The busers were fast and attentive. Beautiful inside. Singer was great. Don't recommend the tenders very dry lacking flavor despite being their top appetizer. Tuna tartare was spectacular and refreshing. The lobster mafaldine was mid. The Wellington was good but Gordon Ramsay's was better by far. The grilled cheese was great. Macaroni gratins is a must! The Kendall brownie is just a big brookie. Good but not awing. Over all great for date night or for girls night out for the ladies. Let me start by saying that the restaurant is beautiful, it is very elegant and spacious. The decors is beautiful and the service was great. However...the entire experience was ruined by the unbearable noise level. The acoustic in the room is terrible, it's nearly impossible to have a normal conversation over dinner, you can barely speak to the person that sitting right next to you, but forget about trying to carry a conversation across the table. To top it all off, they have live entertainment, unfortunately, instead of making the experience pleasant that live entertainment makes the entire experience even more overwhelming and unbearable. I'm not going to talk about the food because it makes no difference, I will never be back there again no matter how great the food was, we spend so much money and we left with a huge headache. read more

Very rude staff, don't expect to have a table if you make a reservation. They'll have you standing around the over crowded bar where drunk people will bump into you left and right. On top of not being able to get a drink until 20 minutes of trying to get a bartenders attention. Waited for 35 minutes and ended up leaving before I could even be seated. Staff needs to work on their deliverance skills when asked a simple question. the attitude l received when I politely asked if they knew how long it would be until the tables ready was appalling, and made me want to immediately leave. Had an amazing night out at Delilah with some friends. The ambiance, the entertainment and food were all outstanding! We started with the Wagyu tartine, Shrimp Cocktail with an add on of Crab Claws, and the famous chicken tenders ! For entrees we shared a burger, the black truffle pasta, a ribeye and brussel sprouts - all delicious. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and really gave us an experience. The cocktails were amazing, and the atmosphere was incredible. Going is an experience. The filet mignon was great, too. However, I found the Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower sides just meh. The truffle fries were yummy, but I can get those lots of places. It's also so loud in there that it's impossible to speak to anyone. This place 100% delivered on my expectations. My expectations were that they shot their load on the decor and millennial social media posters. To credit them, the decor looked great. The location is 'not great' and out of the traffic pattern, so...meh. The food was on par with the location and also meh. Unfortunately, this is another Dallas restaurant that is aesthetically pleasing, but the food is very subpar. Me and my girlfriend came here for dinner. You walk in & the interior is nothing like you would expect from the outside. I love the ambience, I love the low lit lights. There was even a live performer and she could sang!! We were seated, and it did take a minute for the waiter to come to us and also bring us our drinks (which was the best thing on the menu by the way) I started off with the Hamachi Crudo and my friend got the crab cake. No complaints on that. For the main course, I ordered Seabass and my friend ordered some pasta (can't remember the name.) My Seabass was tough unfortunately, not flaky even though I asked for a center cut. The manager saw that I wasn't eating my food and came by and asked me what was wrong. After explaining he offered to remake it. I got it remade, and unfortunately, it still wasn't flaky but I just let it go and decided to enjoy the night with my friend. My friend enjoyed her pasta dish even though it could use some citrus to cut it. We skipped out on dessert and I would say overall it was cool. I don't think I would go back though. I'm more of a food tasting good restaurant versus just looking good. read more

Booked Delilah's prior to its opening for a promotion celebration, and it was disappointing. The ambiance was gorgeous! However, our course meal and service wasn't great. Our reservation was for 7 pm, and it started well. They brought out appetizers and serviced our drinks. An hour to two hours passed without our entrees, or without seeing our server come by. We asked another server for an eta of our entrees being served and they brought us appetizers to alleviate the wait. We waited an additional hour for dinner. We were there for about three and a half hours before we were fully served. Our reservation meal consisted of: Trifled grilled cheese- good Cesar salad- good Bone in redfish- not very good Pork chops- okay Whole roasted chicken- dry Crispy cauliflower- delicious Brussels sprouts- delicious Mac and cheese- not good Mashed potatoes- not good Slutty brownie- good Maple pecan tart- good Overall, the ambiance was great! The live music and dancers added a touch of entertainment, but it was a bit loud to have a conversation. Recommend in a group setting as opposed to a date. The ambience is great, the dancers are cool and have nice outfits, but the food was underwhelming at best and the singer was loudly screaming and screeching the whole night, which really cheapened the experience. I think you could easily find better talent at the local karaoke bar... For a restaurant that prides itself on its entertainment it was definitely disappointing. We went to the location in Vegas and the entertainment was much better and felt more professional, but here it's not on the same level and it really lessened the experience for us- no one wants to enjoy a nice meal listening to someone loudly shrieking off-key. read more

