Great owner! Amazing food and service, I lovedddd the pesto sandwich. And it's a really cute area to eat at.

I ordered a custom vegan sandwich & it was delicious. I would love if they offered vegan meat and cheese. I struggled with ordering delivery. The Toast app was showing delivery as unavailable. DoorDash did not allow any notes, even though they did not offer things like hummus or pickles as options for the custom sandwich. They were missing on the website & Toast app as well. I was grateful that when I called they said I could order "for pickup" and they would mark it for delivery. They made sure I received the delivery even though I had to order by phone.

This place was so good!!! It's a small shop tucked into the alleyway behind Lobster West and other stores. There was limited seating so we took our sandwiches to the beach and it was a great picnic :) A couple of other people also came by to pick up pre-ordered sandwiches and take them to-go. He got the pastrami melt with sprouts ($1.50 extra), banana peppers (free) and jalapeños (free). I got the Italian Torpedo with banana peppers. Both were so good, literally 5/5!! In my experience, the sandwiches are on the smaller side compared to other places so I would say the portion is perfect for one person. I'm so glad I discovered this place and I would definitely go here again!

Deli-iCloud is a great spot for lunch and I'm sure frequented by people working in the area. Unless you know it is there you most likely wouldn't see it as it is tucked into an alley of small shops. The sandwich was good and the bread was fresh. I also had a cup of chili which was very good and always available. The service was quick even for a small shop.

From Chicago, looking for a sandwich shop in La Jolla, found this one on maps. Located in a cute little cluster of shops, we ordered and sat down outside in the alleyway. In less than 5 minutes our sandwiches came out. I ordered the Italian Italian Torpedo (4/5) which is an upscale Italian sub on ciabatta, with a hearty helping of mustard and very light Italian dressing. The size was large, could barely finish! Overall the ambiance was good, but the outdoor seating had a bad smell, like it was garbage day or something. Overall I would recommend.

The location of this restaurant is cool, nice tucked away alleyway, but the food was not "delicious". We got the lumberjack and reuben. The lumberjack was decent, the reuben was terrible, not much taste or flavor... very bland. And the center meat was a little cold, maybe microwaved? The service was really good.

Best sandwich I've ever had. I got the TBA and wow...it was amazing. I got it for breakfast and went back a couple hours later to get it for lunch. HA!! It really is that good. I will be back next time I'm in San Diego. Worker was friendly. Place was a little tricky to find - you have to walk down an ally way to get there and I was confused but we found it so we it was good. read more

5 stars for service. Super sweet on the phone and during pick-up, order was ready on time, location clean and overall, a very cozy neighborly spot. Unfortunately, 1 stars for the sandwiches. Tried the torpedo, but despite the big name... there was very little filling inside a rather large and stale French roll. Our avocado turkey panini didn't leave a great impression either. Especially for the price, hubby and I left pretty disappointed with our half eaten sandwiches. Sorry guys. This is definitely a locals type place. No frills small deli. It's a bit more expensive than my previous goto no frills deli, Spirit of St Germain, but this is also a more expensive area to operate out of. I've tried a few sandwiches from here so far and my favorite is their pastrami Reuben. It's hardly a classic Reuben but it was still a great sando. Their turkey avo panani is pretty similar to what you'd expect. I prefer the croutons version (I believe they call theirs the Californian), which has bacon, but you can pay extra here to add it I guess. My vegetarian friend has tried the super veggie and the Jackie and preferred the Jackie although again, both were good. Macaroni salad was decent. Will have to try their protein sides and the potato salad one of these days. Hope it's not just Sysco repackaged. read more

