When I took my car I just needed an interior cleaning. I thought it would be detailed more in depth than it was. They seemed to only steam it, wipe it out and move along. It was just not as satisfactory as I would've liked compared to the experience I had at the Downers Grove location. At that location, they made sure that I was satisfied and happy with the cleaning before I left the lot. I wasn't given that same service at the Naperville location. First and last time. I've been a Delta Sonic customer for over 20 years and this past Saturday marks the first time that my Super Kiss didn't remove all of the dirt from my car. The edge of my rear wheel well still had visible white salt on it. Luckily, you have 7 days for a redo, so I will have it rewashed for free next weekend. read more

This location's customer service is terrible! From my experiences, they blame the customers for the employees' lack of care when a complaint is formally made. Their automatic wash wheel rail scuffed my car rims. Their wash rail also did the same to many friends' cars. The unlimited machine scanner only works about 30% of the time. The car wash manager, BILL; district manager JOE MESSINA, and upper management are terrible. And they DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to improve things. So, that shows they don't give a d#mn about their customers. The unlimited wash isn't thorough as other car wash places as other reviewers stated. Their employees rush cars to pull forward, so the pre-soak isn't sufficient. And they use dirty towels that scratch car finishes and leave hazy unsafe windows. If you really care about your car, wash it yourself or look up another place. THIS PLACE IS OVERPRICED FOR THEIR SUBPAR SERVICE! The only reason I used to come here and put up with the terrible service was the originally low priced unlimited monthly plan. But now, it's way too overpriced for the level of service received compared to their competitors. read more

I've gotten my car interior done many times.. but here.. it's taken like 20 minutes.. but that's not bad.. it actually is comforting knowing that my car is in there longer which to me feels like they're doing more... This review doesn't even deserve the one star. Avoid this place at all costs, for your own good. I've been using this car wash and getting fuel from them for 2 years now. I got the unlimited plan car wash which is nice. Three weeks ago I went through there car wash and after that pulled to the men who dry the car with towel. after that I pulled to the gas pump to fill in gas and what do I notice?? Fresh scratch white scratch marks in a semi-swirl motion!! I 'baby' my car and I know what happened. The towel dryers scratched my car because of the salt deposit accumulated in their towels, it was very snowy the day before and because of that there was a lot of salt deposits on the road. Owners you all know what I'm talking about how you take care of your car! you know something happened WHEN it occurs! I'm not an dishonest person, nor would I make wrongful accusations on someone or a business. I met with the district/site supervisor and he was as defensive, rude and unprofessional as anyone could get..and get this.. he's been there for 20 years! I wonder how he sneaked up that ladder. They're argument was if there was salt deposit in the towel that it would've been all over the car and not just in the back quarter panels which was on BOTH sides of the rear quarter panel. They claim to review their videos and they say that the dryers never changed towels. In other words, they're saying that they couldn't have done it. Well explain this to me, if they didn't do it, then WHO did? because those scratches were NOT THERE BEFORE I went to Delta Sonic! LOL. You see they lost more on this than I did. I'll simply get my scratch marks buffed out. Thank God for competition & the internet! I was going to them all the time for fuel, food and a wash! Not no more. Not ever. don't take your car there because they are downright unprofessional. If they break your screw something up with your car THEY WILL NOT FIX IT!! I'd heard such great things about this place. Everyone was nice. Did a great job on my SUV. The problem was when I got home and began putting my belongings back in my vehicle I noticed that the wire on my rear window defogger was hanging down. It had been torn off the contact on the window. I called the next day and spoke to Memo. He acted very surprised and said he couldn't imagine how it happened. Huh? I pointed out that, clearly, the guy who cleaned my back window pulled the wire off the contact. He suddenly got very confused and wasn't sure if they could do anything about it. Huh? He said I could come back and "try" to file a claim but he wasn't sure it would matter. No more. I will not go back. It's a shame. They did a great job but don't back up their work when something is damaged. read more

See original review below; Last summer I had my Honda detailed at the Naperville location and it was not good. After going to get my car, I went home and cleaned the windows right... also the carpet didn't look much better. So this year, just last week I decided to give them another chance and took my wife's Toyota to get detailed and when we picked it up it still had wax on some areas of the car and other areas I could tell never had wax applied. There were other issues. I will never take any of my cars to get a full detail there again. Nor will I ever recommend them! read more

