These were delicious, and probably my favorite from the Hopkins food truck festival. We sampled these empanadas: mushroom, sweet beef, spinach, and chorizo. The mushroom and sweet beef were my favorites. I see that their store sells these frozen, and I plan to stop in and get some for eating at home. The crust was flaky, and the fillings were ample and memorable. I loved the chimichimi sauce!

The empanadas are always delicious! As a vegetarian, my favorite is the Sweet Corn and Mushroom -- it's full of flavor. I also love getting the grilled cheese with a fried egg; it's simple but really tasty. The tap beer is always cold and refreshing, which is a nice touch. I tried the desserts for the first time -- the Tres Leches and Flan -- and honestly, both were a bit lacking in flavor. They weren't bad, just nothing memorable. The alfajores cookies, on the other hand, were delicious, though $3.50 feels a little steep for the size. Overall a solid spot.

Take out order of Caprese and a Mushroom empanada. Each empanada has the Del Sur name and a flavor code in the pastry dough.

Steak Lomito + egg is a sandwich G.O.A.T. And that's no slight on the empanadas which we love. Thank you Nicolas and Diego.

Love this place! Such a perfect pick-me-up with good people and great flavor. Don't miss the sweet beef or sweet corn. I always love trying the special flavor.

This last week, I took a co-worker to DelSur, we both got Chorizo sandwich with potatoes, my co-worker said these potatoes are on point and this sandwich is great. It was the third time I got that Sammy, very simple, but great. We also got the Tres leches cake, my friend said it possibly the best cake he has had! That evening my wife was jealous, so I had to ordered a dozen empanadas, the grilled chicken sandwich, and Tres leches cake!

The service was fantastic! I was helped immediately and when I asked for a recommendation they had one for me. They recommend the Sweet Beef and the Sweet corn. Both were very tasty although a little cold. The outside of the empanadas look amazing although they were a little small for the price. This place is rated $ but it's at least a $$ location. I picked up so I don't haveich to say about the ambiance but it looked clean and we'll maintained. PS: Make sure you turn down the right street (Williston Rd), the drive in front of the restaurant is one way.

This place rocks, great empanadas and a very good selection. I like that you can buy them in bulk and take them home and freeze them. Great service and the owners are very nice and friendly. They also own Tonka Pizza (right next door) which is equally as good! Check them out! Cheers!

Dozen empanadas: ham and cheese, sweet corn, caprese, bbq chicken, sweet beef, beef, chorizo, spinach and cheese, pork belly, and mushroom.

I can't believe it took us this long to try this place. The service is amazing. The person that takes your order is as patient and welcoming as it gets. She will explain everything to you, give you recommendations, and make you feel welcomed. We couldn't decide on flavors so ended up ordering a dozen empanadas to try them all. Plenty of options for every taste. Don't sleep on some or the meat-free options... their caprese and spinach and cheese were our favorites, but they were all delicious. The ham and cheese packs SO much flavor (even though it looks so simple). The combination of cheeses really makes you want more of it! The place is ample and welcoming (we were told they expanded recently), and there's plenty of seating for everyone. Definitely an inviting place. We will be back soon to try their sandwiches! PS: they offer Tango lessons too, if you're feeling adventurous.

As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by a smiling face who was eager to ensure we knew how to order. We tried all of the available empanadas and appreciated every single one. We've tried many Argentinian empanadas and I'm generally disappointed by Ham & Cheese. Let me tell you - this was one of my absolute favorites of the day. They include flavorful cheeses, giving an empanada worth savoring. Another I generally shy away from is Caprese because I'm not a chunky tomato gal. This Caprese was incredibly flavorful, melted in my mouth, and really shined. Things to note: the menu rotates, you can purchase frozen empanadas to cook at home, and they offer tango lessons. You know the place is great when those working care, as much as an owner would, about how you enjoy your food.

What a great find! We sampled most of the empananda offerings and all were delicious. Caprese was the most popular but all were great.

