I always love coming to Delicia. I like that there are new editions to the menu each month (seasonally), but you can always find some favorites that are menu staples too. Drinks are consistently good here. I love mojitos and love that I can get them freshly made all year round! Our waitress did a fabulous job introducing all kinds f the new menu items and the specials. Our food was amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is cozy and welcoming![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Picked this place for Mother's Day brunch after reading rave reviews. First look at the menu everything sounded good. The carnitas verde bowl was a favorite, salty cheesy goodness. The breakfast enchilada was also delicious; filled with tender duck and topped with a tomato/habanero sauce that could have used a little more of a spicy kick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is made to feel like you are in Spain, bright yet cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the bar area at high tops with a comfy booth side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only complaint is that it took a very long time to get our meals. However the food was great and worth the wait. Would recommend starting the queso fundido (the couple next to us ordered it and it made us all jealous as we waited hangerly)!

A Desert Dream in the Heart of SoBro! Delicia is a gorgeous gem that is absolutely worthy of your next date night. I spotted them on Resy and was intrigued--it definitely delivered on the "Southwest" vibes. The Atmosphere: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is the true standout here. Having lived in the American Southwest, I can tell the designer spared no detail. It holds true to that desert aesthetic while oozing intimacy through low lighting and cozy seating. It's the perfect spot if you're looking for a "mood."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Food Breakdown: * Chips & Guac (5/5 ): Fresh, flavorful, and a must-order. * Salsa Trio (2/5 ): This was a miss for us. We only liked one of the three, so I'd skip the trio next time. * Smoked Brisket & Scallops (3/5 ): A bit of a toss-up. My friend wasn't a fan, but I found the brisket quite tasty and tender. * Birria Short Ribs (3.75/5 ): The flavor was delightful, but the texture was inconsistent. I order short rib specifically for that unctuous, silky, gelatinous breakdown. Half of the portion hit that mark perfectly, but the other half felt more like a standard pot roast. The rest of the dish was satisfyingly tasty! Service & Logistics: Our server was amazing! I wish I'd caught her name, but she was attentive and seamless. (I'm pretty sure it was Taylor.) Return Factor: 65% I'll definitely be back to try some of their other pillar dishes. Note for locals: They have a dedicated parking lot, which is a huge plus for this area of College Ave!

The food was phenomenal honestly. The chicken was perfectly crispy and a huggee portion. The birria short rib was delicious and super flavorful. I'd say the only downside is the restaurant is pretty expensive. Also, FYI the cantina is the back room, which is only open on weekends for overflow. We thought it was the bar in the main area..it's not and they don't let you switch if you made a reservation for a certain area.

Brunch at Delicia has been on our Indy to eat list for what feels like years and we finally had a babysitter (but there were kids and babies their so don't let that stop you) and made it! It was worth the wait! This is the most unique brunch I've had in Indy. It was so hard to decide what dishes to get. I love that some options have a half serving like the plantain waffle so that you can even try more. My husband loved his carnitas verde grit bowl. We had lots to take home because the appetizer of queso was HUGE. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the decor, our waitress was wonderful, and the food was so good that now we need to try the dinner menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a very small parking lot in front and then more parking in the back or the street parking is free in this area!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a great spot in SoBro![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recently I visited Delicia with some girlfriends. I've been to the restaurant before, but it had been probably 10+ years! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress, Taylor, was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the paloma and the devour specials. I cannot wait to come back for brunch. I highly recommend the salsa flight. The strawberry salsa is so delicious. Everything was so fresh. I have no complaints! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great date night spot or a night out with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and upscale spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Fried chicken!

