Ordered the aloo tiki chaat and it was pretty bad. Spices and flavor was good but the aloo was cold.. And service was awful. I arrived to pick up my order and the guy at the counter was just chatting with another colleague for a couple minutes before he even came to help me. I might give it another shot though because i have heard good things.

Decent place for a quick meal with a large group. Ate here last night with college friends. We met at 7 pm and there was plenty of parking in their private lot. We decided to sit outdoors even though there was plenty of space inside. I was among the first few to arrive, and we started with masala chai and some appetizers while waiting for the others. Process is to order at the counter inside and pay, then they bring your food to you. Here are things I enjoyed, others which were ok, and ones I wouldn't recommend ordering. Enjoyable: Dahi papdi chaat - superbly made! Aaloo pyaaz paratha - also a winner! Adequate: Chili pakora - nice snack. Aaloo tikki with cholle - I've had better. Cholle bhature - filling but nothing special about it. Shouldn't order again: Bhel puri - dry and tasteless. Paneer pakora - not worth the calories. They forgot one of our main course orders, but replaced it with dessert. So we ended our meal with Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai, both of which were good. Will be back for Dahi papdi chaat and more stuffed parathas!

I've been meaning to give this place a try since I'd heard some good reviews about them. Finally got a chance to try it last weekend. I ordered Chole Bhature and bread pakora.  I haven't had a bread pakora in 25 years, so this brought back childhood memories. The pakoras were really good. It was stuffed with potato and peas masala and came with 2 chutneys.  Chole Bhature was pretty good as well. Although there are many places in the Bay Area that serve chole bhature, the bhature's here are authentic. Not a whole lot of places serve the same kind. The chole quantity was small. Price is on the higher side here compared to other similar places.

I have ordered takeout and also frequented this place a lot of times. Pros: Quick service Everything tastes homemade and fresh Tastes as authentic as you can get it in india Their chole batura, which is a chickpea curry with fluffy fried bread, is the best in the area & you need to try this at this place before you try it at other places in sunnyvale bay area. Aloo poori is also really good. Very large outdoor and indoor seating. They have a decent amount of parking, but it can get full on certain times/ days of the week Seems family run and owned Cons There's not much to say about this establishment, but it is mostly self-service like a fast food place. The fried breads can come piping hot from the kitchen so eat with caution.

Food was amazing, the spice level was perfect! We came on a weekday there was no waiting.

Loved the private parking lot and outside patio seating decor. The place is self service so you go inside and place your order. They call out your name when its ready and u come back and pick it up and pick up disposable cutlery water napkin etc and go back to your choice of seating. Prompt service and fresh preparations of chaats, paranthas, bhature really impressed me :) In $67, we got: - chole bhature 5/5 - the bhatura was huge and so fresh and piping hot. Super bhatura!! The chole were okay too. I liked the side pickle and onion cucumber that comes with it - pav bhaji 4/5- spicy and huge portion size..this comes with 3 buns instead of the usual 2 and they are drooling with butter - aloo paneer mix parantha 4/5 - again huge portion and freshly prepared. I wish it had some green chillis to add that extra kick. Nonetheless, it was still fresh and good. It comes with plain yogurt. - dahi sev puri 3/5- a little soggy by the time it reached us. I wished they called us separately first and just gave us this to eat while they cooked rest of the food - ginger tea 3/5- average and made from before Its not cheap so im not sure why they are using disposable cutlery and plates cups and self service.

Directions on yelp are incorrect! This place is about .5 miles away from the directons on yelp. All the dishes we got were legit but a tad spicy. What I didn't like was the non existent service. Even napkins were not at the table and all dishes were served in paper plates. The lady who took our order idk if she was new but did not even have recommendations.