the restaurant is gorgeous in every way. everything from the music, volume, decor, etc. is exactly what i expected and wanted it to be like. My expectations have never been met so perfectly. Every table was full, as to be expected for a newer restaurant. despite every table and seat at the bar being filled, it did not feel overcrowded or claustrophobic, they catered to the overall experience when considering occupancy and whether or not to push the limit or keep it comfortable. thank you for that. the food was delicious, as to be expected. i have absolutely no complaints, only praise. my friends and i will be back! read more

I went to Delilah to celebrate a friends birthday and it did not disappoint!! The atmosphere as soon as you walk in was so amazing, it didn't even feel like Dallas anymore. It felt like we either went back in time or just a different dimension honestly. We got seated in this nice booth that overlooked the whole floor, I was able to see the live music and the dancer for a little before they left. The waitress was very nice and patient with us as well. I got the burger to split with my friend. It was good but the bottom bun was extremely soggy. I didn't mind but it was kind of hard to eat with it falling apart. The fries were nice and crunchy and didn't taste bland at all. There weren't many nonalcoholic beverage choices which was a bit disappointing but we decided to go with a nonalcoholic espresso martini, All Night Long. I absolutely hate espresso martinis and coffee in general so it was disgusting to me but I'm sure if you're a coffee lover you'd love it!! We got the sundae to end our night and it was HUUUGE!!!!!! I don't even think we made a dent in it honestly, it's more built for a party of 4 or more people. What we expected to be a simple dinner for friends and family quickly revealed itself as a full-scale Vegas-LA red-carpet experience, right in the heart of the Dallas Design District. Let me start by saying: wow. It was immediately clear that this was a who's who event--not just of Dallas, but seemingly of the U.S. as a whole. My first reaction was pure admiration for the scale and execution of the night. My second thought was more reflective: Would something like this truly work in Dallas? After experiencing it firsthand, the answer is a resounding yes. The venue itself is nothing short of spectacular. Delilah is a masterclass in design, craftsmanship, and intentional detail. Food was excellent don't get me wrong. My table of 4 ordered the seafood tower as an appetizer plus the crab cakes, ny strip, and red fish plus a couple of rounds of drinks. I understand there is a standard time allotted for most table reservations. You would think my uncle in a walker that takes 35 minutes to get to the restroom and back would receive some courtesy but rules are rules I suppose. Title: A Birthday Dinner That Fell Apart From Start to Finish I chose Delilah Dallas for my birthday dinner because of the reputation the brand promotes around hospitality, service, and experience. Unfortunately, what happened that evening was the opposite of what their brand suggests. First, securing the reservation required persistence. Multiple emails went unanswered for nearly two weeks. The reservation only moved forward after a mutual connection introduced us to Caroline from their events team. To avoid any confusion during dinner, I provided my credit card ahead of time and signed the authorization form. I also made one request very clear, more than once: Drinks were to be ticketed to the individuals ordering them. I was assured this would be noted and would not be a problem. We arrived early. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the atmosphere creates the expectation of a high-end experience. Unfortunately, that expectation was never delivered. Each guest paid over $230 for a fixed menu served family-style. For a table of 11 people, the food service looked like this: 3 filets delivered to the table (not sliced or portioned) 3 sea bass served for eleven people Portions so small several guests left the restaurant hungry For a restaurant positioning itself at this price point, this was surprising. Then the billing problems started. We were charged for 11 bottles of water, but only 2 bottles ever reached the table. The most disruptive issue involved the alcohol billing. Despite the clear instruction that drinks be ticketed individually, that instruction was ignored. The result was confusion and unnecessary inconvenience at the end of the night while the bill was being sorted out. Because I believe in giving businesses the opportunity to correct mistakes, I contacted the restaurant directly before posting any review. Caroline acknowledged the issues and escalated them to Larry Poston, the Hospitality Director. Their resolution was offering a $250 credit for a future dinner. For context, this was a table of eleven guests who collectively spent thousands of dollars on an experience that was poorly executed. When I requested two reasonable corrections: A refund for the nine bottles of water that were charged but never served A fair adjustment reflecting the service and experience delivered The request was simply ignored. No response. Restaurants can make mistakes. Every hospitality brand does. The real measure of a hospitality company is how leadership handles the situation when the experience breaks down. Delilah Dallas had the opportunity to resolve this privately. They chose not to. If you are planning to celebrate a birthday or special event here, just understand that a beautiful room does not guarantee a well-managed restaurant or a leadership team willing to stand behind the experience. We finally get in and wanted to have a drink at the bar first to wait on our friends to get even more disappointed with that service. After all that we are seated at our table to be told we can't even order an appetizer without ordering our entire meal. So many wrong things happened during our dining "experience" from two weeks ago that I feel compelled to write a review. The place is so dark that you need table lights to read the menu - we had one for a party of 6 and asked for another one please. Nope. Ordered wine...what was brought to the table was not what we ordered and then were informed they were not only out of what we wanted but suggested another bottle for 3x the price. Nope. One of our guests ordered a drink with dinner...after multiple requests it literally showed up after we finished our meal. Plates were cleared before people finished dinner. Ordered desert for 3 birthdays at the table...should have been told the Baked Alaska was for 4 and not 6. Someone at our table barely got a spoonful. And don't get the brownie as you will be paying for 16 scoops of ice cream (no one told us that either). Then we asked for some decaf coffee and we were told that they might be out...but after checking, they had "good news" which was 3 cups left for the 4 people who wanted coffee. How hard is it to brew a pot of coffee? The food was ok, but given the prices and the fact that there were so many missteps, our whole conversation during the evening was about all the things that went wrong. Music was good but having dancers wiggling around over your shoulder and feather pieces falling into your meal is a bit odd. People will either love this place or will never return....we are the latter. read more