This was my first time at Delicia and wow I am obsessed! First I started out with a spicy mango cocktail. Then we ordered the brussel sprouts and the octopus. Both were quite good, but we joked that we wished that we each had a plate of the brussel sprouts for ourselves! Then I switched to the non-alcoholic Coco No-No which was absolutely delightful. I felt like I could have been dropped into a beach. I did not plan for the portion sizes to be as large as they were so by the time that our entrees came out, I was only able to eat a few bites. The fried chicken, makes you doubt that it is really gluten free because it looks and tastes that good! Our waitress was Liz and she did an exceptional job, especially as the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. As someone who has a gluten allergy, I really appreciated how seriously that Liz and the kitchen staff took allergies and that Delicia's menu was marked up so well. I woke up and I do not have any symptoms of being glutened. I love finding safe places to eat at and I'm so glad that I have another one to add to my list! [[HIGHLIGHT]]On a Saturday night the restaurant was louder to start around 7:45PM, but it got more quiet as the night progressed. I could always hear my friend sitting across from me, but I didn't feel like I had to shout or be louder than usual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    CARNITAS CON MOLE
    Sophie O.

FIRE just expensive :/ GUACAMOLE 6.8/10 (avocado, serrano, garlic, tomato, onion, cilantro, lime, pistachio) - portion too small, super salty chips. SALSA MACHA POLLO 9/10 (crispy fried boneless miller's amish chicken breast, salsa macha, cilantro lime rice, pickled jalapeños & carrots, herb avocado crema) - spectacular. Chicken was the lightest fried chicken ever while being so crispy. Avocado crema was amazing. I'm obsessed, still thinking about this EMPANADAS 8.8/10 (barbacoa beef, chihuahua cheese, puff pastry, creamy habanero sauce, lime crema, herb green rice) - a classic, better to order as an appetizer than entree CARNITAS CON MOLE 8.4/10 (house smoked carnitas, mole poblano, fried plantains, white rice, grilled jalapeno, lime crema, tortilla) - still so so good despite being my least fav entree we got ENCHILADAS DE PATO 8.78/10 (maple leaf farms duck, tomato | habanero sauce, lime crema, chihuahua cheese, herb green rice, stewed black beans) - delicious sauce!!! Big portion, would totally order again. FIRE N' ICE (jalapeño infused reposado tequila, hibiscus | basil | habanero reduction, tres chiles ice ball) SMOKE & STONE (sombra mezcal, fresh mango puree, lightly spiced weber blue agave reposado, lime juice, turbinado simple)

This is such a popular restaurant, and my first and second visit were both great. I came here for brunch. I recommend making a reservation on their website (they use Resy) because it gets busy here. I had a coffee and Spanish churro toast. The coffee was good and I liked how it was served in a glass tall mug. The toast was just okay. Mine did not have much cinnamon taste and didn't resemble churros in any way despite the name. But I still liked the tres de leche sauce. Our server was professional and attentive. My check was inaccurate but when I brought that to her attention, she quickly went back and fixed it for me. I'd love to come back here for dinner next time.

Came back for dinner! Ok. I liked it a lot! Met a girlfriend for dinner, and ironically sat in the bar area again. I think after going for the second time, I rather sit in the bar as it's just a little more...cozy. We both ordered the same cocktail which was the fire n ice with jalapeño infused tequila, hibiscus, basil and habanero reduction. It was supposed to be "very" spicy but when we got it, it wasn't too spicy and it also seemed as if it was batched. Mostly because the server came back within 30 seconds and the drinks weren't too chilled. The cocktail has so much potential! It tasted good, just did not seem fresh and it wasn't really spicy. We decided to order a bottle of red wine - which we enjoyed! Food: We got the chips and queso with chorizo. Very good. Very cheesy! Chips were also pretty good, with the perfect amount of salt! For my entree I got the birria short ribs which were the star of the show. Would get it again! It came with adobo rice that was also pretty tasty. My friend got the pork belly that she liked a lot as well. The parking in the front is pretty small, but I discovered that there is additional parking in the back! They also have a back door you can enter so you don't have to walk around.