We ordered the Porteño (meat pizza) and the Peras (vegetarian) since our son is vegetarian, and both were excellent. Even the leftovers held up wonderfully--reheated in an air fryer, they tasted fantastic. We also tried the churro donuts. On their own they were okay, but with the sauce, they were really good. Highly recommended for pizza lovers, and a great pairing with your favorite beverage--beer, wine, or a non-alcoholic choice

The rating seemed low, so I had to try it for myself. My wife and I went to the original location in the Kingfield neighborhood of Minneapolis. We got 3 empanadas, a pizza, flan, and churro donuts. The menu features 7 empanadas. Of those, we tried the carne, jamón y queso, and the Messi. The carne was my favorite, but all 3 were worth getting. So much so, I'd come here for the empanadas alone. As for the pizza, we kept it simple and got the pepperoni. Boludo's pizza is like none other I've ever seen before. It's somewhat oval shaped, but with 4 corners, and has cheese heavily sprinkled over the crust. Aside from being a bit greasy, the pizza was solid, and better than the 7.8 Dave Portnoy gave it. Similar to the pizza, the flan had a unique presentation, as well. Rather than a slice or its typical round appearance, Boludo's flan is served in a jar and topped with candied pecans. It was rich, but that didn't stop me from gobbling it all down. Lastly, we had the churro donuts. These were reminiscent of cider mill donuts, but better. The donuts didn't need a dip, but the dulce de leche it came with was enjoyable. Boludo didn't miss on any of the items we ordered. Not only did I find the overall experience to be unique, I was genuinely impressed, as well. As strange as it sounds, make sure to check out the bathroom if/when you visit!

Only two $$ listed for this place is inappropriate; every dinner item on the menu was $30 or above…read more So prepare to be a bit swindled, cuz those $30+ plates also aren't gonna be whopping portions. It's the whole "oh it's upscale so less is more" concept. And listen, yes, the lamb was amazingly tasty, as were the veggies that came with it. I'm definitely not saying the food wasn't good; it was excellent, it just sorta felt like a rip-off? And the chocolate torte the four of us shared at the end was also REALLY yummy (but $10 for a small slice w/ a scoop of vanilla, so it better be). If you've got money to blow, by all means, but for the majority of us, this ain't it. I was sincerely dubious the moment we drove up. The place is in a hole-in-the-wall run-down strip mall and the parking lot is full of potholes. The Chinese place right beside it looks like they haven't replaced their signage in thirty years, or maybe they're outta business. When we proceeded inside I could tell the owners had done their best to convert a crappy space into something roleplaying as modern and fancy. It felt a little out of place. The ambiance wasn't all that stellar (which is normally not something I much bother commenting on, but again if you're gonna charge thirty bucks a plate, I begin to factor in more nit-picky things like that); there wasn't any music or anything to cover up the perpetual mechanical hum that seemed to emanate from the kitchen? The bathrooms had a similar kind of "gloss" over it. I was unimpressed that the men's was just a unisex stall without a urinal or anything that actually makes it "men's." Like, just convert your two single stall bathrooms into gender-neutral or all-gender (literally all that takes is swapping signage) so people aren't "waiting" for the "correct gendered toilet" when there's zero difference between the two. It's 2026, y'all. We don't need to practice pointless segregation. Service was reasonably quick, food was hot. The server did a good job of keeping up with my in-laws' unslakeable thirst for iced tea. Everyone was polite enough to us. And I appreciated they were open fairly late into the evening on a Tuesday!

I only noticed two servers taking care of everyone, and as busy as it was, I never felt forgotten. Our servers were friendly, efficient, helpful, and very welcoming. The meal was tasty. I got the Lomo Saltado lunch entree. The rice was seasoned lightly but deliciously. The beef included bell peppers and onions which paired nicely with the rice. The salad was supposed to include a vinaigrette, but I didn't notice anything. Nevertheless it was fine, as was the yuca which had a little green coating. The tres Leche was very good, and had a little toasted coconut on top. I would definitely get again. This is in a part of town I'm not familiar with so I would have never known it was there had my friend nor suggested it. That said I would return and recommend it to others.
