I went in December 14th 2021 around 645pm. Two guys working tonight super awesome, I had such an amazing experience. Super quick super friendly 5/5 stars. While I was sitting here eating me salami, pastrami and pepperoni sandwich I was thinking this is the best sandwich I've ever had. Following up on my review of 7 months ago, I have returned to the Deli Delicious on Herndon in Clovis 5-6 times and have continued to get great sandwiches and have never had a mess up in the order as was the case in January. Terrible customer service! I drove 25 minutes to get a sandwich and when I got back home to eat it they messed up my order and left out avocado. This location is the best Deli Delicious in the Central Valley. The chicken is always cooked perfectly, they even go above and beyond and take out those nasty burnt/chewy end pieces. The staff is very friendly and mostly composed of Fresno State students. I've never had a bad meal here and it's worth the drive from anywhere in Clovis. read more

I prefer Deli D when wanting a quick sandwich! The sandwiches are always on point! Great quality in meats and produce in comparison to subway, port of subs, & jimmy johns. The sandwich is never sparse. Perfect spot for lunch or a light dinner. I actually enjoy a handful of their sandwiches. You can order a cold or hot sandwich, specialty sandwiches, or salads. You can also get your sandwich in a lettuce wrap for days your opting for less carbs. I really love their beer battered fries as well! Haven't been disappointed yet! read more

I commented here yesterday about the awful service provided by the manager, Kiki. I would like to add that my boyfriend and I both have food poisoning now. He ordered the black bean veggie sandwich and I ordered a pastrami sandwich. This is my favorite eatery in all of Fresno/Clovis. The sandwiches are much better than the stuff at Jimmy John's, Subway, and Quiznos. Beer batter fries are crack fries. This Deli Delicious is in a languishing strip mall where the CVS and anchor supermarket shuttered who-knows-when. It is in the mall with the Hunan Chinese Restaurant and Dollar Tree. I'd love to see this Central Cali chain expand. Since I moved, I wish I gave Deli Delicious a chance earlier. (The name confused me because it is not like a deli in the Northeast sense where you can buy a pound of sliced cold cuts that are displayed in a refrigerated glass case.) read more

Best deli in Clovis. The bread is fresh and so are the veggies and meat which is piled on. My favorite is the number 21. The cream cheese is delicious with the turkey sandwich. It was the my first time at this location and I wanted to try the Turkey, avocado and sprout sandwich. The employees were very friendly and I was helped right away. I asked for no lettuce and tomatoes. I get all the way home and was very frustrated that my sandwich included lettuce and tomatoes but the avocado and sprouts were left out. How can they leave out the two ingredients that made the sandwich unique from any other turkey sandwich?? Make sure you check your sandwich before you leave the restaurant. Just a simple day and I wanted a simple sandwich I was greeted by an employee who was so nice and a ranging angry manager with colored contacts behind her just starring at the employee as she took my Order I stated I would like a build your own and the girl clicks on the screen and the manager screams at her to click a turkey and Swiss and to delete is. You can hear barking orders at other employees like they're dogs in the back. The poor employee was apologizing for her managers behavior. I avoid the Shepard and Fowler location like the plague because of the terrible service the manager gives me there. I don't understand why someone like that is in upper management. Wow! That's all I can say about this sandwich shop. I ordered the number 35, which was a barbecue chicken sandwich with provolone. The sandwich was toasted perfectly and there was just a solid balance of chicken and BBQ sauce. It was also my first time coming here so I was a little unsure about what to order, but kailyn the cashier helped me pick something. I'm not going to lie if I wasn't such a chicken (no pun intended) I definitely would've asked for her number. Overall, it was a great place and I'll be coming back. read more

Food is good but customer service is poor. The sandwich assembling millennials think they can do no wrong, and when they do not make the sandwich correctly, it must be your fault for not telling us everything. The problem seems to stem from the "kids" who would like to get back to talking with their friends, rather than work. Prior to the order being completed, they begin to look over the shoulder of the counter order taker and start making the sandwich and do not check the tag that prints out. When asked to fix the sandwich you're met with frustration and minimal effort. Not to mention being talked about and mocked by them when you turn your back. Please take your job seriously, you're not her to hang out with friends. You're here to take care of customers, and to make a company profit. Realize that without customers coming through the door, your paycheck can't go into your bank. Also if you're reading this, whoever hold the servsafe cert for this location, please retrain your staff as to what can come back from a customer into a food preparation area. read more

me & my coworker came here on our lunch break & ordered sandwiches. the employee taking my order was very kind however what seemed to be the manager behind the counter was screaming at her employees, belittling & being very demanding the entire 7 minutes i was there. i had to walk out of the building because she made me feel so uncomfortable to listen to her be so verbally abusive to her staff that were doing their jobs just fine. i gave the employees a tip because i felt so bad for them. it's a sandwich shop not hell's kitchen. take it easy gordon ramsay. food was delish though. thanks employees. not the manager. i won't be coming back because of you. read more

I wouldn't even give this Deli D one star! Ordered a 29 lettuce wrap and they forget 2 of the main ingredients. I call them and the girl who answered the phone doesn't have any clue what's on the 29 , and when I explained to her what happened she just said sorry , which means she has no customer service skills at all ! I spent $9 for just a lettuce wrap sandwich which is a complete rip off! I should of went with pokiland !
