Cute little spot- nice to go in the summer with outdoor seating. Service was great and quick. Good American food- got pizza, salmon, and sandwich. Pretty good staples and great location. Recommend

If I could give zero stars I would! First off we made a reservation a few weeks in advance for my daughter's birthday for Saturday night, there were only two of us. We arrived 5 minutes early and went to the hostess and she saw our reservation, but she said she would have to get her manager. After a few minutes a gentleman came to the hostess stand and said he doesn't know how we had a confirmed reservation but he couldn't seat us because he has 5 parties going on and the only open space was at the bar. We saw some open tables, but he said that the parties were taking those (they were never used) and he couldn't seat us there. We showed him the confirmed reservation and the multiple text messages we were sent telling us that we had a reservation, but he just shrugged his shoulders and said he had too many parties and he couldn't seat us so we could be seated at the bar. The table was in between loud parties, everyone watching the basketball and baseball games and it was sooo loud we couldn't even hear the waiters. Our waiter was awful, he looked like he didn't want to be there and was very soft-spoken so we couldn't even hear him in all the loud noise. Lastly, the food was awful! We both had fish and chips because it was recommended by several people. The fish was inedible because it was burned and very dry, the fries were decent but soggy and my side of baked beans was so thick and chewy because they were overcooked and dry. We had to ask for refills of our water and our waiter never asked if we wanted another drink, guess he didn't care. Overall, it was terrible service, terrible food and we will not waste our vacation to go back again when there are many other places we can try over the next few weeks we are in town.

This restaurant is excellent. The food is very good and there is a really robust menu with lots of different options. They have a deep draft beer list. The food is high quality and flavorful with large servings. The staff is friendly. The prices are fair and there are no BS fees. I've been here several times and it's always been a great experience. Highly recommend.

Came here on the last leg of my trip, we had a reservation but that didn't seem to matter since they weren't able to find it, after a few minutes we were sat down. My friend ordered a margarita which tasted really strong, but was good. We ordered a pizza which tasted more of frozen from a supermarket rather than fresh, but still somewhat good. Not to mention the waiter seemed to be running around a lot, despite half the restaurant being empty. Overall it was a good experience.

Great food and service! Clam chowder was super tasty and the fish and chips was delicious :)

Came in with a group of 7 prior to a Bruins game. It was a weeknight, 5:00pm, and the restaurant was not busy so we thought "great! We'll be set on time, no problem ". Wrong. Sloooowwww service. Server seemed to be flustered and the dining room was about 20% full. We had trouble getting orders taken, drinks delivered, food delivered. Went up and got the check. Food was fine but not great. Clam chowder was heavy and too thick, could taste the flour in the soup. Quesadilla and nachos were good. Overall, a good location for dinner before an event at TDGarden and I would go there again but would try to sit at the bar. Bar seemed busy and maybe better service.

Lobster roll with salad is tasty (bread is good). Also ordered clam chowder which is about average to me and good to hubby

On the way back from the USS Constitution and were ready to eat our arms as we were THAT hungry! Luckily, we saw signage for this establishment and WHAT A GREAT VIEW OF THE HARBOR!! Nice shaded area where we were sitting and the golden afternoon sun was mood lighting the harbor!! The kitchen is actually off to the side and the menu was a reduced one but had all of the items we wanted! Actually, I guess you could call this their outdoor seating! The bar was off to the side so we had some beer while they worked up our late lunch feast! I ordered the beer battered fish sandwich with a salad which paired nicely with the German Pilsner. The salad was crisp and cold plus was quite fresh and filling! The fish sandwich was absolutely delicious with a heavenly toasted bun! Price was reasonable for the view and atmosphere!

    My empty Oktoberfest Ale!

Def a solid stop! MNF, all American food, wings for $.50, Oktoberfest beers, and a nice friendly vibe.

You can immediately tell this place takes pride in what they do, especially when you see the chefs in action. Watching them work with the freshly made dough and expertly handle the pizza oven added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible. The pizza was hands down one of the best we've had--perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor in every bite. We also ordered the cucumber salad, which was refreshing, light, and the perfect complement to the richness of the pizza. Everything about our visit felt thoughtfully done, from the quality of the food to the energy of the space. If you're in Boston and looking for a spot with amazing pizza, fresh ingredients, and a great vibe, The Salty Pig is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back! We had just arrived to Boston and we were starving so I didn't take photos.

Cozy little spot with a pizza oven and an open kitchen (elite combo). Plenty of seating. I went for a weekday dinner and was served instantly. Started with the oyster bombs ($17 for 3) because oyster + tuna is a power couple. Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned with mayo and chives...gone in 30 seconds. My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. I fully intended to have some for the next day and then aggressively did not. Final verdict: cozy vibes, bold flavors, zero self-control, and I will absolutely be back.

I ordered a draft beer from a large selection of drafts and bottle, cans options. It was Jack Abbey beer... pint came 3/4 full as left a large head on beer and better for establishment pours 12-14 oz in a 16 oz glass.. Beer was warm... bad demerit again Ordered steak tips which came with three large tips on a bed of mashed potatoes, spinach . It had some sour hot nasty pepper garnish.. I wanted roasted red or green peppers with the tips instead. Steak tips were just ok and needed a marinate or side of a dipping bbq sauce or mushroom sauce or anything. Spinach, mashed potatoes needed more butter or garlic flavoring... fresh tasting but bland. Needs more steak tips too for the price tag. It was a nice bar vibe for drinks. The chicken wing lollipops I saw for an appetizer looked tasty. I left hungry for more steak tips and wanted a charcoal char on my tips .
