This is by far the worst mexican food I have ever eaten. The beef was dried out, so dry it was crunchy. The shells are greasy but at the same time extremely crunchy, way too hard to eat. Customer service was trash. No greeting when I walked in. I ordered the Chilaquiles weekend special. He did not offer me no meat so I thought it didn't come with any turns out the sign outside said it comes with my choice of Pollo or Carnitas, also ordered a Carne Asada burrito, wanted pico, sour cream, rice, beans, and cheese and guac. I wanted to like and support this taco shop, as I believe the owners are locals. However, the amount of times I've had my order screwed up in the drive thru is insane. I started going inside to order so I could check the bag before I take off but the customer service is horrible. I've had the unfortunate privilege of being "greeted" by the rudest, passive aggressive woman at the counter every single time. The last straw was when she didn't even wait for me to walk up to the counter to grab my order; instead, she slid it toward the edge of the counter so I had to run and catch it. Just OK. I came here in search for a great BRC burrito (beans, rice and cheese), and I left a little underwhelmed. Perhaps it was the proportion of the ingredients. The tortillas that they use for the burritos are huge -- they overwhelm the ingredients. A good BRC burrito has lots of mushy beans, soft rice and melted cheese. This had those things to some extent, but you couldn't tell because the tortilla was large and it was all you could taste. By the way: The BRC burrito here is called the Team U.S.A. Burrito. Just FYI. The good thing about El Burro using such large tortillas is that the burritos are very big. So if you want a burrito that can feed a large hungry person, or a burrito that can be split in half and feed two regular people, then this is the place to get a burrito. The menu here is vast. I only ordered burritos during my visit, but it feels like there is every Mexican food permutation under the sun here. I got six burritos (three of them were just beans, rice and cheese), and I walked away paying almost $100. This was my first visit to this Taco Shop. Grabbed a quick lunch on our way home from an outing. We decided to give this place a try . We ordered at the drive through and were surprised at the variety and large number of menu items. Attendants were patient and helpful at providing recommendations and answering questions. We ordered some fish tacos, burrito ,a steak and shrimp bowl and some cheese fries. The food was good and the portions were generous. My hubby and I were pleased with the quality of the food. We are not big fast food eaters but in a pinch, we would definitely return for a quick bite. read more

As I am writing this their sign states it's open, their open sign is illuminated, and they won't accept any orders, I pulled through the drive through at 11:40 and they refused to serve me. Went to this El Burro location tonight. The lady taking my order didn't seem to care about making a good impression. Her cold attitude matched the tacos that I opened at home. I live a little far from this location but I don't think that my taco meat would still be refrigerator cool by the time I got home. It was a colder night but the heater was on in my car. I can't even hear the up without ruining the guac on them and microwaving styrofoam for these tacos is not worth the cancer. I originally went in looking for Menudo because I'm sick but they only had the remnants left and they're usually out by the time I showed up according to the cashier. Updating this review. We now live close to El Burro and have eaten here probably 20 times in the last year or so. Would be 5 stars if they were a little faster but the food quality is good. Still not a huge fan of the refried beans but my wife enjoys them. Tacos are good (hard shell, chicken or beef). The kids taquitos are a perfect small plate. The combos are good with the rice and beans. I'm always full after we eat here. The best thing they have is the red sauce. Simply amazing. I use 2-3 on each taco. My MIL prefers the green sauce. Not a fan myself but I don't like green sauce so I'm not a good judge on that one. Seating is decent. Nice booths but not a huge location. Typically we just use the drive thru and eat at home so it's not a big deal. read more

Hello El Burro... I went there to pick up some food after a long day of driving. Nobody inside, but there were a few cars in the drive thu. The person at the counter was very nice, even though she seemed overwhelmed. She was handling it pretty good. Just for that I left a $2 tip. I had to wait to place my order, no big deal. I understood. The food didn't really take that long. She asked what kind of salsa, I said red. I grabbed the 3 items of food and left. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD!!! You can get F'ed with carry out, not just in the drive thru!!! When I was riding away, I thought of checking the food, but I didn't. Sheesh. I ordered 3 items and I got 3 items.
