[[HIGHLIGHT]]Building could use some work, and the pick up area is dated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was a bit awkward. Ordered the chicken saag and rav korma at level 1. Both were flavorful and not spicy at all (which is ok because I have GERD). Seekh kabob and chicken biriyani at level 2. It had a healthy hint of spice and was also flavorful. Level 1 and 2 are very different on spice. The order came with 3 containers of rice. Chicken nan and plain nan both good. Not greasy. Overall it was a good meal but nothing we ate rushing back to. I think we prefer Shaan for more variety of options.

They stated they may begin dine-in soon, which I hope they do because the art on the walls was really nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The people working were pleasant. I ordered the chicken tikka masala & my husband has the lamb vindaloo, both at a spice level of four. We also shared an order of garlic naan. I have to say, this chicken tikka masala reminded me of the first time I fell in love with Indian food, which was also the first time I tried it. It was packed full of super tender chicken & the sauce was absolutely perfect. The lamb vindaloo my husband had was seasoned excellently & also had very tender lamb. The naan was good, but didn't seem as fresh as some other places I have had. I would still order it again.

I stumbled on this through a yelp search and popped in to order carryout. It was a very good decision on my part and by ordering an entree, and some somosas, it was a enough for 3 full meals for 1. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more!

My parents have been ordering from here for many years and they have really great food! This is also one of my go tos when I'm craving Indian. I almost exclusively get chicken tikka masala no matter what restaurant I go to, and theirs is great. Creamy, saucy, full of flavor. I also enjoy their garlic naan - it has lots of garlic and is not too oily unlike some places. The chicken tikka had a bit of a bbq flavor which was unexpected. The chicken was very tender. I probably wouldn't get this myself (my mom got it) but it is good if you like bbq. Mango lassi! One of my favorite drinks. Mango mixed with creamy yogurt and spices - I think cardamom and Rosewater? - amazing. I highly recommend getting this if you like smoothies!

I ordered take out and was very impressed! I ordered lamb korma, saag paneer, and garlic naan. Everything was really tasty! The portions were awesome and there was a great amount of lamb and paneer in each dish! Each dish also came with a full portion of rice as well, which was more than enough!

So disappointing! We ordered dinner from here tonight and it was so bland that had we been blindfolded and not told what we're eating we'd have no clue that it had been Indian food. This was the blandest food I've had in a long time and definitely the blandest Indian food I've ever had. No discernible spices at all. I had Mushroom Matar, my husband had the Lamb Vindaloo. The Vegetable Pakoras were heavy, bland doughy lumps. We've been customers since they first opened. We came back after the fire and it was still pretty good, although slightly different. Like they had a new cook. It has consistently gotten blander over the last 2 years and tonight was the last time we will be customers. Bland food and the fact that they are strictly a takeout business now gives us no reason to return.

Chicken Tikka Massala, mild spice is my favorite dish! I don't usually eat all the rice, but the jasmine flavor in their rice has a beautiful balance and pairs perfectly with chicken.

I don't usually write a Yelp review just to re-iterate what others have said, BUT I'll make a worthwhile exception for Delhi Palace. The buffet is a fantastic value at $7.99, and everything I tried was very good or absolutely amazing. The service was great and the place was clean. It's so nice to finally see a restaurant go into this location that has a really good shot at succeeding...and if they can continue to perform like this, I believe they will. read more

The first time we went for the lunch buffet and it was good. The second time we went for the lunch buffet and it was FANTASTIC. Two vegetarians had 6+ entree options on the buffet. The appetizers, rice, and naan were all good. The desserts were great. Spice level was not bland like most other places on the buffet, but not overwhelming either. Now our absolute favorite Indian restaurant in the city. Great value, great food. read more

I feel like we've been on the hunt for a good Indian restaurant since Dushmesh changed ownership. I am SO glad we finally tried out Delhi Palace!! I definitely never would have stopped just from driving by, but the other awesome reviews got us in. It seems pretty calm for eat in, but was hopping for take out. We got chicken tikka masala, which was delicious and all white meat which is a major plus for me. The garlic naan was AMAZING - so good we had to order a second order in the middle of dinner cause we ate it so fast. They're BYOB, which we know for next time. Can't wait to come back!! Everyone there is SO nice! read more

