This was my first time here around 6:45am it was only 4 other people here, I had to wait about 3 mins. to be seated, the staff was friendly and very talkative the place very clean, the food took about 15 mins. to come out, the food was just ok and I was hungry too....its like they say anything taste good when you are hungry, and this is funny I was able to pick up free Wi-Fi from Kaiser across the street then free Wi-Fi at Denny's, well I not in hurry to get back here. read more

Let me tell you something about this place, we came here after a event and ordered some food , we had a good waitress and left. We weren't close to the area we lived so we left...10 to 15 minutes into our trip back home I realized my custom made purse was missing.. I knew I had left it at the Dennys so my friend decided to call to confirm my suspicion and sure enough they let us know it was there, we decided to get off the fwy and return for it ..on our arrival Lidia ( the person that answered the phone ) greeted us and then said someone took the purse, so we were confused because they had just confirmed the purse was in their possession??!! so then we decided to call The manager Diana after... and asked her why was the purse allowed to be taken after they were notified it was missing and the owners were on the way for it?? they had no valid explanation, they knew we were coming back for it and allowed stranger's to take it I was boggled on why would they even confirm they had it and didn't even care to confirm who's it belonged to!!!! their look was blank and response beyond unprofessional. Sad of course, that bag had a sentimental value.. besides them being notified we were on our way for the purse these ppl were careless, their was stuff left in that purse and these ppl did not care, they just want to give a bill and have you leave, customer service is out the door here, and their managers are shit CARELESS and IRRESPONSIBLE and slowwww no protocols nothing, no type of intellect, skip this place specially at night because they'll make sure to take advantage. read more

My area kinda sucks since it all cheap crappy hamburgers places or tons on lousy Mexican food or bad Chinese food in the area of paramount. I order the the super bird which is sandwich with sliced turkey, tomato, bacon and Swiss cheese. The first version was pure crap 2 slices of turkey that looked nasty, the ends of tomatoes, 2 pieces of over cooked bacon and 1/3 slice of cheese and cheap bread. So the manger offered to remake the sandwich. His version was not to much better and using the way too much of imitation butter on the sandwich made oily on the bread and dripping on the plate. First things first, it's Denny's. I don't have the highest expectations, and it's not somewhere I will go on my own. We come here, because my 89 year old grandmother likes the chicken fried steak and hot fudge sundae. Plus, it's right across the street from the doctor's office, which makes it really convenient. The ranchero tilapia is not bad. The accompanying mashed potatoes are odd, so I'd opt for rice, but the bread is actually quite good! There are a lot of old people around, usually dressed in Hawaiian shirts. All in all, if you've got a grandparent who wants to eat, you could do worse than Denny's. read more

A lot better that what it used to be; and by that I mean, ambiance, food and modernity (if that's a word). Updated visual appeal, they have even added TV's in the dining area...they definitely know their clientele. The food was cold with a large group of 8. The food was very bland. The service was sub-par, although it was a little busy; we continually had to ask for things like refill's and utensils. The restrooms were clean and served their purpose. All in all..any restaurant with a claw machine.. I mean how good can that ever get? Just a tad bit better is what I would expect. It was better than past visits but still not up to par. read more

The waitress was terrible. She forgot everything I ordered and kept coming back to ask me!!! The food came cold!!! Cold food like really?! I told the waitress that I was un satisfied with her service because she kept forgetting our order, she just said "I'm sorry do you want some goldfish crackers or icecream for your kid?" Like who raised this lady?! You think that will fix your service. When I got up to pay I wanted to speak to the manger and she didn't let me. She charged me for everything she forgot to give me! They had horrible customer service today. The server was so unattended, didn't bring all our drinks. The cooks put my toast on the same plate with my food, which got all soaked. Every other customer was waiting for ever to get their food. It took at least 15 minutes for us to get our food and another 15 minutes to get our check. This was our weekend place to eat, but they will change. We will not be returning due to the horrible service given to us. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but I had to share this one. I ordered the House Salad and added Prime Ribs for $4.00. I literally got 4 cut pieces and a few more diced meat. I don't know what to say. On top of that, the meat was cold. It was definitely not cooked for my order. It feels like I got some leftover from order they were making for someone else. read more

I Made a phone order to go, Herman (cashier/manager?) told us to come between 25-35 minutes. I came in 30 minutes after and I know it's usually full on Sunday's and I understand. So I ended up waiting over an hour for my food which is ridiculous. On top of that they messed up my order and I kindly told them to fix it, and they did. They also added an extra breakfast item and they quickly told me 'that wasn't part of your order let me take it out.' Then come to realize they forgot to give me syrup for my pancakes on my way out. I go back and tell Herman that he forgot to give me syrup. And he just hands it over to me, no incentives no nothing! Didn't show he was sorry at all. To make it worse my burger was sloppy and the food was cold when I got home. You have a better chance of getting the Popeyes chicken sandwich than your order right at Denny's. Denny's makes you wait just as long or even more. read more