Ok, first off I want to say that the service at Delicia was top notch. Some of the best service I have had and I give that five stars. My waitress took the time to tell me a little about the restaurant, menu inspiration and was very attentive. Fantastic experience! The look and vibes are on point too. Upscale without being too fancy. Great seating and decor. On to the food. This was where I give three stars. Maybe it's because I'd seen so many people post that this is one of the best places to eat in Indy and I'd hyped it up in my head but I was a little underwhelmed with my meal. The salsas - great! Especially the strawberry jalapeño. Super unique and the sweet cut through the spicy. I also had a mocktail, which was decent. For my main, I got the barbacoa tamal. After having tamales in Tucson, I have searched for something here that compares and was excited to see one made out of masa on the menu. But it didn't really hit for me. The masa was dry and kind of came off in chunks. The rice had a unique flavor but very small portion size compared to the tamal. I wish it had more heat to it and while the barbacoa was super tender and savory, I just wanted a kick to elevate it. Will I go back? I'm undecided. It's definitely pricier than most restaurants I frequent so that's kind of a barrier for me to trying multiple times. I'd be more like to order the salsa and a drink then snag dinner somewhere else.

Our waitress was amazing despite me hating the cocktails lol the food was good though The cocktails were not good at all, not balanced and watered down, just terrible. The ambiance was excellent and the service was great!!

My girlfriend and I went to Delicia in Broad Ripple for a date night the other week, and it has become a staple every time she comes in town! The quick drive over with lots of parking makes it a go-to date night spot for us when we are looking for an elevated experience with delicious food. We started with the Queso Fundido, which was fantastic. It came in a scorching hot skillet with melted cheese and goodness inside. It was a huge portion too, so we were able to take it home and have leftovers! I ordered the fish tacos, which were a first for me, but they were amazing and very filling! Coming with three large tacos plus rice and beans made the price extremely reasonable, and I was also able to take leftovers from my dish, as well. My girlfriend ordered her classic dish, the empanadas. Every time we have come, she never fails to order the empanadas, and they never disappoint! With the fluffy shell and flavorful filling, it is a fantastic dish, also coming with rice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We do not only come to Delicia for the food, but also for the excellent atmosphere and service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very welcoming, respectful, and kind to us, which we really appreciated. She was very patient and helped us determine portion sizes for specific drinks, as well as confirmation on Happy Hour special prices. We will most definitely be coming back to Delicia soon, and I can't wait to try more of their delicious dishes!

It so had plantains in it which was a nice treat. It's hearty and filling and they don't skimp on the meat. Honestly it should probably be enough for two meals, but I totally demolished the whole thing. Their guacamole was chunky (the good kind), fresh, and super flavorful. I'd taken the day off of work today. With a couple hours for lunch between obligations, I decided to finally stop in. This location of Social Cantina is at 46th and College on the Southeast corner in what used to be Gallery Pastry Shop (and before that it was the restaurant owned by Kimbal Musk - the slightly more normal Musk brother, though that's admittedly a low bar). Social Cantina is a Mexican joint that serves up tacos, classic entrees, lots of margaritas, and a few other items. They have daily specials including weekday lunch specials. They have their own parking lot with a couple accessible spots. In an extreme rarity, they have automatic doors (this is a leftover from Musk's place, though I like that they've kept it - I will say the first of two doors acted a little wonky today). They have a 1,000-square foot outdoor patio that is dog-friendly. Part of it is covered. I arrived around noon on a Monday for lunch. As I've nearly always seen people here when driving by, I was surprised to be the only customer. It stayed this way the entire time I was present. The atmosphere is contemporary, and the background music definitely leaned into American pop/rock/alt. I thought the music was a wee bit loud, but it wasn't overly bothersome. I ordered a chicken tinga quesadilla which included a large flour tortilla stuffed with mixed cheese and tinga marinated chicken served with chopped romaine, pico de gallo, roasted red salsa, and tomatillo crema. I ordered my usual iced tea. The bill came in about $21 - I should note that the quesadilla is an entree, and it's one of the higher priced items. However, it's completely worth it. It was delicious. I did get my always desired iced tea refill. Given the lightness of the crowd, the energy was light.