This is a great place for indian chaat, fried apetizers and North Indian meals. I have been here several time with my family and have enjoyed variety of dishes such as chole bature, paani poori, dahi poori, paneer pagodas, bread pakodas, paranthas etc. The food is really good but slightly pricey. I would recommend chaat and pakodas

The best chaat I had so far in the bay area, the paratha's are too good here, brought back the times when I enjoyed like this in New Delhi and Amritsar. A must try for the Samosa Chaat, its hot and tasty, usually the most of the restaurants I tried, all of them had a mild or normal temperature for the samosa chaat, but this place has a very hot temperature and best to eat during this winter time. Also the Paratha's are additional highlight here with achaar and yogurt. The service is quick and it takes usually less time and the food taste has very good consistency and must try the Paneer Paratha for sure. Too many spots available for parking , but might get busy in the evenings and make sure you try this place before 8 as they close by 8:30.

First visit to a Chaat place. Really nice near authentic Delhi Chaat, lots of variety and tasty food. Definitely worth a visit.

So this place is no fancy frills. Very basic infrastructure, it's just about clean and in an old building (this applies to the bathroom as well) You go and order the food and it comes to you extremely quick. It's a pick up style service. If you're hungry and in a pinch for food this is the place to go. We ordered a few dishes. The Pav Bhaji, which in my opinion was my least favorite dish. It was a little too oily and strong for my liking. The bhel puri which also was pretty average. Out of their entire menu don't order these dishes as I would consider them more Mumbai style than Delhi style. For the stars of the show, the mooli paratha, paneer paratha were both excellent! They had a reasonable amount of grease but not by a whole lot. The yogurt it came with was also not surprisingly sour. If you're a pickle person this pickle was pretty amazing too. The sev dahi batata poori was some of the best I have eaten. Crispy, not too sweet, held it's shape. That's how this restaurant has earned the stars. This is proper street style desi food. If you're looking for a quick no fuss meal, go here.

Food took a while but everything was amazing, crispy, full of flavors, and got some kick! Great prices and generous serving to share. Our friends brought us for authentic street food and it did not disappoint! Recommend getting their most popular items and chole bhature!

Dahi Batata Sev Puri, Mango Lassi
    Dhruti P.

Delhiwaala Chat is my go-to spot in South Bay for authentic chaat! As a chaat lover, I keep coming back (and bringing all my friends along) for the Dahi Batata Sev Puri. It's perfectly crunchy and bursting with flavor. Their Mango Lassi is some of the best I've ever had--sweet, rich, and so much better than the ones that taste like canned mango pulp. You order at the counter, grab utensils/napkins, get seated at a table, and wait for your food. If you're on the hunt for delicious, authentic chaat, this place is a must-try!

Great Chole Bhaturr. Lot of ginger makes it great!! Reminds me of my favorite spot for that in Indore.

Pretty average food. Puri was good but oily. We ordered gulabjamun and kajukatli and both were sweet but seemed old.

Yumm yummmm! And service was top notch!…read more A friend and I had dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Although most people were seated inside, we opted to sit outside. Sometimes this is an issue with service since they are focused with the customers inside but they were extremely attentive and we did not have any issues. We ordered the butter chicken, gobi, garlic naan, lamb steamed momos, and a mango lassi! All of the food was delicious. The waiter mentioned it would take about 15 minutes for our food to come out which was a nice level of communication. Also, the food came out hot which was nice! Service was very good! Periodic check ins and extremely friendly. Our server Pokhrel was great, highly recommend. Thanks for a delicious dinner and we will be back!

I don't necessarily feel fully qualified to review Momo Grill as I didn't actually try the Momos…read morebut I did try: - Gobi manchurian: Not bad honestly! I've had worse recently so this dish was really great. It wasn't mind blowing but it's more of a comfort food to me anyway so I really enjoyed it. - Veggie chowmein: I asked for it with egg and again was pretty good. I think next time I may be brave enough for the Schezwan sauce - Eggplant Heaven: Kinda just tasted like a normal eggplant sabji? Nothing mind blowing. Our neighbors did end up getting the momos which looked good so I would try that next time.
