The bartender came round and dropped off a couple of menus, and told us to take our time. Sweet. We got situated, read through the menu, and decided to just have some drinks. There wasn't really anything vegan on the menu, and the cocktails they had all looked to be really sweet, so I ordered a basic ranch water (tequila, lime, seltzer, and nothing else) instead of the one they had on the menu. My companion got a Guinness which they have on tap. The ranch water was made perfectly, and the beer had a creamy head on top, and looked good. It's not my drink of choice, so I didn't taste any from my companion. We sat around and played games and chatted for like an hour and change, and nobody bothered us. There was top 40s playing, and everyone was generally having a good time with whoever they came with. Not a terribly social experience if you're alone, but if you're with the group you came with, you'll be fine for as long as you want, because nobody's bothering you. The men's bathroom was clean and is single use, so you can lock the door behind you and use the urinal or toilet as you wish. The prices were about what I'd expect to pay in a bar near a transit hub, and near the water like this one is. Not too expensive, but not exactly cheap. Basically, it delivers on exactly what you'd expect from the place.