Unfortunately the folks at Delta Sonic on Rt 59 and North Aurora continue to underwhelm. After spending over $30+ on an interior and exterior wash, the bugs and bird poop on the car remained clearly visible (On a white car!!). After speaking to the manager on duty, the feeling I got was - well, those are the breaks pal. Horrible waste of money! I have a new car just two months old. I took it in for the top of the line exterior and interior washes. An hour later it almost looks worse that when I got there. It looked like they just took out the floor mats and rinsed them off and put them back in, UPSIDE DOWN. They even had some new footprints on the passenger mat and carpet that were not there before. My passenger seat had streaks of dirt on it which wasn't from me since I haven't had any passengers in it yet. The windows were FILTHY! They looked like a guy on a street corner wiped them down with old newspapers. They were relatively clean when I got there too. When I pulled up they asked "Is there anything you want us to focus on?" I told them the drivers side carpet was a little dirty. I guess "focus on" means one pass with the vacuum. There was a few pieces of grass and dirt there when I left. For the $40 I spent, I would have been better off doing it myself. This place is a terrible waste of money! read more

They are very friendly I will say. However I went to get a simple oil change and came out with 2 warning lights on. One was low tire pressure ? The next I'm not sure. A general warning light that came on as soon as I got in my vehicle after the oil change. I let the guy at the desk know and his response was I don't know what that light means. Pretty good car was for the value. I do the unlimited which is great but sometimes the lines are really long on the weekends. You also need to give the guys a the end real good instructions or they don't do a really good job of drying. With Rt. 59 construction going on, however, it really drags down the value and convenience here. read more

I've been a member of the unlimited car washes for about a year and a half and really that is tough to beat. 16.99 a month and they do a pretty good job every time! But the washes have been covered in a lot of reviews, so I wanted to focus on the oil changes. I normally get my oil changes at the dealer and am always a little leery of the "15 minute oil change" kinda places. But after my oil change was nearly 1000 miles overdue because getting into the dealer and taking a couple hours out of your day (usually during work hours) is a pain in the butt I decided to give Delta Sonic a try. I made sure they had a good quality premium brand (Mobile 1 synthetic which is pretty much the brand that sets the bar for synthetics) and the pricing was competitive with anywhere else in the area. I intentionally went at a non-peak time and they got me in right away. I was amazed, I really was back on the road in less than twenty minutes! My last oil change at the dealer was two hours even though I had an appointment! They did the same multi-point inspection that most dealers do (all fluids, air pressure, etc), and the staff was courteous and helpful. I really can't find a single reason not to go back. read more

I never write review but I had to this time. I am monthly car wash subscriber but will be canceling my service. 1 the quality of the car wash soaps has gone down they now use cheaper soaps...they're idea of triple foam polish is plain soap lit with 3 different color lights. It didn't use to be that way. 2 the employees are not courteous anymore they no longer guide my car on the rails that pull the car through instead my car bumps along until the wheel finds the Groove....this can lead to damage. They are becoming the Walmart of car washes they are the cheapest but the quality has gone down. I'll still get gas they're but not my car wash my car is too expensive to let them mess it up. what a nice bunch of suburban peoples. They consistently have the cheapest gas in the neighborhood but today I tried their superduper car wash. I'm usually not one to spend $23 on a car wash, but I'll gladly fork over that much to get someone else to clean the inside of my car. The SuperDuper has all the coatings & undercoatings & fanciness that I'm generally distrustful of. BUT! you can come back for two more washes in the next 10 days. That I'm a sucker for. Stanley's recently had 3lbs of strawberries for a dollar. Not a wise move on my part. But, I think this was a good deal for me. 3 car washes for $23? Sign me up. read more

I am picky when it comes to my car washes, and this place is top notch. They have free- do it yourself vacs, and ive been to other delta sonic's and you can tell this one is newer because it is super nice. It has a dunkin doughnuts inside. Gas is always cheaper when you get a wash. Would reccomend getting a monthly deal, I only pay $14 a month for unlimited washes. read more

