9 for the total with the free drink. When the drive thru person said $11.73.... I thought WOW this must be a HUGE SANDWICH! Man I couldn't wait! So the wait was @5 mins which is not bad for fresh hot food. About 3-4 cars in front on me. Making my way to the window, I paid with my card and the server handed me this @8 oz cup of coffee that looked like a coffee with cream add (see pictures). Next she had a huge bag and asked if I would like condiments, I declined and she handed me the bag and I drove away. Well I must say to my disappointment, the sandwich was smaller than Jack in the Box chicken sandwich. It also had some weird spicy sauce that did not taste very good on it as the spread. The chicken is very flat and it did no come with any veggies or nothing. Just a toasted bun, weird sauce and a chicken patty. At least add pickles! Sorely disappointed for the price. The fries were also a small amount. Fries are very cheap in overall cost and a good filler if you are going to serve a flat patty with bread. My honest review is that they may have some good products on the menu and some of the visits have been good but I think the concerns are warranted and the reviews and concerns seem valid. So my overall star review for my visit is below: Speed of Service: Food Quality: Value for $: Overall score: 1.7 out of 5 Might I suggest that the owner look over the Yelp reviews. Well that did not happen the girl in drive thru gave me a faded receipt with an X crossed on it. She clearly created a receipt that would not work so I drove back up there because this wasn't the first time. When I got there she clearly didn't want to be bothered with me so she had another worker help me. The worker was kind and attentive and printed out another receipt that also did not work. He blamed corporate but I know by his demeanor he was feeding me BS. He then said their printer is messed up and he couldn't help me which is NOT good customer service! Pay attention to the workers their attitudes and your receipt because they are responsible for making things right! And not putting it off on corporate. We live in an area not too many options. One day I was coming home the opposite direction and I passed by another farmer boys and requested the same breakfast burrito, when they hand it to me that burrito was heavy, i was so curious, I took couple of bites and my god i been missing out! The burrito was stuffed with eggs, cheese, hashbrown and pica, it was so good! I was weirded out, and nicely the next day went back to the other location, I explained the situation to the manager, he looked at me as if i was from another planet and said "that's weird, I been working here for 3 years and i never heard of such thing, do you happen to have your receipts he asked" I was no I don't carry all 3 years of receipts, he handed me my burrito, no apologies, no will look into it nothing. I went back the next day ordered the same burrito and nicely told him that I felt he didn't handle the matter appropriately, and i wasn't asking for a free food or compensation, I was only bringing it up to your attention. He was so angry he slammed the drive thru window while inwas still speaking, he slammed it so hard I thought it was going to break all over. He gave me my burrito looking at me very rudely his eyes were tellingme to never come back, i was so disgusted, when I went home, I threw the burrito in trash thinking he may have spit in it. I myself love the Parmesan crusted 1/2 pound burger with crispy fries that's very consistent. Service is kinda fast, it's only slow during rush hours and there's not enough staff to produce faster. When they rush, more than a couple of times, my order is missing something. One day my favorite salad bbq chicken salad was missing the sliced egg. Another time, my lady's salad who she ordered with no tomatoes and cheese arrived with everything in it. Although they make a mistake, they have no trouble making another one. A recent pick up order also ordered without tomatoes and cheese were also missed and my lady who's allergic to it did not get to eat it and went to bed hungry. I rarely get a receipt when spending more than $35 at this location. Several months ago, I spent over $80 to feed my family. It was our first time here! We were a party of 18! Five kids, Five teens and eight adults! To put that into perspective, we had the round booth in the corner and the booth to the right of it and put two tables together. It was a spontaneous family get together and it turned out perfect!
