So Sunday july 26th I had decided to have a meal with my cousin at this location in my neighborhood. To start kevin showed us no hospitality what so ever, he seemed to always remain inside instead of showing us hospitality,So dalia and kevin made me pay before, so after they were able to give me my food and it also made no sense 2 tip kevin in the beginning of paying when yet he hadn't even served us yet.so I didnt think nothing at first until I found at that other customers were paying til the end. So why was I the only one told to pay first before getting my food after being hungry from a long hard working day? That's just foul, not fair, not being treated equally, and of discriminated. So I spoke to the manager and Kevin, kevin had told me denny lost $200 that morning to others that were dinner dashing, which is none of my concern or has nothing to do with me your problem not mine. He had told me and my cousin that others around our age were diner dashing and that is why he had made us pay in the beginning. Which means he was profiling us as in if were going to diner dash as well which is not right. Basically telling us we were just going to order and leave with out paying. In my life I had never ever walked out without paying for my food.I didnt know dennys had target people just because of there age or they way they look or dressed, also kevin had commented "ITS JUST BUSINESS", toward me. Your business is about profiling people, and assuming my actions our the same as others around my age range, which means you are judging me by my looks which is racism, and of course discrimination, thats UNACCEPTABLE. I never felt so confused embarrassed,uncomfortable,humiliated and sad because people decide to assume and profile me as a group of people who dine and dash or steal. Never will I eat here again, I'll be sure to tell my friends, family, co workers, and of course my fans about my experience and my local hometown dennys. Kevin and dalia/manager should be outside and aware of his guests not all the time inside procrastinating, also ignoring guests hospitality and that probably the reason why other were just walking out. Man I don't even know what to say. I ordered a zesty nachos with extra MEAT on the side. I went and picked it up they opened the container to verify with me the contents and to my horror I see this JUICE with melted cheese. But I'm not a complainer so I tell myself to calm down, if may not be as bad as it looks. I get home open up the box of nachos, which by the way was the best thing about the dish, start dipping and low and behold I'm still looking for some or something that resembles some meat. I don't know what in the hell I had. There was no thickness to it and no chucks of meat. It had the texture of a salsa without the chucks of veggies I couldn't eat it but I did enjoy the chips. What a disappointment and a waste of $13 dollars. Never again. I've had their nachos years ago and they use to be quality. I guess everybody is choosing quantity over quality now a days. read more

This is a pretty bad Denny's, their service takes pretty long time for their food during the evenings (around past 12). Personally, I don't mind waiting in a restaurant but the waiting time is unexceptional, even if the staff is low. It's not usually like this here. They are fast, sometimes. Worst Dennis experience. I don't remember the waiters name but she was a fake blonde with braces. She took 15-20 minutes just to greet us and take any orders. Then she gave me an orange juice with no straw so I had to wait another 15-25 minutes for her to come around with food so I can get straw. Then she brought my sons pancakes with no syrup. She said she would bring it soon, the syrup never came and son ate them with no syrup. Truly unhappy and bad experience. I normally like Denny's for a sure thing breakfast because they offer several breakfast items and let you pick what you want. So Friday morning around 10:30 am I walked in and was promptly seated and asked if I wanted coffee. He brought it and disappeared for several minutes,and because I am a big guy, I didn't like the way I fit in the booth so I asked to be moved. I brought my coffee and continued reading the menu stopping at my choice. Several minutes went by and still no waiter. I finished my coffee and someone refilled it for me. Now I have been sitting for 15 mins waiting, so I finished my second cup of coffee and walked out right past the manager who didn't even acknowledged me. My family and I had a HORRIBLE experience here! My sisters food was not cooked thoroughly and her eggs were runny when she asked the eggs to be scrambled hard. My 10 year old nephew had the oiliest food I've ever seen in my life. He couldn't even eat it all. My mother's food took about 20 minutes to come out AFTER our food was already served. She asked for a refill and apparently they make homemade soda there or at least that seemed to be the case considering how long it took to come out. My food upset my stomach so much I spent most of the night in the restroom. Our server was so non-existent I forgot we had one. You can guess how much her tip was. All in all I wouldn't adventure back into this place on a dare. Oh, and if you're over 30, don't expect your food to come out on time. Look forward to the wait my mom had. read more

