Clearly this place has turned into a tourists' sanctuary, but that didn't stop the staff from giving us exceptional service. We ordered a medium pan pizza with extra pepperoni (the extra was a mistake and unnecessary lol) and half jalapeno with a half Caesar salad. The salad was.... a salad, nothing to write home about but completely essential to help cut the richness of the pizza. The pizza, Oh Lordy, what an undertaking. I don't think I'm qualified to judge a deep dish pizza, because I've had it only once or twice before. The crust was fine, the sauce wasn't sweet, the pepperoni was crispy the way I like it, and the best part was the crispy edges. It's just such a massive amount of food, just one slice almost sent me over. But it did feel like we got the quintessential Chicago deep dish experience that we were looking for. So look, we are totally glad we came. Just not sure if my arteries could do it again.

It's a good option for vegetarians, but not the best balance of flavors.