We placed an order for curbside pick up, instructions say to call them when you're there for them to take you your order. When we got there the phone was busy, so we called again. Then the phone would just ring, we called them 56 times. So we get off and call them from inside of Denny's and guess what the phone isn't even ringing, so they must've turned off their ringer off. The girl's excuse was they're really busy so at this point we've been waiting an hour and our food was just sitting on the counter. We get home and all the food is cold and looks like it was just thrown together. More than 60 dollars of food wasted. Don't offer the service if you can't handle it. It's ridiculous. Worst waiter ever. came to this place last sunday 04-24-17 morning at 6am with my girlfriend they gave us a table very quick (the place was empty only one person eating). we order coffee to start, so far everting was looking alright, we wait 10min and coffee wasn't on our table yet neither the guy who was serving us to take our order. We wait 25min and the waiter never came to bring our coffee neither to took our order, are you serious? this is so disrespectful the waiter was talking to the guy in the kitchen all the time it look like he was having a good time but never ask if we were ready to order. People like this shouldn't be working on a restaurant. I ask the guy for his name and he told me "my name is frank" and he was lying because i had come here before and they cold him Jose. Having 3 kids of my own 22,18 and 9. I've visited my share of Danny's. Sadly I've had very bad experiences at most. However this one just took me to 5 stars. The boss possibly GM of the store quickly came and took our drink order while our waitress seemed very busy. The overall experience at this restaurant was by far outstanding Yadira was out server. We got to dennys at 12ish. The lady who took our order is Amelia she has the Sweetest voice and kindest energy but terrible service. First off we asked if they had the Wild West omelette to which she said no but I thought it was strange because every other dennys we've gone to has it. But anyway we placed our order and it took almost 40 minutes okay fine some other lady brought our food. Afterwards we flagged down Amelia asked for some jelly and we never got it. Then we just said f this asked for the bill and got someone else's bill to put the cherry on top. Went to the front desk to get the correct one and they were charging us for the pancakes we never got either. The manager who mind you had her neck all hickied up had to void the pancakes and give us our correct receipt. Overall crappy experience. We understand it's busy but every customer should get decent service. read more

This Denny's is ok at best, only saving grace is one very sweet lady. Don't come to order any of the steaks. It never comes out right. They aren't apologetic about it either. Not sure why they NEVER answer their phone to take orders for pick up. Several times I've tried calling and no answer. I've googled two separate numbers for them, one is a busy tone and the other just rings and rings. I always end up placing my order with the Denny's off of Lakewood and 91fwy. I'd imagine how much business they are losing due to the fact no one can get a hold of the restaurant via phone. Literally the worst Denny's experience that I have ever had. They quoted that my curbside pickup order would be ready in 30 min. I arrived right on time and they said it would be another 10 min. I waited another 30 min before asking again about my order. 20 min later I saw them bring out an order and give it to someone that had just arrived. The guy opened it up and gave it back to them. Then they walk that same order over to my car. I'm pretty sure that is not COVID compliment. Additionally, they forgot the icing on my cinnamon roll pancakes so I went inside to ask about it. They took my pancakes back and put whipped cream on them. I told them it doesn't come with whipped cream it comes with icing and they scrapped off the whipped cream and put icing on it. The whole experience took 2 hours and now I have my order that is cold and soaked in whipped cream that should have never been there. read more

Just went into my local Denny's to get a grand slam breakfast to go. Never ever again they deserve not one star. The two pieces of bacon and two sausages had to of been left over from the day before. The bacon was very soggy like water and the two skimpy pieces equaled only one piece. The sausages tasted like rotten pork that they got from the garbage. I got maybe a half cup of hash browns. The only thing that was made for human consumption were the two eggs,probably because the chef had to make those fresh. This lousy breakfast cost almost $10.00. What a sad ripoff. read more

I just sent a complaint to Denny's corporate office, now Yelping and next is to file a complaint with the health department and the BBB. We are long term customers of this Dennys. And I always tip well. Today my son & I both ordered burgers. I was half way through my burger and bit into a WOODCHIP! Yes a WOODCHIP like the kind they have in their planters outside! I tried to stay calm and lost it when the manager only offered to pay for my meal only! and he offered my son a free milkshake and me another free burger and/or soup or salad! Seriously ! why would I want MORE FOOD from you! I asked for them to cover my entire bill, which was $15.84 after deducting my burger off the meal and sad to say both managers refused! Seriously! You want to lose a long term customer as well as have a health department and BBB complaint against you for $15? Ok ! Done deal! As I walked out I told all the customers waiting outside about my finding a woodchip! The manager said he didnt know where the woodchip came from...I dont know and I dont care! It's totally Unacceptable and Disgusting! I told him I would put them on blast on yelp as well as the health department and BBB ! read more

So Sunday july 26th I had decided to have a meal with my cousin at this location in my neighborhood. To start kevin showed us no hospitality what so ever, he seemed to always remain inside instead of showing us hospitality,So dalia and kevin made me pay before, so after they were able to give me my food and it also made no sense 2 tip kevin in the beginning of paying when yet he hadn't even served us yet.so I didnt think nothing at first until I found at that other customers were paying til the end. So why was I the only one told to pay first before getting my food after being hungry from a long hard working day? That's just foul, not fair, not being treated equally, and of discriminated. So I spoke to the manager and Kevin, kevin had told me denny lost $200 that morning to others that were dinner dashing, which is none of my concern or has nothing to do with me your problem not mine. He had told me and my cousin that others around our age were diner dashing and that is why he had made us pay in the beginning. Which means he was profiling us as in if were going to diner dash as well which is not right. Basically telling us we were just going to order and leave with out paying. In my life I had never ever walked out without paying for my food.I didnt know dennys had target people just because of there age or they way they look or dressed, also kevin had commented "ITS JUST BUSINESS", toward me. Your business is about profiling people, and assuming my actions our the same as others around my age range, which means you are judging me by my looks which is racism, and of course discrimination, thats UNACCEPTABLE. I never felt so confused embarrassed,uncomfortable,humiliated and sad because people decide to assume and profile me as a group of people who dine and dash or steal. Never will I eat here again, I'll be sure to tell my friends, family, co workers, and of course my fans about my experience and my local hometown dennys. Kevin and dalia/manager should be outside and aware of his guests not all the time inside procrastinating, also ignoring guests hospitality and that probably the reason why other were just walking out.
