Their motto is "Fresh Food Served Fast", pretty sure this location did not get the memo. I waited 30 mins inside the dining area on a slow (literally for them) Sunday late afternoon and it still took a snails pace to get my food. The bun was stale on my burger and this was not the quality of food I'm use to receiving from Del Taco. I will not be going back to this specific location because my time is valuable and doesn't need to be wasted on food that will eventually end up in the toilet anyways. It's bad enough we are still dealing with COVID-19, but to have someone try to embarrass you for wearing a mask is crazy! I went to this location late last night and the person working the window decided that was the perfect time to say "I thought Covid was over", because I was wearing a mask. When I proceeded to say that I have a baby at home, she cut me off and said oh so your conscience, oh I get it, you haven't convinced yourself, oh I see... or something like that. She used all this sass and hand gestures too with smirks and basically said "oh you're one of those"! I could take it no other way. It took all I could not to tell her off and I'm not one to allow someone to mock me, but I was so shocked I couldn't even speak. It went on for a good minute too. Not sure what prompted her to think this is what to say, but it was foolish. Wish I had of gotten her name! Two stars only because I rarely go here and 1 out of 3 times I have was just fine. Then there's the time I went and they ran out of soda so didn't want to sell me a combo. Cool, I get it, not your fault and thank you for advising me about it before I ordered. But this time, "welcome to Del Taco, what can I make fresh for you?" "Yes let me get a..." "one minute" "huh?" So when she comes back on I order. Confused about the cutting me off after asking for my order but maybe something was going on, who knows. I get to the window, "$9.04" I hand her $10.04. "Sauce?" "No thank you" stuck my drink out the window, didn't even look at me. Ok maybe she's really busy although I see no cars in the drive thru other than me. Or maybe it's because it's almost 10pm and she's going home. Stick my bag out the window, I grab it, she says "thanks" and closes the window. Ok again maybe she just wants to go home or whatever but come on. At least acknowledge me. Welp in check my bag while pulling away (something I should really do in the drive since this always happens) wrong order three quarters full fries, a barley wrapped burrito AND the fries are half cooked. Went to this Del Taco for the last time today. We got in the drive thru at 7:59pm and only ordered nachos (basically chips and a side of cheese sauce) and an order of beans. It took 23 minutes to finally make it up to the window where we requested to speak to a manager. The manager lady was rude and acted like I was bothering her because I was complaining about their "not so fast" food. I believe I spent more on gas waiting the 23 minutes in line then I spent on the food. Then after not getting anywhere with the rude Manager, we get our food only to have no spoon or fork to eat the beans with. The owners of this location should be embarrassed. Went through the drive thru around midnight last night. Ordered a well done quesadilla (that was severely undercooked), a couple chicken tacos, nachos and chili cheese fries. We asked the guy for hot sauce at the window paid and left. Everything seemed pretty standard for Del Taco until we opened the chili cheese fries and found that the employees had shoved a handful of hot sauce INSIDE the box...right on top of our food! Wow. 2 bold green burritos with extra cheese, for some reason this location can't get them right. Burnt beans, hardly any cheese, NO bold sauce and hardly any green sauce. I couldn't eat the second one, my dog wouldn't even eat it and he eats his own crap. Update: I continue to go here and it's really hit or miss. I either get a nice hot flavorful burrito or just dried up beans I have to cover in hot sauce. It's been another 8 months and this place has totally changed. It's awesome every time I go there. "They were probably busy!"..... not so much, 10:45 am with one car ahead of us and two people inside the restaurant.... consistently slower than the rest of the Del Tacos. So glad i'm not alone. I came here yesterday and found a piece of plastic in one of my 3 tacos. Advised the Manager I would return tomorrow (today) omw home from work. I get there and there is no Manager on duty but Dylan says he could help me. Told him why I was there, he looked my name up in the book and said he would replace the 1 taco. I was like don't you want to see the taco (I brought it back). No apologies or nothing. The person who originally took my order had intended to replace all 3 tacos but Dylan said no just the 1. Really?? No compensation but a replacement taco and a drink. Uhhh He finally did decide to replace all 3 after another lady asked me what the order was. As I was leaving Dylan writes his name and the store # on a piece of paper and says "Here is this in case you want to call in a complaint. It's up to you". Seriously!! I was a Manager at Taco Bell for 12 years. We've always replaced an order and refund the $ too especially if there was a foreign object in the food. Customer Service what is that? I've been going to this Del Taco for years now, since I live in the surrounding area. I honestly haven't had a problem with this location until these last few months. I've gone through the drive through a few different times and they always are out of something on the menu, not to mention out of mild sauce... Like really. One night they were short handed and took me half an hour to get my food. Not to mention I saw the only cook in the back munching on food while he was cooking at the same time. This is the only good Del Taco in the Temecula/Murrieta area. All the other Del Taco's rip you off. The staff is always friendly, especially that old lady that works there... she is a "joy" to come and see. This is also the only Del Taco that keeps it's dinning area clean.
