Amazing cold brew, super friendly service and good food. The atmosphere is a very relaxed, sleek cafe. The coffee itself is very earthy and pleasant. Denim hosts a variety of desserts which are all good; although the corn cookie is a personal favorite. One negative isx the espresso itself is rather bland. Not as much flavor as the cold brew or other beans. However, it does not detract from the overall experience. read more

Younger hip scene. Ordered a smoothie was asked if it was for here or to go. They said we will have that right out to you. I wish I would've known that made a difference. My smoothie came in a glass. So i had to finish it at the store. There were 4 girls working behind the counter. Not busy. I heard them shout something a few times but with the music and being across the restaurant couldn't hear what they said. So instead of just bringing the drink to me, she screamed really loud "strawberry smoothie!" The smoothie was good. Just wasn't sure why the glass, and why they couldn't have brought it out. For a coffee shop the atmosphere of this place is not warm and inviting. The staff was unpleasant, and one of our drinks wasn't made correctly. Although they did reheat our latte that wasn't even warm, the experience was overall just uncomfortable. Won't be returning. read more

I can easily say that location is in the heart of town. More small towns need local businesses like theirs to attract vibrant people to their downtown area. This my favorite local coffee shop in town. For what specific reason? Great coffee and vegan milk options. It's hard to find local coffee shops in this area that serve coffee that doesn't taste like brown water. You will not find fancy Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts type drinks. Options include espresso, drip, hand pour, and cold versions. I almost always opt for drip brew which almost always tastes medium roast with the notorious Oatly added in. Although they do not always have Oatly available, in which they sub Pacific Barista Oat. They have a simple food menu and fairly simple coffee/espresso menu, which I like, in my opinion. I have not tried their food so I can not speak for it. They do not appear to have vegan food options, but do have a few vegetarian options. My main purpose when visiting is a chill atmosphere, great coffee with an oat milk option (my preferred), and free WiFi for work. Normal street parking is available, so be prepared to walk a block if you come at a busy time. I would not hesitate to give 5 stars if a few items were addressed: a vegan food option so I can stay for lunch, dark roast drip coffee options, and consistently made espresso based drinks. The two times my drink has been made different than asked (I.e. received latte like drink when asked for cappuccino) the drink was still delicious so I was not overly bothered. I also acknowledge the difference in crafting a drink with nondairy milk vs dairy milk and attribute the difference to this. I love this coffee shop enough to keep coming back. I keep going to this coffee shop because I REALLY want to like it. I really do. But I just can't. The coffee itself is superb, but drinks are quite overpriced, and almost never made correctly to temperature on the first try. The shop itself has a sterile, hospital cafeteria vibe that is not at all welcoming nor warm, and the staff can be surly, or utterly dismissive, depending on the day. I find myself walking the extra block and a half to Square Bean, the other coffee shop downtown, more often than not anymore. Fix your staff's attitude issue and teach them to make the drinks true to temp, make your decor less 'hospital chic' and you'd have yourself a top-notch business. The product is good, but the execution needs work. read more

Coffee at this establishment is great. Today was my first time ordering from there (thru DoorDash) and loved the coffee. However, my co-worker and I also got breakfast sandwiches. Mind you this is the first time we've gotten from them. My sandwich was fine; however hers had 4 different hairs in it as well as what looked like specks of dirt! It's hard to tell and I don't want to assume but looked like the sandwich had been dropped on the floor and then thrown back in the bag. While the coffee was great, have to admit this will hold us back from ordering from this place again, just not acceptable. read more