Stumbled across this place when trying to find a quick bite to eat for lunch and this was the best surprise! It's a little tiny shop right in the heart of la jolla, easy to miss, but I would definitely recommend coming here! It'd be perfect for a grab and go sandwich lunch to take down to the beach. I got the Buffalo Chicken Panini and it was basically the best panini I've ever had. Granted I haven't had very many paninis in my life time but this would definitely be hard to beat. Their menu has a great selection, with much to choose from so there's something for everyone! The woman at the register who helped me was so nice and seemed so sweet to everyone who came in the doors. It's safe to say I I'll definitely be back! My favorite place to grab lunch. The food is always soooo delicious and The people working there are so sweet and always very helpful. 7/10 Tucked in a little corridor in La Jolla coves, this tiny sandwich shop is easy to miss but provides some quick and easy sandwiches. A lot of people who came while I was here, came to grab a quick to go for their lunch break. I really liked the atmosphere of the tiny corridor where this place is. It's filled with other tiny shops that has a different style than the buildings right outside. Made me feel like I wasn't in San Diego anymore. I also really enjoyed their music selection, which was a combination of songs from John Lennon, we will rock you, and we are the champions. This with some coffee was honestly a great way to start the day. Disappointingly I enjoyed the surroundings more than I did the food. I got the pastrami melt which was not bad, but was a little salty for me and didn't have enough avocado to cover the salt and the sandwich was also a bit greasy. The chicken wild rice soup on the other hand was really good and made up for the sandwich. I enjoyed my visit here, but I just wished I could have enjoyed the sandwich a little more. Maybe next time I'll come back and try their paninis and have a better experience. read more

This review is specifically directed at their customer service. I typically love Deliliscious. Their sandwiches are usually packed full of delisciousness. I order from them frequently. Today, I ordered a BLTA which came out to $11.80. When I opened it, I was very disappointed in the amount of bacon, lettuce, tomato AND avocado in the sandwich for the price. Assuming they were just busy or it was a new sammy maker, I called to let them know- in hopes they would offer to replace the sandwich another day or even just acknowledge and do better next time. I was very kind, just informative and let them know I am usually impressed w/ their sandwiches but today I was disappointed. Unfortunately, I was met with "I made you a good sandwich"..... and absolutely no remorse or apology. I am bummed at the way the situation was handled. I went here yesterday for food was really good. I wanted to use the restroom and the guy pretended to open the doors door told me it was busy after waiting for that person to come out after 5 min. Nobody came out. Shortly after a guy and his son walk into the restroom there was no one in there at all. He lied and didn't want to let me use the rest room after I just spent $25 at this place. I'm a paying customer why withhold the restroom from a paying customer. The man was white I am a Latino male, this felt racially motivated and I detected a hint of racism the worst part is this guy was the owner I think he was working on the shop and this and that. But I was respectful and polite only to be treated this way. I'm writing this to inform and let people know what type of people own this establishment. Besides that food was good. Discovered this little gem in Yelp by reviewers like you. Took my niece, nephew and daughter there for a light lunch and it was awesome!! Prices are reasonable for the area and the pastrami melt as well as the roast beef sandwiches were awesome. Their Broccoli cheese soup was a great deal as well. Their outdoor sitting area is situated in a quaint little shopping inlet with clean bathrooms. Go here for a deli-cious hot or cold sandwich lunch without breaking the bank. read more

My friend and I got sandwiches here. I got a chefs special and it was bland, no flavor. The half sandwich costed just as much as the whole. My friend got the half goddess sandwich which was even more disappointing. The sandwich was tiny and had no ingredients in it. It was a goddess sandwich that came with a single piece of lettuce and a tiny amount of avocado. The sandwich was basically just bread. Definitely not worth $10. We will not be returning. read more

Handmade sandwiches, salads, wraps, breakfast burritos located in the International Shops on Prospect. Small little deli with a few al fresco tables. Lots of great menu favorites or you can build your own! The Italian torpedo was exactly what I wanted except I substituted for gluten free bread and regretted it only for the size, it was tasty but smaller than my friends sando which had a classic roll. read more

I just have to say I never comment on restaurants but wow, it was my first time coming in to Deli icious and let me say, I am impressed. I was a little skeptical at first because it seemed a little slow but walking it I was welcomed . They have so many options I wanted a little of everything. I decided to go with the Rueben, it was delicious! The sandwhich was packed with juicy pastrami and their soup of the day, the cream of brócoli was soo scrumptious. Found Deli-icious through Yelp! And I'm so grateful for that. This place is a little hard to find because Google Map does not lead to right up to the deli. It's off the main road as it's in an alley way with other shops away from the main road. You'll have to look at the shop directory and walk into the quaint alley. However, once you are there, you'll be very well rewarded with their yummy sandwiches. I've tried the Turkey Avocado Panini and their Reuben Sandwich. Both are yummy! The customer service is great! The cook prepared the sandwiches speedily and very well done! And I would go there again and again every time I'm at La Jolla Cove. read more