Rocky first go, will start off by saying food was great! Chicken tenders were alright for 4/$30. It took over an hour and a half for our entrees to come out, we weren't informed there'd be a delay and we had to go ask where our food was. As an appetizer we ordered the hamachi and the caviar service... when it got there we got the hamachi with caviar on top. Confused, we asked if that's how it came but I guess our server understood we wanted it on top and not the service? We let him know and he sent out the correct one and apologized. Once we received our bill we were charged for the caviar service and hamachi (add caviar, $100). Surprised we had to ask for that to be adjusted as it wasn't what we wanted. He modified it and the manager was kind to address the delay on our food. Then we got to the coat check which consisted of me letting the woman know which one my jacket was and her telling me it didn't match my ticket :)) there were people behind me so I let them get theirs and after my party and insisted on my jacket belonging to me and she caught an attitude saying it's not aritzia (it said babaton) lol. The food at Delilah is great but Dallas has great food all over. It's very disappointing getting dressed up, making plans and paying top dollar for f&b just to wait over an hour for your table crammed at the bar with other guests who have also been waiting for an hour. To add to this, the bar is packed with seated guests eating full meals you have to shoulder your way between people to get cocktails while you wait in hunger. I would think a high end restaurant would want a better client experience. I guess they're leveraging their name and sacrificing good service and management. The waitress pushed us to course our food out but then brought all items at one time so I was eating chicken tenders with my steak and hamachi. The chicken tenders tasted watery but my steak was absolutely perfect. You can't go without getting the carrot soufflé - it is by far the best item on the menu. Our family style dishes did not have serve-ware so we were left to use our personal forks which isn't a huge deal because we are close but I would hate it in a different setting and it just does not meet the fine dining standard. I would suggest waiting until people get over this place until you try if you're a foodie. Aside from horrible organization, this restaurant is fabulous but not worth the headache. read more