Disgrace to Indian food and to the name of beautiful city of Delhi where I have had some of the best food ever. The thing that ticks me off the most is that they think people from midwest would have no idea what good Indian food is supposed to be like and rob innocent patrons off a good experience. Went for dinner with a big group ordered off the menu. Absolutely everything was stale and reheated or refried(extremely greasy) including the appetizers. Most likely left over stuff from the earlier lunch buffets. The chicken pakoda in the mixed platter that was supposed to be a piece of white meat was literally dark gray on the inside and tasted like a piece of hardened rubber. The only "fresh" food was the naan bread which surprisingly was really good as it came right off the tandoor oven to the plate. So, obviously they are capable of doing it right but they choose to be lazy and cheap. read more

They recently reopened! Their Butter Chicken (think mildly spiced tomato sauce) is the best I've had in Cincinnati. We're big fans of Baba India in Oakley and Delhi Palace compares in their recipe and ingredient excellence. I've never had a bad takeout from there. Unlike Baba, we've never eaten inside but that's just a quirk of habit - they're on my way home from work! read more

I've been to eat in twice and had take out twice and every time, the food has been delicious! I've had the saag paneer and chicken tikka masala and can't say enough about how flavorful they were, not to mention the top notch naan. The buffet had a great variety. Best Indian food lunch buffet around! Everything is so hot and fresh. They vary their dishes by the day. Such a reasonable price as well. The staff there is always friendly and welcoming. We haven't tried it for dinner yet, but pretty certain it is excellent as well. Plenty of parking and convenient location. read more

I have been a regular visitor to this Indian restaurant. Excellent lunch buffet with well prepared and presented spread of veg and non-vegetarian dishes. Keep coming here quite often for good sumptuous food and of course a very friendly staff and service. One watch out - you will appreciate it only if you can eat non vegetarian food. PURE VEGAN customers may not find it value for money. read more

I was worried when I walked in and saw a buffet for lunch. But was pleasently surprised. Eggplant was really tasty. Curried chicken had just the right amount of spice. Fruit was ripe and fresh. Staff brought out hot naan. Friendly staff. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The waiter is so attentive and nice. All the employees I've encountered are nice but.. I ate here once and LOVED the food.. But had stomach issues for a few days after. I take a medication that can irritate my stomach (and no I'm not new to Indian food and yes I can handle the food I've eaten else where). But because my husband liked it and the waiter was so kind I decided to chalk it up to the medicine but.. The second time was no different. Two days of stomach issues again. I have no idea why.. It seems clean but something just doesn't agree with me. read more

Really love this place. The lunch buffet is a must. The price is cheap ($8 i think?) for the quality and quantity of food. I haven't had too much indian food in Cincinnati (besides Deep India in Clifton, which is awesome), but I frequent this place every few weeks it seems like. Good for groups too, plenty of seating. read more

we've had food from the top rated indian places in cinci and this is our favorite. tandoori chicken is great, and generous portion. also love the curry goat which comes with naan. saag paneer is good as well, as is bartha (eggplant)... mango lassi very creamy and just right amount of sweetness. friendly service. read more

I love this place. I ordered from here about 2 months ago bc they are close and will deliver. With two kids it's really hard to go anywhere to pick something up. They were very nice on the phone, and the delivery was pretty quick. The food was amazing. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and a garlic nan. Heaven. Since then I have ordered a few more times, and have been very pleased. The best part is that the nan is still really hot by the time I get it. I am hoping to hit the lunch buffet one of the days! read more

