My stylist was Leslie. She did an awesome job. I was nervous initially because I was scared of getting a scissor happy stylist but she only cut what was needed and shaped it up real nice. I couldn't be happier with it. She was nice and professional. Gave a good shampoo cut and blow dry. Front desk was super nice as well. She did an awesome job with the blow dry too which is something that was hard to find as well. I had chopped some of my hair off because it was getting heavy and it was uneven. She fixed it and left my length which is what I was worried about. And now my hair is super soft and lightweight. Oh and tip with cash, you can't leave a tip on your card. read more

i brought my daughter in to get her hair styled in a simple updo for a wedding. She was a flower girl and was so excited to get her hair done. The stylist was a young girl who couldnt manage to get her braid done right. It looked like a child had done it. I had my husband FaceTime me and requested that her hair gets done again as I was paying 100$ for this service and I wanted good quality. She finally managed to get a nice braid and a very loose bun that came lose in 15 min!!! I am not exaggerating. By the time my daughter came home her bun was undone, and every string of hair was dragging over her face. My husband then had to rush to meet me 2 hours away so I can get her hair redone by the bride stylist who managed to redo it in a very short notice. When requesting a refund, the manager only could give us 50% off which is fine but I was very unhappy with the service and I will not be going here again. read more

I booked far out enough to get the stylist I wanted. I used the appointment system. Requested stylist could not work that day. Rather than advise us, they gave a student hairdresser still taking classes, who gave a buzz cut. I can buzz cut at home thank you. This is one of the worst haircuts I've ever had. I wanted a shoulder length cut with some layers. It was the fastest haircut and blow dry I've ever had so that should have been my clue. First of all, the stylist did not take nearly enough off because my hair was still way past my shoulders. Next, the layers I asked for was actually just one layer. She spent very little time actually cutting my hair, did not appear to even check to make sure everything was even and sure enough, the front was terribly uneven and once I washed out the terribly dated blow dry, I saw how bad it actually was and had to chop off at least 3/4 of an inch on the left side myself to make it appear even with the right. I have thick hair so I need layers. For $55 I expect a decent haircut. I will never come back here and now have to pay for someone else to fix this botch job. read more

I needed to schedule an inpromptu color as my primary colorist was not available for a few weeks and my roots looked terrible. I booked with Dellaria as they had immediate availability. The root coloring is NOTHING like the color swatch I was shown and is literally multiple shades darker than the rest of my hair hair length. I feel as though I have scalp ombré and I am a natural blond so the extremely dark roots are not flattering at all. Lastly, I had coloring chemicals left on my skin all around my temples, on my neck line, and on my ears. My scalp felt so contaminated from poor rinsing that I needed to rinse again thoroughly when I got home. Caution against using Dellaria for a root touch up, unless you are prepared to have it redone by another, more qualified colorist. I have not gone back to see if they could fix it as I do not want anyone there touching my hair again. read more

I called Dellaria at the Marlboro, MA location, spoke to Branden the manager to set an appointment on September 8th for the next day appt. I specifically requested an "EXPERIENCED" colorist. I addressed some of my concerns: I needed a good colorist because I had a back surgery and I couldn't go back and sit for extended hours to fix any mess up form a novice. I am a big believer if you are going to a hair salon such as Dellaria, you are aiming for an exceptional experience and top service, not to mention leaving the salon feeling like a goddess. Its all about the service and how they make you look and how you feel. The stylist Alicia Marie was polite and sweet but I was looking for an experienced professional. The manager (Branden) set the appointment with a starting fee of $116 full foil. Shortly after, he asked if I wanted to add a cut and blow dry to my service and I said no. (I was already pushing my luck on the primary service with the spinal cord limitations... ) Then, I asked him, if I didn't go for the blow dry service, if I would be sent home with wet hair? As a common sense, I needed to see how the color looked like, right? He was extremely friendly and said that wasn't going to be the problem - and I believed! -Well, I was wrong. A little background: my hair, medium brown, shoulder length, had some previous tiny highlights done from one of the top professionals in the industry overseas prior my back surgery. My hair was extremely healthy and shiny. I walked in, and was directed to a young hairdresser with a half colored bright red ponytail hair. I was looking for a beach style between "Giselle Bundchen/ Jennifer Lopez" hair color. I showed her some pictures of the ash light blond highlights/ombrê look I wanted to add into my hair. I stressed out many times I wanted an ash blond tone. I hate red/warm tones on me. The picture I showed her was ash blond color. Any experienced professional could identify and be able to replicate that! She said it could be done, and that she would also add the toner cost of $25 into the bill. After it was agreed she began the process that took about 3 1/2 hours. I noticed she was applying 2 different colors mixed on the bleach into the hair, but I wasn't sure why. She said it was to prevent my hair from drying out too much. I waited for the process and she washed it off. She put a toner and asked me to wait a little. At the end after washing it off, I didn't notice her applying any conditioner into the hair at all. Once the hair was washed, she brushed it and said: I see you didn't purchase the blow dry service, so what would you like to do? (What did she mean? Was she suggesting I would leave the salon with my hair dripping wet and without seeing what color it was?) I replied stating I needed a dry the hair so I could see what had been done in terms of color. She started drying the hair with so much discontentment... At that point I felt so uncomfortable, and "salon shamed" - - I got the blow drier and dried the hair myself. What a shame! My hair was all frizzy with and warm/orange tones) - Not what I asked for. I was very unhappy! Then she said: The hair is much ashier than before.... I decided to do this way because it thought it would look better... (What did she mean ? She decided to do something without my consent or disclosing it to me?) So, I patiently showed her the inspiration picture again and asked if my hair was even close to what I had gone to the salon for... She immediately agreed it wasn't. Another hairdresser came by to check my hair but didn't say much, following by the manager trying to set me up with someone else to fix it. I asked if my hair could be fried by another bleach process and I was told It possible could... What in the world is wrong with people? Is that just me who anticipates risks and foresee what it might happen or was it a total mistake going to that salon? I was aiming for an amazing experience. I was hoping that place had standards on their professionals. I don't know how the company determines top master professional versus a low average one. Now, I am stuck with this hair that needs more treatment, deep conditioning, the cuticles will need to be sealed and I am afraid it will all break off if I try to fix it. I have contacted the salon, the headquarters office and I am waiting for an immediate solution. I don't want to return to that location because their lack of judgement. Follow up: After calling the company several times, leaving lots of messages with the hope on finding a resolution for the problem. I have filled a consumer complaint and several reviews about my experience and dissatisfaction about Dellaria. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT ! read more

Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. Not only did my hair look awful afterwards, but I had to go somewhere else and pay almost $200 to get it fixed. The treatment was extremely overpriced, I was told it was $150 but I ended up paying almost $300 which was absolutely insane. My hair was completely fried, and it looked like I had skunk stripes when all I asked for was a simple partial highlight. I would not recommend, do not waste your money here. read more

Dellaria salon is a nice surprise. Although it is yet another of the small salons in every mall, don't let the general reputation fool you. The phone attendant/check in lady is a doll. Christine deals with the hair antics of my exuberant 15 year old like a pro. She gets the job done right. Now on to the actual hair cut. My daughter always sees Jess, an incredibly talented man with a sense of humor that entertains her for hours (literally, but I'll get to that later). His masterful hair cuts are always exactly what my girl wants, punky and eclectic. But, as I've heard, he also creates great cuts on her stepmother (who obviously has a very different sense of style than my daughter). Whatever you want, Jess can make it happen. The only drawbacks to this experience is that it takes hours to complete. But, I'm not sure that can be helped seeing that my girl gets a shampoo, dye, and cut here. About over a year ago I booked my first appointment at Dellarias in the Apex center and was scheduled with Lindsey. I was worried about my change in hair color but after meeting her she made me feel very confident and optimistic about what I was doing. I spent most of my day at the salon considering I was dying my hair and I know that great work takes time! When I left I vowed I would never go to anyone else for my hair!!! It looked amazing and it didn't just look amazing, months later (10 months) my color STILL looked fantastic!!! I was getting compliments every time I walked out of my house!!!! I am doing my hair again with Lindsey today and am so excited about the outcome. I have done my hair in Boston, Puerto Rico, New York, Florida and many other states and no one has done my hair as great as Lindsey!!! My daughter went in for a fun hairstyle and wanted hotpink tips. First of all they bleached the ends of her blonde hair to put the pink in...fine. Only the pink was gone within 24 hours, while we followed the stylist's instructions. I called and got her back in. I was apologized to and told that my daughters hair was "too healthy" to take the color. So they RE bleached the ends and added the pink. My daughter didn't wash her hair for days afraid it would just come out again and sure enough the first time she washed her hair the pink was gone. Now she is left with damaged bleached tips. She went swimming in a pool for the first time this summer on Friday and now her tips are green not to mention hay-like from the two bleachings. My 10 year old is devastated and our bank account is $150.00 lighter. From now on I'll use the box dye for less than $10. read more

I was pretty excited about my appointment here. I even booked a co worker. I was going to have my roots dyed, hair cut and a smoothing treatment done. Lindsay applied the color to my roots. She didn't start in the front, which is where most people have a lot of gray and resistant hair. That area should be colored first. Most professionals know this. I was going to spend about $200 in this salon but I had to get up and leave. She left the color on my roots for 55 minutes. For part of that time I was under the dryer. She took care of another client entirely while I sat there. I was not ok with spending 4-5 hours there especially while she cared for other appointments. And pay $200. No way. Apparently they power book there and see clients in between. Now I understand why she did not want to color my hair as originally requested. I had another stylist wash my roots and I left. I had dark marks still on my forehead. The manager offered me a free product. I took whatever she wanted to give. But, that did not make up for the bad experience by far. This is not what I expected. Furthermore, my coworker paid $60 for a simple bob cut. Maybe that is the going rate in Marlborough. And if so, that just sucks. OMG and did I mention my roots are slightly burned! ughhhh! She knows exactly who I like to go to for my hair services and books them for me very quickly. Her customer service is great!! My daughter went there today to get her hair professionally colored (balayage) for the first time. Its a big expense and she was super excited to get it done. First off the stylist was almost an hour late (with no apology). Secondly, when they combed out the teased (matted) WET hair, little care was taken and it almost ripped it out of her head and when she came home her head was still hurting! Thirdly, The color was NOTHING like the picture she showed the stylist. It was more like an all-over slight lightening with 1" (if that) patchy darker roots that resembled regrowth. The cut was minimal with no layers like she wanted. And when my daughter said it wasn't really what she wanted (5hrs later) the stylist dusted her off and replied, "well it was nice to meet you, take care". My daughter was almost in tears. Now she has to find time in her busy schedule to go back in the hopes it can be fixed (they did say the manager would fix it). From her experience I Definitely do NOT recommend this salon. I went to dellaria 's salon because as a new mom I am still loosing some of my hair and it is long so when I saw the promotion for 5 wash and blow dry for only $99!!! I jumped on it!!! I was put with Lexi, within seconds of my appt I was in love with her! She was attentive and sweet to talk to as well. I was very happy with everything I have gone back to only Lexi every time!