The food is always good, but what makes me and my family drive the extra 5 miles to come to this Denny's instead of the one we have a few blocks away is the excellent customer service provided by the staff! It's a Denny's so it's not in the same realm as a three star Michelin restaurant but I was expecting decent service with decent breakfast. Boy was I wrong! First the waitress had an attitude that would get one fired immediately. She could not be bothered and ignored my first request for sugar (I ordered coffee, which was burned). Second, the food... If it could be called food. I had previously been there and the food made me sick. And I know, I'm practically asking for it, but my boyfriend insisted on coming here since he'd forgotten about our previous experience. Surprise, surprise! I'm sick again. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I called to place a to go order for a country fried chicken breakfast and a side of pancakes for my daughter because she wanted that for her birthday breakfast, and the lady who took my order told me 15-20 mins. We get there and they keep telling me "5 more minutes"... After 20 mins it's made known to them that it's taking a long time and the manager Diana screams from the kitchen "there's no country chicken"... Service was slow. Had bread issue. Sourdough didn't taste like sourdough. Tasted like regular white bread. Waitress did not offer anymore coffee. This is my favorite local Denny's! I live in Downey but there have been times my husband and I drive to this location rather than a closer Denny's (in Downey which is my second favorite location). When I was dating my husband we both lived in different cities and we would drive to this location because of the great service. This is also a big location and we usually get seated quick. It was remodeled not that long ago and it still looks new. The service is good & quick, there are plenty of options to choose from, and we have no hesitation driving a few miles out just to have a relaxing dinner. read more

Superb Service! @ first we needed to be in view of the street bike we rode here. But, unfortunately the waitress had just sat down a huge party and was looking quite busy. So we trusted the bike where it was & I asked the manager (who happened to be rollin and placing silverware on the tables in the back round) if we could just be moved somewhere were our food would be faster .... We were hungry! And worried about the bike! The kindest woman, Cathy the manager, was more than eager to help us . I would give the waitress (Sylvia) at least 3 stars. She was nice. However the food was at best a 2. My daughter ordered for herself and the kids grandslam breakfast. The eggs and pancakes were lukewarm and the bacon, I'm sure was already cooked and sitting out waiting to be served. I ordered 1/2 nachos, the chips were old and they had the audacity to put cold chili over nachos. I sent it back and it returned warmed. The best item was the pancake poppers (I think that's what it's called). But when I went to eat the last one of an order of six, it was sitting on a strand of hair, gross. This Denny's lacks a few elements needed to fulfill a pleasant dining experience. While I didn't expect anything extravagant (I mean, this is a chain restaurant), I was at least expected to receive some decent customer service. The waiter here was rude and also got my order wrong, and was reluctant to fix it. There is a lack of food servers here because one man was in charge of one too many tables, and not to mention had a rude attitude, and using profanities with my party. Consider taking up an etiquette class. Now, on to the food. The food seemed to be undercooked. Upon leaving, my friend and I had stomach pains and we both feel ill. As we arrived we got seated right away, but it took our server to approach us 7 minutes. He was friendly. I order super bird with side salad instead of the fries and my sister order nachos. I saw that it took my server a very long time to get my salad because conversation with co-workers was more important, after he finally fixed my salad he had it on his hands for a good 5 minutes continuing with his conversation. I've dropped by this location 2-3 times now around midnight and the staff isn't very lively. Yes I know it's midnight and we may be tired but to leave my plates sitting in front of me clearly empty isn't very hospitable. Servers take quite the while to bring you the check to the point where you either have to ask for it directly or just go to the register and pay. On Mother's Day we went to have breakfast at Deny's in Bellflower, Roscram Ave. The waitress Claudia took care of us very well since there were many people in the restaurant, the food took about an hour to arrive but the waitress offered us fruit while we waited and pending that we don't run out of drink at any time. This is the worst experience I ever had on a Denny's on breakfast time, I came this past Sunday morning at 6:20am we got a table right away, the waiter seat us all away in a corner and we order coffee to start, we request to change tables near the Window which we noticed right away the guy didn't like it, we got the new table but the waiter totally forgot about us. We wait for almost 15 min and still no news from our coffee, mean while he was having fun talking all the time with someone at the kitchen, don't know if he was on break or what, the place was almost empty only a couple and another person on a different table. 25min past and waiter didn't bother to take our order. Don't know what was his problem, if he doesn't want to work just go home and stay there!! Not even could request another waiter because he was the only one no manager only this rude guy. I totally not coming back to this place, is a shame how management can have this kind of employs with this type of customer service.