After an afternoon at the ballpark, my partner and I decided to have dinner at Delhi Palace (it had been recommended by a friend). From the outside, you might drive right past this place--the exterior is pretty nondescript. But, once we came inside, we were impressed by the space and decor. I ordered the Chicken Shahi Korma (chicken and cheese cubes with nuts and raisins in a creamy sauce). My partner had the Chicken Tikka Masala (chicken with savory tomato, onion, and butter sauce). We both had the spice level at media (just the right amount of heat). We also tried the Kashmiri Naan (naan stuffed with coconut and raisins) and some mango lassis (mango yogurt drinks). And the verdict? Yummy! The Shahi Korma sauce was one of the most addicting sauces I've ever had. And the Kashmiri Naan was just the right balance of sweetness. Overall, we will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Cincinnati! read more

This is likely the best Indian restaurant my wife and I have ever been to, and has by far the best lunch buffet. The waitstaff is beyond friendly and hospitable. They tend to needs quickly and politely, without being intrusive. Try it out! read more

Food was amazing! I had the ginger chicken and my guest had an eggplant dish, both were delicious and we couldn't stop talking about how tasty it was and how we couldn't wait to come back. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but very clean inside, not overly crowded, and staff is very friendly and helpful! My party had a lot of questions about different foods and ingredients since we're not very familiar with Indian food, but the staff was patient with us and happy to answer! Food is great - the service leaves a lot to be desired. I've dined in a few times at Delhi Place and have enjoyed the food. However, this time I decided to get an order to go. Not only did they give me the wrong order but I had trouble getting it made right. I called and said that I had the wrong order - the phone was put down randomly without notice while they took are of other people. They agreed that what I received was not what I ordered but insisted that I should enjoy it anyways and hung up. I called back - insisted that I know what I ate, explained that I have food allergies and asked for a refund. They did process a refund but not for the total amount that they charged me - so I am now disputing it on my card. I never did get an answer about what I had tasted. read more

I have only ordered delivery so I don't know about being inside. I love Indian and Middle Eastern food and being from California I am a bit of a snob on what is good. I have tried half a dozen restaurants from NKY through downtown Cincinnati to up here at Delhi Palace in Silverton. This is the best I have had. For the portion size the price is right the flavor wonderful and the personnel on the phone and delivery are very nice. read more

I had a wonderful dinner tonight at The Delhi Palace. The aromas when you first enter are so welcoming. They did not disappoint. I had a Samosa, Garlic Naan and the Chicken Makhani. The portions were quite generous. Since they are in my neighborhood, i will definitely be back! read more

We were seated in a booth by the bar. The dishes we ordered were both delicious, and the portions are surprisingly generous - plenty of leftovers for next day lunch. I tried the Biryani and my friend had the Chicken Tikka Mughlai with a side of garlic naan. Not sure if we got 'lost' but the missing star is for some gaps in service. Despite sitting in a booth visible from the bar, once our food was delivered, nobody checked on us until we were finished. My water and beer were both empty for a long time. Hopefully this was a one time issue and I'll be able to update after my next visit - which will be soon to this delicious spot. They did a pretty busy carry out business while we were there. I'd definitely think about carry out here. Yum!

Chicken naan was great and you get so much with just one order. Definitely good value for the cost. Mulligatawny Soup was warm and delicious. I would definitely get it again. Neither of us like rice pudding but i did sample it and the flavor reminded me of chai.

Delhi Palace has the best Indian Food in Cincinnati and anywhere we have been including much bigger cities and even Europe (they love their Indian food in London). Some Indian Restaurants are good at some dishes but others are bland. So far DP has delivered no matter what the dish (CTM, Paneer Saag, Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka the list goes on and on). Also they make many different kinds of naan AND THEY DELIVER AND ITS BYOB. The folks there are always friendly and up for explaining spice levels, meal ingredients and make recommendations to 'get out of my comfort zone' and try new things. They have good food here and I haven't been disappointed yet. I've only tried a few menu items but I always like their dishes. I like spicy food, but some of my friends don't. My friends were nervous to try Indian food, but the cook was able to make dishes for them that weren't spicy or hot. I usually get a couple of entrees with friends and the restaurant throws in a dessert for free, which I also think is nice. read more