I have never wrote a review for any company or product before, but this place is the worse. Went there with my 2015 Optima that is only a few months old to get it washed and waxed for the winter. The wash was quick but I had to wait over an hour and half to get it waxed. And when they did finally wax it, they scratched off paint on my hood, scratched the plastic on the back side of my driver side mirror, and scratched and dinged up the plastic by the wiper blades. It does not seem like I'm the only person that has had an issue with their detailing squad. I filed a complaint with the manager and said it would take over 10 days to get a response on if they are going to even do anything about these scratches. DO NOT take your car to delta sonic to get it cleaned. Unless you want scratches on your car. read more

I was due for an oil change and didn't have time to schedule with my normal mechanic. Stopped in for gas & a wash at the Naperville delta sonic and decided to get an oil change there. It was early and I was the first customer of the day - so no wait. Lots of upselling, but I just declined. Quick & easy. With the $9 coupon it was about $29 for an oil change, which seems about right. read more

We got the car was which was 12.99. It's pricy but we can bring in the receipt and get another car wash for free within 5 days.. So for two washes the price isn't terrible. The car wash was really busy though due to the nice weather. First they do a prespray off.. Then we go through the regular wash.. Then afterwards our car is wiped down by hand. Once I spoke to the appropriate person in coorporate they went above and beyond to fix it, even though I wasn't necessarily expecting them to repair it. I go here all the time for basic car washes--they do a good job, but what prompts me to write this review is the treatment I received this past Monday. I decided to get a full detail on my wife's car to surprise her when picking her up at the airport. Unfortunately, one of their employees forgot to wash the rubber mats and they were left in the trunk dirty--a simple mistake, but yes, annoying and normally cause for a poor review. However, I immediately brought the SUV back and was soon greeted by James Miciunas, the Detail Shop Supervisor. He handled the situation with immense care and professionalism. Not only did he fix the mat situation, he also quickly assembled a crew to go over the car with a fine tooth comb to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect. This attention to detail and pride in one's work seems to be disappearing in many industries today, but such is not the case here. I won't go into too much detail here, but James not only made sure the car was perfect, he also compensated me for having to go back because of the dirty mats--he more than made up for the little mistake and has won a customer for life. I have told all my neighbors about this experience too. A little advice: if you have a problem, talk to a manager, if they are anything like James, they will take care of anything to make sure you are more than satisfied. read more

I tend to use Delta Sonic more during the grimy winter season or when I'm just too lazy to wash my car myself. I buy the Super Kiss for 12 bucks so I can go back in 5 days and get it washed again for free. If your car is super dirty they give it a good spray before you enter the automatic car wash. My only complaint is that sometime I get water streaks even after they have towel dried my car. In the past I have also bought the interior cleaning for about $10.00. They do a decent job for the price. read more

First they ask is there any specific need for interior cleaning and on telling them yes my friend had puked inside the car and we have cleaned it completely but still want an interior cleaning to be done. Delta Sonic added a $12.99 monthly interior detail fee onto my monthly credit card car wash fee. I never once authorized or used the interior service. It is my fault that I did not notice the extra on my credit card sooner, but, it's also their fault for ripping me off for months. I give it four stars because it is the best unlimited car wash deal there is. The wash is pretty basic but the cars come out clean and the guys do a good job of drying off your car. I rarely do the interior but when I have they have done a good job as well. They will also check your tires and do other random services for free as a convenience as well. The reason I knocked off one star is because they too often try to upsell you on extras like waxing and windshield repair to the extent it gets annoying. read more

On Veterans Day I stopped by this location for a free car wash. Upon approaching the car wash I was concerned that my vehicle would not clear the wheel guide due to my vehicle being lowered. Upon approaching the car wash employee leaned down and looked and said you have room and waved me in. Once I approached the wheel guide I heard a loud scraping sound. I backed up out of line and an employee looked at my car with me present and I did not see any exterior damage. Days later my vehicle was making strange noises so I took it to the dealership. The damage was a coolant lines that were damaged on the lower left side of the car the exact location where the loud scrapping sound was at the car wash. I paid $400 to get it repaired and immediately went back to Delta Sonic to speak with the manager. He advised me that the car wash attendant should of waived me in and they use some sort of tool to determine if a car is to low to proceed through the car wash. They did not use this tool. The manager admitted fault, took pics and filed a claim. All receipts were copied and sent to corporate. Corporate has denied my claim and was extreme rude over the phone. I deserve compensation! I will never go to this place ever again! read more