The cheese shop can't be missed, with the green ivy covered store front. It's standing round only, no seating inside but limited outside seating. You order from the counter and they bring your order to you if you decide to sit outside. I selected the popular sandwich: Turkey, Jack Cheese and Avocado on sourdough bread with every veggie: lettuce, tomato, red onion was all it had. Just baked from the oven were the famous oatmeal cookies in caramel and chocolate, looked so yummy I didn't order any but the guy behind the counter complementary gifted a pair to me, so nice, friendly and cool!! Inside the shop didn't appear clean, I would describe the ambiance as divey. Sat outside and shortly my order was presented nicely wrapped sandwich and warm cookies. Took pics and took a bite and my consensus is that I was not a fan of this sandwich because I really prefer smoked turkey and not plain turkey. The sandwich looked subpar, the layering of ingredients weren't assembled as aesthetically layered as it can be and tasted just ok. My pup usually doesn't like smoked turkey or unfresh meats but she liked this plain roast turkey, which means it's more likely fresh and pass her approval. She also ate the contents of the sandwich sans the bread and onions of course. The oatmeal cookies were a real treat and lived up to the hype, kind of gooey, yummy and good for you...hence oats is fiber! As a cheese aficionado, this shop is not really a cheese shop with no abundant cheese selections. The shop should just be named sandwich shop, since sandwiches and candies seem to be their cash cows. If you're looking for a cheese shop, this isn't the place, but it might the place for a sandwich. Recommend

I walked in and Lisa told me they had 1 Christmas dinner left. 1 meal left at 8:00pm. I was so happy. Got my meal, a drink, and a little dessert. The drawer I got were the TimTam cookies. They remind me of my first deployment when I would make trades for these cookies! I was stoked to see them there due to them not being in the US. Lisa warmed up my Christmas dinner for me due to my hotel not having a microwave. I walked back to my hotel so dang happy that I get to have a real meal and not a beef jerky from the gas station. Lisa didn't seem annoyed and was more than willing to make me feel welcome late at night when they wanted to close. The staff was also away from their family but was so willing to serve me. I got back to my hotel and opened up the food, it was one of the best Christmas dinners I have ever had. I felt like I was home the second I took that first bite. I am so grateful for this corner store. I am here in town for a bit, and I will continue to come to this establishment everyday until I leave.

The La Jollan for breakfast and a turkey avo panini for lunch... you cant go wrong! Delivery service available any day is even better. The only reason I didn't give five stars is I believe that they should have something for locals and loyal customers.... I order from here at least 3 times a week or more and so do the people I work with... so maybe a loyalty card or something. Just saying there is other options in La Jolla (something the owner should think about). Besides that great, quick service. The delivery guy during the week days is very efficient. The sandwiches are almost always spot on.. Popped in on a saturday and they were closed in the middle of the day. I thought it was unordinary, but sometimes thats how it goes with small mom and pop shops.. I still support small businesses whenever possible but I was disappointed due to fighting for parking and finding out they were closed.. Amazing!! I come here for lunch multiple times per week. Their food is sensational. The flavors are delicious and everything is always fresh. The staff is wonderful. Not to mention they have gluten free bread and can make any sandwich gluten free! My favorites include the chefs choice, chicken Caesar club, and buffalo chicken panini! Yum!! Got a Lumberjack and a Chef's Choice. Mine was Lumberjack was ant it was huge. I couldn't finish it. I dont think anyone with a regular stomach can eat it all. It was pretty satisfying. Fresh, tasty and felt different than big box store sandwiches. I am glad I stopped by to this little shop. Owner was pretty cool too. Next time I m trying Nutella Sunrise. Lol. read more
