After waiting for another 30 minutes the guy said he went outside to look for me and forgot which car I was in which was a complete lie. We were the only ones ready to order but had to wait. They did peek out to let us know it would be a few minutes. We ordered out Monster Chorizo Burrito and added sour cream and asked to have it cut in half. There was very little cheese maybe 1 teaspoon in the whole burrito and NO sour cream. This used to be my favorite burrito because of the cheese and amount of chorizo. Now it is just egg and tortilla. When you ask for something cut in half it is usually also wrapped separately or double wrapped. No, just a small piece of foil that is falling off by the time we got the burrito home. This taco shop used to have good service and food but the quality and service have gone down as the prices have gone up. read more

What a surprise a customer gets when you have it to go (Take Out). When a restaurant fails it always starts with poor service and food and this is one of the those times. The restaurant was empty at lunch time and l was warned that the food quality had gone down but I was willing to give it a try and it failed. About 6 months ago I use to come here 2 maybe 3 times a week I'd get the Cali veggie burrito and a beer only stopped going here because I was visiting family up north for a while then I come back to town and try to get my Cali veggie burrito again and it's discontinued which is funny to me because that was the only thing on the menu that was good their meat is almost always overcooked not authentic taste likes it's been frozen and the chicken tastes horrible DONT COME HERE unless you have very very low standards nice people but food is awful, can't help but feel bad for those working there because I doubt they'll be in business very long read more

I tend to try not to leave negative reviews but....The food is horrible. We have been multiple times and it has got worse each time. This past weekend we ordered 3 burritos and a kids bean & cheese. $58 before a tip.. FIRST RED FLAG. I completely understand that prices have gone up. But $60 for a taco shop ...for a few burritos and a kids meal? Steep. But for that price I was expecting quality food which should be expected at that price point in my opinion. 1. "Cali Burrito" - when I say horrible, I mean the burrito was 85% sour cream with a couple of pieces of meat, sprinkled tiny amount of cheese, guac and that's about it. If anything else was in it, I missed it because I had a tortilla filled with sour cream 2. "El Classico" with chicken burrito- A lack of flavor chicken burrito that was greasy and filled with again...a whole lot of sour cream. Minimal amount of chicken for a chicken burrito. 3. "Chipotle Bacon" burrito - For a shrimp burrito, I want to say there was maybe 4 to 5 shrimp in it. Again, an insane amount of sauce which was the chipotle sauce, minimal everything else. 4. Kids bean & cheese burrito with fries- The bean and cheese burrito was probably the best thing we had. For fast food I feel like it's wildly expensive, however, their portions are huge... and they're not cheap bastards like Alberto's now where they nickel and dime you for everything like carrots and chips Staff is always friendly, food is always fresh, and they're close to the house... so no complaints, and I'll continue to make this my go-to Mexican food spot read more

I go to the Vista Primos market a lot for the tacos. I saw this place as I was driving home and decided to stop by. The cashier was patient while I reviewed the menu and offered input. She was multitasking as I could tell she was on the phone. It was Monday and they had a special. I got a carne asada torta with hot cheetos. The jalapeño queso was really tasty and the sandwich had great flavor, but like other reviews they are very skimpy with the meat. First time. Was filling up at 76 gas station in Temecula off Winchester and saw this restaurant attached to gas station store. Looked up reviews and decided to try regardless of low ratings as my belly was a rumbling and seeing customer pics food looked edible. Place was clean inside and attendant greeted me right away. Decided on carne asada burrito listed as "Classico" on their menu. Priced at $15 which is little higher than most places. Mentioned price to attendant to which she said it is a good size burrito. When I got my order the burrito was big. Paired it with red salsa. Good flavor over all. Carne asada was made properly. Could be fantastic if they used half of sour cream portion. Just had little too much. Also whoever constructed burrito did not secure on both ends. Which causes contents in burrito to spill out as I grab and lift to eat. Gets messy. Had to use a fork. They should place burrito on skillet for brief moments so heat can lock in burrito fold. Should always be done after all contents inside burrito. I've learned this from experience. Overall good flavor. I will visit again & recommend the carne asada aka "El Classico". Tell them to hold a little on sour cream. read more

Don't get me wrong the food is really good but if I'm paying $20 for something to get food I expect to be made the right way.
